This store has some boutique brands(Curivari and CLE), but mostly cigars from General and Altadis. The store was purchased by Cigars, Cigars, a chain with 8 stores in PA and one in NJ, about a year ago. The one employee who is there 5 days /week is less then helpful. He won’t make suggestions or tell you if they have new products. The staff used to be extremely helpful and friendly. They charge MSRP. You can’t smoke what you buy there unless you”re a member. I rarely shop there anymore even though I live ½ mi away.

I stopped in while in the Dub C the other weekend celebrating the birth of my niece. I wasn’t hounded by the employee the moment I walked in the humidor which was nice and a bit of a change of pace. However, when I did ask for some suggestions, like I always do, I got more of a, «well, I kinda like them all» response as opposed to a few concrete suggestions. I saw some sticks with some great prices, saw some others that seemed a bit overpriced(cigar shops are funny in that way). Anyway, came out with a couple petite coronas – an Ashton VSG(medium-full bodied with a nice smoke output) and a Rocky Patel Vintage 1990(haven’t cracked into this one yet – the guy said it was more in the medium-body vein).

I stumbled in here looking for a cigar fort boyfriend. I had absolutely no clue what I was looking for, but luckily the staff guided me without making me feel like an idiot. «When he has a cigar… Is it dark like this one, or lighter in color»… «About how long is the cigar». Etc. based on my questions he was able to select a cigar my boyfriend enjoyed on the golf course the next day! Many thanks!
