i went there this past Friday night and got two things to go. I had a question about the meatball grinder on the menu and the guy in front didn’t know the answer, so I asked to speak to the manager. He said there was no manager there, but the owner was in the back. I asked to speak to him then. The guy in front seemed bothered, but picked up the phone and called the owner. He told me the owner was too busy to come out and speak to a customer. This was my first time there and it will be my last. The fact that nobody cared enough about the customer shows be they have no customer service training and this was coming from the owner! God knows what they put in the food if this is their attitude. Just a total disgrace for a restaurant business. I told him I would not be visiting their restaurant again and would never recommend it to anyone.

Good food, love the garlic breadsticks and the pizza is good. Don’t order there that often. One time, it took almost an hour after I ordered for them to come by. The food is ok and I get it once in a while. Coming in at lunch time is good cause you can get a slice and it’s not bad at all.

Excellent Sicilian pizza!!! Not sure why I waited so long to try Carmines. Very nice carry out beer selection as well.

Dinners are way overpriced for a pizza shop! And forget about a glass of fresh brewed iced tea, it’s presweetened and comes from the soda fountain. Tried their pizza once, it was not edible. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because I did try one of their overpriced dishes and actually wasn’t that bad. The cost to quality ratio is not good so you’re better off making the decision to go someplace else.

Go during busy times for freshest selection. Pizza slices are good. Try the blue cheese cheese steak and the tomato pie. I had EXCELLENT spinach and cheese lasagna. However, we did have less than good seafood pastas one evening. Agree with another reviewer that bread sticks are sub-par. Weird because the pizza crust is very good.

Had a gift certificate for a free cheese pizza and ordered a Bianca with meatball. My family & I loved it. Great pizza. The service was good

Love their pizza. Ordered takeout and eaten here once. Good crust. Great ratio sauce and cheese. Had both plain cheese and pepperoni.

Food is average, pizza slices sitting for hours and dried out. However, the service is terrible! The manager was downright rude to us. Will Not be back!

I’ve been to Carmine’s a bunch of times since it is very close to my workplace. Decent food. The pizza is oven baked and they have a ton of different options. The buffalo chicken cheesesteak is very good, among the best I’ve had due to the sauce alone. The breadsticks and fries are sub-par. Lunch is quick and pizza is served on the go. There are no trash cans anywhere. The staff cleans up for you. Dinner is sit-down with service.

I’ve gone to Carmine’s quite a few times but I’ve always gone with at least one other adult. The food is usually good and the location is convenient. However, today I had no other adult with me and so I took my service dog in case I were to have any mobility issues; accompany me was my granddaughter, age 5. We were waiting in line to be seated when one of the workers started YELLING at me to get THATTHING out of the store, screaming that«You can’t be in here!». I tried to explain that the dog is my SERVICEDOG and I had her documents to prove it. She told me she doesn’t care! Another worker came up and started also telling me that SERVICEDOGSARENOTALLOWED! Clearly, they don’t know the ADA law. A third worker started trying to tell them that SERVICEDOGS are allowed and they did not want to listen to him. I started to agree that I would leave, except I wanted them to put it down on something with their restaurant stationary that they were refusing to provide service to me because I have a service dog. Instead, they threatened to call the police. When I told them I would call the police myself — that is when they started to think that perhaps Service Dogs ARE allowed and they decided to listen to the third worker who had been quietly but emphatically telling that service dogs are permitted. They finally decided to «allow» me to be served, but ONLY if we sat as far in the back as possible, so that no one would see us. So we finally did get served and they assigned the worker who had been knowledgeable about the law to provide service. After that, we had no problems. We were seated at a booth in the back, I put down a thin towel I use to mark my dogs«place» when we are out and we were fine. Other patrons who were seated later were quite surprised when we leaving to see that a service dog had been quietly siting under the booth’s table. I still like their food but I don’t know that I would ever recommend them to anyone with any kind of disability. The only worker who had been polite and who had known and understood the law was told that tonight will be his last night and so he’s out of a job. I suggested he might want to apply where I work. We need polite, calm, intelligent workers there. Too bad Carmine’s doesn’t value good workers — and too bad that the workers they are keeping are rude and do not know the law.

The food at Carmine’s is good and their pizza is very good. As one commenter noted, I, too, am a little concerned about sanitation in the store. I went down the line recently(pizza is served cafeteria style during the day with an abundance of choices). The young girl behind the counter after making change for a customer helped me. She used a spatula to lift the pizza slices and balanced them with her other hand which just came from the cash register. I asked her why they don’t use gloves after handling money. She just shrugged. I asked how she would feel if someone served her food after touching money. She said she wouldn’t like it. Obviously, not a sanitary situation.

I saw one of their drivers picking his nose while on delivery. I would recommend pick-up or dine in service.

The two slices of Sicilian w/toppings tasted like tomato paste on corrugated cardboard! The cardboard like dough had a lightly buttered and charred bottom. The tomato paste was watery and flavorless. The toppings were generous and plentiful. The service was good. It should be. I was the only person in the store(11am). The real kicker was the $ 7 dollar price tag on this tasteless adventure.

Good pizza, good sandwiches, good service and bottomless fountain drinks. I’ve had the white pizza and the garlic breadsticks(always get the side of sauce, sooo good) and they’re both delicious. My friend has had the sandwiches and she always says they’re really good. Pretty big with tons of meat but really good. So if you need lunch, stop on in or carry-out.
