I scheduled a blow out and makeup application for 8:00 on a Saturday, for engagement pictures. I showed up at 8:00 and loved the place. Very nicely decorated and drinks were offered. I waited for about 15 minutes before the receptionist stated that the girl who was supposed to come in at 8 had a family emergency and wasn’t sure if she was coming in or not. She then stated that other girls should be coming in soon. However, those girls had appointments as well. Two customers walked in and were both taken back to have their hair done about 8:45. After asking time wise with the receptionist what I should do, she said she thinks someone will be coming in early and will be able to work on my hair and makeup. FINALLY around 8:55,(my appointment was at 8) Hilary was able to get started on my hair. I had to call my photographer and push back our meeting time for pictures, thankfully he was able to. Hilary came in early and didn’t have an appointment until 10. Hilary was amazing, she apologized for my wait, though it wasn’t her fault. When I told her I was on a time crunch and didn’t need my hair washed she got right into working. It took her about 25 minutes to do my hair. I loved it, I would definitely request her if I were ever going to go back. Another stylist brought her son into work. He didn’t have anything to keep him busy and she just constantly yelled at him. He kept requested that she take him to McDonalds and was jumping around the whole place. I went to another girl for makeup, I think her name was Cynthia. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she ran with it. The makeup looked amazing! However, it didn’t seem to last long after the pictures and started coming off about 3 hours after application. I left the salon a little after 10. The services were free and I tipped the ladies who worked on my hair and makeup even though the receptionist kept saying it wasn’t necessary. I understand that things happen where staff can’t make it in, but the salon should be better staffed, especially for appointments. Not all photographers would’ve been able to push pictures back an hour. I would’ve rated them 4 or 5 stars if I had been able to get my hair and makeup done at my scheduled time.

Top notch service at the blow dry bar. I had a blowout done by Alexa. She was on time for the appointment and went above and beyond to make sure my blowout was perfect. The blow dry bar is gorgeous and they serve cocktails. Perfect!!! I’ll be going here for all of my blowouts from now on.

Don’t waste your time or money. I went for a blow out before my son’s graduation party. I showed the gentleman doing my hair how I wanted it styled… multiple times. It was a picture of me, not a model with a different cut. It was not a complicated blow out and should have been easy to achieve. I’ve been to other salons for blowout services and have never left dissatisfied. It’s just a round brush blow out! My hair has never looked so completely ridiculous. He used a curling iron to try to fix it and only made it worse. My bangs were so messed up that it looked like I had a cowlick on the front of my head! I was hoping nobody I knew would see me as I raced back to my house to wet my hair down and try to fix it myself before the guests arrived. Huge waste of money and time. So much for relaxing before the party and having nicely styled hair for pictures.

Great experience and way to pamper yourself. I go here for special occasions to kick my hair up a notch. They also serve you wine or mimosas. Staff is very friendly and does a great job making your hair look exactly as you want.

Let me start by saying the guy who did my blow out was SOSWEET! ! ! However, sweet does not give good hair. My sister and I went two days before my wedding to pamper ourselves with simultaneous blow outs. When we got there, my service started immediately, while my sister sat… and sat… and sat… and finally right as I was finishing up, they started my sisters blow out. Almost 45 minutes after she was set to start… why bother having appointments if you can’t keep them… which isn’t even what really honked me off. Nothing. No apology, from the stylist helping my sister. The manager apologized profusely, but went ahead and charged full price. :/No bueno. Then to really kick it into high gear… the styles we each selected, were not. Let me give you a tiny bit of background here… the whole idea behind this is that it’s a blow out BAR, so the«menu» is set up like cocktails… with cute cocktail like names to indicate the style of blow out you want. An example, soft beachy waves, you would order the«sea breeze»… now back to the story at hand. I ordered the«Mimosa» which they describe as the classic blow out, shaken with a bit of volume! It was curly, just out ‘n’out curly. I have naturally curly hair, if I wanted to have it dried curly, I would have busted out my own blow dryer and done it at home. This is why I came to the blow out bar, to have a professional give me a hairstyle for my rehearsal dinner that I couldn’t do myself… My sister ordered the«sea breeze» and a million years later… she ended up with a Tammy Tucker Texas bouffant that would make any southern girl proud. Too bad she was looking for more a Blake Lively circa Gossip girl look. All in all I can say, 80 + bucks for a super late start, and two«blow outs» that had both disappeared within moments of getting in the car… I would say: Buyer beware !!!
