Vinnys Famous Pizzeria

This place is all the way closed.

In the past month, we’ve eaten at Vinnys a few times and ordered in from there another 3 or 4 times. All of their food is excellent. The pasta and chicken dishes, as well as the shrimp parm and the salad with grilled chicken, were all very well prepared and tasty. They seem to use very fresh and high quality ingredients. The pizza is very good. The buffalo chicken pizza was awesome, one of the best we’ve had. The stomboli’s are very good as well. I think the owner (chef?) is from Italy and uses her own family recipes.
With so many pizzerias in the area (including one practically next door) it is difficult to stay in business in the Caldwell area. I hope Vinnys thrives because it has quickly become our go to place. I still like the entrees at Forte as well, but I actually prefer Vinnys and like Vinnys pizza, sandwiches, salads, etc. better as well. Please check it out.

First time trying Vinny’s and I was skeptical as I have tried many food places in the Caldwell area and have been let down. We ordered the cheeseburger deluxe and Italian sub. Both were spot on. Did not taste like a frozen patty. I use to order from Michaels and they had the best grilled burger made with real ground beef. When Sonnys took over it was not the same and so I was hoping that Vinny’s didn’t just repeat, which they did not. Italian sub had just the right amount of cold cuts and the bread was drag not stale or hard. Food is reasonably priced. What’s even better is they deliver to Verona. I can’t wait to try their pizza. I only wish they had chicken ceaser salad pizza as that is my favorite, yet hard to find in most pizzarias. Overall great place and will definitely eat here again.
