Surfside Pool Company

Went to Surfside today to pick up pool chemicals. We’ve had our in-​ground pool for 19 years and I have dealt with a lot of pool professionals over that time and have found Brian, the store manager, to be one of the most helpful pool professionals I have dealt with. He is friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I recommend Surfside to anyone who has a pool or is considering installing one.

We started the pool planning process last summer. Brian came out and discussed the pool install process in great detail and was responsive to the many questions we had. We kept in touch through the fall and winter and he continued to respond to our many questions surrounding such a huge investment. Based on this relationship we established with him, we decided to use Surfside and moved forward with the pool install this spring. As anyone knows, with any large project that has multiple vendors and contractors, sometimes bumps in the road happen. Even with other commitments and pools being installed by his team, Brian has continued to be responsive to my texts and calls and to work to address our needs as the project has moved forward and we hit snags or our needs change. The patio is going in this week and the fence and water feature next week. He has been wonderful to work with and we are all excited about the water feature we have been designing now that the project is coming to an end. The pool will be ready for my daughters birthday pool party next weekend! Please keep in mind that a pool install is a very big project and getting it done right takes time but is worth the wait!

Don’t bother with Surfside anymore. Jeff has left the company and with him so has customer service. Brian who said he is manager now us only interested in showing off his fish tanks and his new office space in back warehouse area. The sales people have no idea including Brian what they are talking about and will tell you what they think you want to hear. Don’t believe them be an informed customer walk in there and ask some questions. Then have a great laugh at the answers these clowns give you.

Very poor customer service. I asked Surfside Pools to install a new heater and open my pool as I was away. To make a long story short, they installed the heater successfully, but the pool opening was a mess. They didn’t realize until after removing the cover that they couldn’t start the pool and clean it. It took over a month to finally get them to finish opening the pool, by then it was a mess.
The person who last came out was rude and unprofessional to my wife. I would not recommend Surfside to anyone.
