Pizza Mania

Average pizza place at best. Our server was ok, but could have been friendlier and a bit more talkative. It was a clean and rather large pizza restaurant.

Came in on a Friday evening. Was told to sit anywhere. Only one table was open. We sat down… They then told us we couldn’t sit there because we were only a party of two. We walked out. Server should have known better ! Will never go there again.

My family and I all love the food here. I’m a huge fan of the cheese steaks. Staff members are all pleasant and won’t hesitate to go out of there way for you.

This is a good place. Friendly atmosphere. Service is very good. Food is fresh. Pizza is good. The meatballs are my favorite.

I love this place! Pizza is the closest to NY pizza that I have had up in Wesley Chapel. They are always so friendly. I call ahead and then pick up the pizza, it’s always ready when they say it will be ready. Great place for pizza.

First time at Pizza Mania and very nice people. Got greeted upon entering into facility and food was quick. Ordered a large white pizza with ground beef, believe it or not, it was Very delicious. Everything came out Fresh and Hot, Right out of the oven. Burned my tongue eating first slice Lol Price isn’t bad either. I would definitely come back here to eat if I’m in the mood for pizza

We visited this place over the weekend and it’s very family oriented (Which I always love especially now that we have our lil guy). Our original plan was to do take out then to an uncontrolled matter we changed it to stay in. Plenty of families were already here. Then the big moment came «Pizza Time» not to shabby at all I’m usually tough to please with pizza but I enjoyed it very much. We ordered a pepporoni medium pie, everything tasted fresh like it was made with love. My wife and our lil guy enjoyed it as well so I’m happy we have a great local spot with tasting pizza.

Great service and environment, they also have authentic Naples lasagna. Our family also really likes their garlic nots.

Best pizza around. Read a review about new owners, don’t know anything about that. Same guys are still there making great food!

Still great pizza, and still wish they would deliver!

Okay, so the name doesn’t sound like the first place I’d pick for the BEST N.Y. style pizza. HINT: Make this the FIRST place You pick. I am on a never-​ending pizza quest to find NY pizza. I FOUND IT.
While not the least expensive place, I am willing to pay a reasonable price for awesome pizza. We ordered to go and I picked it up. (No delivery available).
1. The Garlic knots are VERY garlicky (is that a word?). DElicious. We should have gotten a double order.
2. Ordered a Large extra cheese/​half pepperoni pie.
They don’t skimp on the cheese. It could have had a bit crisper bottom crust but it was so good I couldn’t complain.
3. Ordered a 10″ White pizza. Excellent.
4. Ordered a 10″ Margherita pizza. My wife Loved it.
5. Finished off with a generous slice of chocolate cake and an outstanding Cannoli.
They have dine in as well but no alcohol.
I need look no further. This is where we will get our fill of pizza from now on.

Best local pizzeria hands down.

You really cannot judge this place by the name («Pizza Mania» makes it sound like a Chuck-​E-​Cheese or a chain restaurant). We probably wouldn’t even have stopped here if not for a recommendation from a trustworthy source.
We stopped in on a recent Friday evening and were very impressed by both the inside crowd and the take out business they were doing. Pizzas were going in and out of the ovens at a frantic pace. The place is very clean with a nice pizza joint look (and the smell is also terrific). The owner is poised by the entrance greeting incomers and thanking departing guests.
For our first visit, we tried the garlic knots and a large pizza (mozz, pepperoni, mushroom). The garlic knots were freshly made pillows of excellently seasoned dough, served with dipping sauce. Probably the best we’ve had. The pizza was also very good. They stretch the dough fresh here (not a given in all FL pizza places). Toppings were very good. All in all, an excellent pie.
Service was also excellent (especially considering how busy they were).
We will definitely return for the pizza and garlic knots. The salads and pasta plates we saw being served also looked worthy of a try.
If you live in the Wesley Chapel area, give this place a shot.

Order the garlic knots (you won’t be disappointed). Been here several times and different times and service is always superb. Servers are friendly and attentive.
The joint welcomes that family style feeling. On busy nights you can always be assured a seat as many patrons will share a table with your party.

Still my New Tampa favorite — even after all these years!
I grew up in the northeast. Pizza is EVERYWHERE. And it comes in all shapes, sizes, thicknesses, etc. Like so many foods, there is no «best pizza» for everyone. But there are *great* pizzas and pizza places. This is one of them. Pizza Mania serves traditional NY-​style thin crust pizza. When I want a more traditional family-​owned style of pizza instead of the big commercial stuff, this is where I go. You can dine in or take out. No delivery. And yes, it’s worth the drive.
I could right a book about all the different things on the menu. Instead, I’ll just say that I love their food. I appreciate the family-​owned style. And after many years I’m still a very happy customer. I just got *several* whole pies for my birthday and my teenage boys have devoured ALL of it.

Unimpressed.
Start off by mentioning that their poorly formatted online menu had us thinking the pizza was significantly cheaper. Follow that with the owner’s lack of grace in acknowledging that fault –no apology and no real response. A lousy ten percent discount would have gone far as a good will gesture. Further, an utter lack of personality. I’ve seen more gracious bums.
We ordered two large pies, one plain and one pepperoni, and a Sicilian. These people take terrific pride in proclaiming themselves «from Italy to Jersey and Jersey to here.» Well, lemme tell ya, if they were ever in Jersey they never tasted a real cheese pie, much less a Sicilian. The crust is utterly flavorless. The crust on the traditional is too thick. The cheese has an off taste. The sauce on both pies was excellent, but woman can’t live on sauce alone.
This pizza is still better than 85% of what you find for miles around. It’s nearer to New York Pizza than most we’ve tried. Will I be back? Unlikely –mainly due to the owner’s disinterest in his customers.
