Hawk’s Corner Deli

People say the sandwiches can be good here if you get the right person to make it. I haven’t had the chance to get the right person. I’ve only been there while high school kids have made me pretty weak tuna sandwiches.

Really want to like this place, but can not get over the owner’s horrible attitude and customer service. The food is decent enough and not overly priced, however seems every time I go in here I have an unnecessarily bad experience and swear I will not be back. Such a shame, as I am right around the corner, but I can not feel comfortable supporting this business.

Food is pretty good but a «thank you» and some small-​town friendliness would be a nice addition to the experience of visiting.

The cranberry walnut chicken salad is my favorite ever! So good on a hoagie roll with all of the toppings and fixins. Perfect little spot in town to grab a sit-​down meal or take-​out.
Make sure you stop in!

The woman who works the front counter is rude, however the food is pretty good. Could easily run down to WaWa or Starbucks to get better coffee and a better customer service experience

I would love to give this place 5 stars. There had been a big problem with business in this town, especially food businesses. They either have great food and poor management or decent food and extremely overpriced. This place was really good (experience wise) for the first few months. Then the one lady, I could careless about her name (the older one), suddenly became very rude.
As far as the food goes, I’ve had some if their hot sandwiches, hoagies, sides, and breakfast items. The food is all pretty good and not too bad on the wallet. Every time I go I always order an Italian hoagie because it’s $ 4.99 and it’s bangin’, really freaking good. I think it’s the roll. The role is killer hard, yet soft, supportive but delicious. The way it holds the meats, lettuce, onions, and tomatoes is mmmmm so good. Pretty mud my recommendation and it’s a foot long or 10 inches or something along those lines. They should just fix the rude lady and get rid if the coffee they would be in the 4.5 star range.
And they have free wifi!
Edit: gave them a 4. they got a lot of new stuff that is really good and the lady is nice now.

I stopped here for coffee on a cold day. The coffee was pretty terrible, it was watered down and luke warm. Wasn’t really into the menu, so I can’t comment on the quality of the food.

As everyone else has said, there is a real problem with customer service here. Apparently just basic manors are a problem too. I hope they read some of these reviews, and realize that they’re good food is being overshadowed by something that could be easily fixed.

This only got 3 stars because the food is good the grey haired lady with the grasses at the front is always rude! It sort of ruins and other wise very pleasant experience.

Had breakfast there several times. It was good. Lunch was a different story. Chicken salad had an odd taste didn’t like it at all. Prices a little too high for what you are getting. Some workers are friendly others not at all pleasant for a neighborhood deli .i hope they get a clue that being nice to customers makes them want to come back even if the food is just average.

This place deserves a Unilocal review already!!! You can’t go wrong with anything from here, and you won’t be disappointed. This place has everything from breakfast sandwiches made fresh to amazing salads and hoagies that are to die for! Also, on Fridays they have fresh baked pot pies that my father looks forward to every week! They have a couple tables inside you can sit at and eat or wait for your food to get finished. They are also a full service deli so make sure you go here next time to get your meats and cheeses! The service is great as well. Hope they stay around for a long time!
