I love this place! The prime rib is out of this world! The service has always been top notch.

We went there for lunch. I had the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and it was excellent. Everyone else at the table said that their food was really good as well. Had pumpkin pie for dessert. It was made from scratch and was really good. Sue was our server and she did a great job taking care of us. Even one of the managers came over to asked how we were doing. Would definitely come here again.

We celebrated my dad’s birthday here today. Loved the experience. Sue, our waitress, was super nice. She took fabulous care of us while allowing family who hadn’t seen each other in a long time to catch up. Food: my dad’s appetite has gotten smaller over the years. I was surprised to see him eat half of a Reuben sandwich that was enormous. He said he thinks their Reuben is one of the best he’s ever had.(He used to be a head cook at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC.) My harvest chicken salad was delicious. Actual real cranberries, house toasted pecans, juicy chicken breast and a light champagne vinaigrette dressing. Definitely share an appetizer of loaded potato chips(house made). Everyone in our party of 6 loved them. Lastly, the three desserts we shared were all house made and delicious. The pumpkin cheesecake with caramel topping was awesome! Wonderful family lunch. Really nice staff all the way around.

Beautiful place, too bad the food was terrible and the service worse. I had the Chicken Parm. I would highly recommend avoiding it at all costs. What appeared to be canned sauce, and very little of it, made a runny watery mess in the plate that the prepackaged frozen breaded chicken was bathing in. The chef??? Does have a talent I have never seen, the cheese on the top was tough. I didn’t eve know that was possible. Everything, including the one drink refill I was able to get was delivered by a waitress other than my own. At one point a woman, management I assumed, walked up and stood staring at my table for several seconds. She finally asked, still without even looking at me if everything was ok, I just nodded. Mom always said, «if you can’t say anything nice…» The first star is foe food and service, the second for the décor. It is a beautiful place. I wish someone would put a restaurant there.

Went here after the remodel and new owners came in. The place is beautiful… although the dining room is a little awkward with the use of tract lighting and wide open space. The booths are an eye catcher and cozy. I was excited to go, I heard the food was decent. There was no one around other than one 9 top and a 4 top… both had gotten there prior to us. Our server wasn’t that great and acted like she didn’t want to be there… and only saw her twice during our entire meal. We were there for a little over an hour, due to the tables ahead of us. Definately experiencing growing pains. Once we got our food, it was good. Only negative was the lobster fondue shouldn’t be served with toll house crackers… really? But I guess everyone is a critic.

Tried the log cabin but they were full. we hadn’t been here since it reopened but we heard it was not good. Decided to try it for ourselves. Wish we would have drove right by and went home. Service okay, food just not very good. Management definitely needs some help. Beautiful place but everything else needs some help for sure.

Very excited to go there New Years eve. Very beautifully decorated, great waitress, food was«okay». Prime rib served well done, salad was delicious and well presented, but the serving was sparse. Rice pilaf was sticky, not much flavor. Crab cakes did not have a lot of filler, also had no form. Taste was good. I had 10 green beans on my plate. Delicious, but 10? All plates at our table, 8, were beautifully presented, but overall, I was disappointed. I think there is potential, but they need to kick it up a notch. Will give them another try.

We’d eat here every year when we came up for Dicken’s Christmas in downtown Wellsboro. The atmosphere was neat and the buffet was pretty good too. You couldnt beat their all you cna eat crab legs. When we tried to make reservations for this year(Dec 1, 2012), we were told it had closed. Several drive-bys over the course of our stay there confirmed this.

One of my favorite restaurants in Tioga County! Excellent food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. They do such a fantastic job of delivering great food and service every time we visit from Lancaster County. You can either order off their lengthy menu or visit their well-known land and sea buffet. Make sure to save room for dessert — you won’t be sorry!
