One of the most complete flea market people come from all over just to sell. Can not walk this and see it all in 1 day. My favorite is Maroon 1 he has the best prices for awesome silver and fine jewelry he will even trade you just like the Indians use too Lol.

When I used to live in Orlando about 10 years ago, I went to the Webster Flea Market every Monday federal holiday. I took vacation this week and since I was free on a Monday, I hit the Webster Flea Market again. There are actually two large flea markets joined at the hip at this location: the Webster Westside Flea Market and the Sumter County Farmer’s Market, two for the price of one. Admission is free but parking is not — I paid $ 2 to park today. The Westside Flea Market has a lot of open spaces and some covered spaces — none are air conditioned. There are no fruit and produce sellers on the Westside portion because the Farmer’s Markets has that covered in abundance. A lot of vendors with antiques, collectibles more on the Westside portion along with some garage salers — flea market edibles are available on both sides. The Farmer’s Market side has the produce, puppies, t shirts, Made in China, As Seen on TV, jewelry, used books, restrooms, homemade birdhouses, plants, knockoff purses wallets watches, cell phone accessories, and such. This(June or summer time) is off season for Florida(only the locals, very few tourists) so there are not as many vendors set up on a non-federal holiday Monday as there would be during season or during Memorial Day and Labor Day. Those Mondays, both places are packed with sellers and buyers, and it’s well worth coming then if you want a full house to select from. These two venues are only open on Mondays. That limited schedule, one that’s hard for me to enjoy like most people who work Monday through Friday, is the only reason I gave it a 4 star and not a 5 star. I really love going to this pair of markets but hate being basically limited to President’s Day or MLK Day, Labor Day and Memorial Day to attend.

I’ve seen and visited most Flea Markets on the west coast of Florida. This one is a a monday only market and a Huge one. Lots of Antiques and Treasures. a little drive out on the middle of no where but I recommend it. Lots of Wholesalers in the back selling bulk goods. Get there early and check it out.

Webster Flea Market has been around for years. I had not been for over 20 years and was excited to return. It wasn’t the best day for going to the flea market, cloudy, cool and a heavy mist at times. We walked through the field area first, most of the items we found looked like they came from a garage sales, very few quality antiques and a lot of old junk. We then made out way through the vendor area that is under the permanent structures. Again, not a lot of quality antiques, just a lot of old stuff. If you were looking for vintage/retro kitchen tools you might find something. But nothing that I would call an antique. There were a number of vendors selling over stock items, etc… same stuff I could get at my local flea market or dollar store. We also went over to the east side, which was even more disappointing than the westside. The east side is where the farmers market is located, was one entire isle that was for the farmers market. There was a good selection but the prices and quality were comparable to what I would find at my local produce stand. The east side was full of vendors selling cheap stuff like sunglasses, hats, sheets, pillows, shoes… Again close out items that I could find at my local flea market. The best part of our visit was lunch at the restaurant located on the east side. I will leave a seperate review for the restaurant, but I will say it was some of the best homestyle cooking I have had in a long time. So if you are making the trip to Webster expecting a lot of great antiques and unique items you will probably be disappointed. If you live close by I would say the farmers market if great to have close by. I live about 80 miles from Webster and I will say that I won’t go out of my way to go again.

Disappointed that they are only open Mondays. Drove all the way out there just to find it closed on weekends :(

If this is not the worlds largest flea market it should be. This place is absolutely huge. We parked just off the main street in a lot that has golf cart shuttles. For $ 2 it’s a bargain. They have almost anything imaginable here for sale. Just a gigantic outdoor garage sale. They are open only on Monday from 8 – 2 but, it would take at least 3 days to cover everything there. Be prepared, wear comfortable shoes, take a drink, watch out for the rude old folks on scooters. They don’t care if they run over your toes or into your legs. It’s still a lot of fun so if you’re in the area you have

Okay okay I understand flea markets and some are better than other but folks don’t get overly excited about this giant garage sale. There isn’t any glamor here, here’s my take Pros –There are lots of people –It’s a great draw for the Businesses of Webster –It’s a great use of a field that would otherwise be void of anything –This junk isn’t listed on EBay –I experienced it so I don’t wonder about it anymore –I didn’t spend a nickel –There are lots of glassware –There are lots of guns Cons –Parking is $ 2.00 on one side and $ 3.00 on the other, what no valet –The food is fair food at best and doesn’t look very sanitary be careful –Not enough clean restrooms I didn’t stand in line but how clean can they be with the loads of people standing in line, by the close of business whew –Half is garage sell leftovers the other half is out of date overstock items. –Don’t expect bargains the prices are high and a lot of the vendors don’t deal. Sorry, if you are into this type of antiquing then give it a try and judge for yourself there are lots of better choices in my opinion. I did notice the most popular attire was Camo Green.

This is what a flea market should be. We enjoyed it all, vendors ready to bargain and lots of stuff to look at. Look for the«Park here for $ 2.00» sign and you are in the right location for restrooms and scooter rentals for those that need them. Wear your best walking shoes and enjoy. Just a short walk to the farmers market area.

I love this place. I shop here every single Monday morning at 0300 to do my wholesale shopping for my business. The non wholesalers come later on in the morning & so it gives me free time to walk around without a crowd pushing & shoving. I have been coming here for over 20 years now. This is the place for everyone to get really great deals on anything you can imagine. Lots of antiques, clothes, electronics, camping gear, you name it, it’s here.

Only open on Mondays, You should eat before you get there, there isn’t much in the way of food on the way there. You could always pickup carni-food at the flea market, they have a lot to choose from and prices are reasonable. This flea market is what all flea markets should be, it reminded me of the really great flea markets in NJ. They have a large outside garage sale type portion, with older antique thiings. I found a few items I had as a kid there, available for purchase. They also have a good sized amount of stuff under big tent like structures. This has a lot new items but also have old. I would advise sun tan lotion, or at least carry an umbrella. The sun is super hot there in the open, with little shade. I would suggest that you carry an umbrella even if you have sun lotion, you will have the sun beating down on you. Also get used to walking in slo-mode, there are an uncanny amount of old folks and old folks with walkers there that just stop and don’t seem to care about the others behind em. This is also true for the people that bring one year olds in strollers. I even saw one lady had a special dog carriage. It was a disturbing thing to see a dog in what was basically a baby carriage made for dogs that even had two bowls on it. We had about a 10 minute wait going there at 10:15 on the road near it. Also we left at what I think was 12:30 and it took us easily 20 – 30 minutes to get past the traffic light near state road 50. We only bought one item, for some reason we didn’t buy anything else. I think maybe because it was really hot and we tried to get thru fast. Also many items just didn’t have prices and really didn’t want to ask in the heat. Something odd happened while there both my kids had an itching rash on their hands while there, no idea where they got it. One reason we sped up to get out. We missed about 10% of the tables because the kids wanted to leave. But will go back when its a bit cooler.
