The place has a friendly country atmosphere that isn’t suffocating, cliché, or stereotypical. The service is excellent and it’s quiet, the food us great here I try something different every time I come here.

Supposedly a Southern Buffet but it lacks a lot of food mamma made! But it was pretty good. I tried the butter beans, Lima beans, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese… Cause I am a carbatarian when given the chance. Had a little of the pot roast too. The cornbread wasn’t that great. It tasted like buffet food for the most part. The peach cobbler was nice but no ice cream to top it off.

Other than the wait this was good Southern buffet. Food well prepared. Small salad bar and desserts. Vegetables were collards, beans, black eyes, rice, tomatoes and okra, beets and Mac and cheese. Famous for their fried chicken. On the flea market grounds. Clean.

The hubs and I decided to take a drive. I am so glad we did. The Farmer’s Market Restaurant is cozy. Between the booths and tables there are about 17 tables. The waitresses are friendly and the food is quite yum. The buffet is small but they pack a lot of food on there. Many veggies, a very nice selection of meat and there is a salad bar off to the side. It is rare when I can say the mashed potatoes are every bit as good as mine. The fried chicken was delicious as were the pork chops. Definitely get the Mac n Cheese! They had broiled fish on the buffet as well… I will try that when we come back. The hubs wished he started with the peach cobbler. If he had that is all he probably would have eaten though. Such a nice surprise to find in Sumter County– a really good spot for for fresh food and a really nice employees. Check this place out. I promise you will be glad you did

They close at 8pm so get there early. It has really great home cooked food, fresh from the nearby farms. Some of the options are country fried steak, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, collard greens, black eyed peas, yellow rice, chicken & dumplings, fried chicken, beef stew, pot roast, beets, salad, pea salad, potato salad, carrot salad, rolls, corn bread, watermelon, banana pudding, strawberry shortcake, lemon cake, marble/chocolate cake and red velvet cake. The buffet on the smaller side but the food has a lot of flavor & is really good. The supper buffet was $ 9.50 for adults & worth every penny. They also have a menu that you can order other items from. We will be back:-)
