Very knowledgable instructors. Crossfit has a reputation for being challenging but also reckless sometimes. Not here. They are very deliberate and safe while also being challenging. The classes are a lot of fun, especially the boot camp. Crossfit is the only workout I’ve ever done where I saw a big difference in my body, energy level and posture. Highly recommend this one.

This box is huge with awesome equipment and trainers. I have visited many boxes across the country and Crossfit Webster has the cleanest and most welcoming environment I have experienced.

I wish there were more stars that I can hand out. I have been ‘crossfitting’ for about 8 months now, and it all started with a groupon at Flower City Crossfit, and clearly, I loved it, cause I am still doing it. Crossfit Webster is owned by the same great folks who own and run Flower City Crossfit, and have therefore maintained the high standards we have come to expect. The gym itself is always pristine, well maintained, and well stocked with good quality equipment. The trainers are fantastic, and they really care, making the workout a fun activity, as opposed to a banal chore. If you want to work out without having to stare at dudes taking selfies looking at the vast array of mirrors, you really should try Crossfit Webster.

When I decided I needed to start working out, two of my friends from out of state said I needed to do CrossFit. I originally started with Flower City CrossFit. The owners decided to expand to CrossFit Webster. Since this location is closer to my home, I go here. I’ve been doing CrossFit with the owners and trainers for six months. Just prior, I had done Boot Camp with them to help acclimate me to the more difficult exercises in CrossFit. Some people stick with Boot Camp. I decided I needed the extra push in CrossFit. I’ve never been athletic; I’ve never played any sports, so this level of effort and difficulty was new to me. When you see CrossFit classes, they appear intimidating to those who have never been athletes. They do lifts that are hard, and in numbers that seem impossible to deal with. I started out at the bottom; for example, I could only do a few push-ups with proper form. I struggled, kept with it, and things slowly changed. I dropped fat and gained muscle. I am happier, and don’t feel lethargic like I did. I sleep better. I have more confidence. It is no exaggeration to say this changed my life. The best part are the people. The trainers are knowledgable and encouraging. It doesn’t matter where you start, they just want to see you get better. Having trainers and classmates cheer me on took getting used to, because I’m used to being heckled from my days in gym class at school. I’ve made many new friends who have helped me in other parts of my life, too. When I started, I did have reservations about the cost. If you are happy with a membership to the gym, that’s fine. But the advice and attention I’ve received has been on par with a personal trainer, and my growth has been noticed by family and friends alike. My classmates are great to be with. I’ve been so happy that I upgraded my membership from three days a week to unlimited. If you’re looking for an encouraging environment to grow in, I would strongly recommend you try Flower City CrossFit or CrossFit Webster.
