This place is hit or miss. The menu is great, but there are some items that don’t make sense. Like why sell a loaded baked potato that comes out plain with all the toppings in different cups? How can you not have butter other than the rock hard packets?! That is way too much work for a potato! My mom got a turkey Cobb salad and there was deli meat on it and very little at that. My dad was looking forward to a good burger but instead he got an over cooked dry burger with great toppings.
I find it better to stick with their chicken dishes which are all delicious! The tables can use a better wiping down but other than that it’s still a good enough place to visit every once in a while.

After a very long day at Memorial Hermann Hospital, this was the perfect spot to refill, refresh and just catch our breath.

Havent been here in a looong time. I dont know why because it’s clean, relatively fast, and they have free olives! I had the roast beef sandwich with delicious fresh fruit as a side. The sandwich was huge, but i ate it all. I sat outdoors on a beautiful «winter» day and totally enjoyed myself. I will return soon!

The prices are good and there are a lot of choices of salads, sandwiches and hot entrees like pasta.
I had a veggie chef salad with salmon and my +1 had the shrimp and avocado salad. Mine was between OK and good. Nothing too special. I feel like there were lots of ingredients listed on the menu but I did not get as many in my salad!
The inside kind of looks like a cafeteria but other than that, it’s a pretty laid back place so I’d stop by again for the convient spot & many options that you can customize.

This is a super cute place with a nice open concept floorplan. The atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing which I enjoyed tremendously. The staff was super friendly and since it was my first time, they were greatly helpful with my decision on what to order. My order came out quickly and tasted wonderful. At the beverage station I was happy to see the fresh mint along with the lemons and limes to add to your drink. I LOVE fresh mint! I totally loved my visit at Café Express and I will definitely be back!

This place is super cute and very spacious. The food is delicious for breakfast and have plenty of seating inside and out. They have this amazing red jalapeño mango sauce that you must try. Much better than the hot sauce that comes with some of the breakfast food. Overall, great experience and I will definitely be back!

We were out shopping with our daughter and her friend a decided to stop here for a late dinner.
My wife and I had burgers which were decent though nothing to brag about.
My daughters friend had alfredo past which, given the portion size, was waay overpriced.
My daughter wasn’t terribly hungry and only wanted a bowl of plain pasta. This completely threw the cashier and the computer for a loop as they had no provision for such a request. In the end, we were made to pay full price as if we got a sauced and dressed plate. We were told that the manager wouldn’t discount the meal at all.
Given this issue and the fact that we we generally underwhelmed as a whole, we shall not return here.
There are many, better places out there.

I was so disappointed when I came I to café express today. The tables were dirty and sticky. I got the gusto Italiano and it sucked. Who ever made the sand which put the meat on one side of the bread and veggies on the other side. That’s not how you make a sandwich. The bowl of fruit I got was hot and dirty. The only good thing about this meal was the ice tea.

We have been here for lunch and I can say I was very pleased with it cheap filling and delicious. Decided to try it out for breakfast we ordered 3 french toast and 1 kids breakfast simple eggs, bacon, and fruit. Which my niece enjoyed because of course you really can’t go wrong with that. French Toast on the other hand were kind of gross looking and I know it wasn’t me because neither my sister or my kid liked it and I know 3 people can’t be wrong. It looked nothing like the picture I was three little mushy balls of bread with hardly any fruit. It was served with a buttered drench caramel which looked disgusting and wasn’t good. Heck they could have at least thrown some syrup with it. So while we were disappointed with this breakfast they were kind enough to refund our money and we just ended up going elsewhere to eat. I’m sure there other breakfast selections are a little better but I don’t think I’ll be trying it out anytime soon.

I enjoy Café Express monthly. It’s a great place to stop in and get a soup and sandwich. I usually get the BLT with fries and my husband gets their panini or pasta. I’ve never been for breakfast and each time I go I always say we need to try them out. I’m going to make it a point to do that soon.
They have a decent variety of sandwiches, salads, burgers, pastas. .something for everyone.

Despite the time I came the food was fresh. It was warm but not right out of the oven hot. The food was good. It usually is here. The service today was a little lacking. No one really smiling. One of the managers took my order. He was not very friendly. When I asked for an extra condiment he said sure then turned around and stared into the kitchen. Then turned back around to see me still standing there and was like oh yeah your extra… I come here often and like I said food was great. So only 3 stars because there were no friendly faces.

I just had a quick dinner at this location… food was actually pretty good. We had the shrimp pasta and a grilled chicken salad. My boyfriend actually enjoyed his limeade. We also ordered a couple of desserts. The place was a bit empty, but the wait staff were nice folks. The young lady who took our order was also really sweet. I did take issue with the beverages… not a fan of black currant tea or Pepsi products. I also felt like the lemons and mint were not quite stored in sanitary conditions. I also thought the value of food was a bit pricey. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience. I think I will revisit for lunch during the summer months as I think they have great light fare options.

I’d imagine that those are the buzz words they were going for when they came up with the name «Café Express.» Most people love fast-​casual these days, and while it’s not my favorite, my wallet would thank me for choosing that type of option more often.
My family hyped up the french toast here for months before my last visit, and to be honest, my thought at the first bite was, «they need to eat french toast more often.»
That being said, it was tasty, just over-​hyped. Not the fault of Café Express, but rather my family comparing it to finding a winning Powerball ticket.
I have enjoyed my experiences here, but I’d like winning 112 million dollars more.

We come here often. It’s always a cleanse to the palate. Healthy delicious food that is not extremely expensive. I always get the guacamole and salsa as my meal and a cup of potato soup. Frank usually always gets the shrimp and avocado salad. Yummy. They have a bar for additions to your meal. Olives, croutons, sun dried tomatoes, etc. I recommend Café Express for any age. Last tip: cranberry muffins. All desserts are made fresh daily. There is a reason these sell out early. I forgot to call ahead and reserve one. No muffin tonight. But the pecan tarts are just as great.

Was initially sceptical about returning to this location for another dining experience, but after the GM (Jason) contacted me and followed through on the company’s mission of Great Food, Great SERVICE Always. I felt obligated to give the eatery a second chance and was happy that I did. My wife and I had the grilled Salmon and shared a muffin along with two teas. The fish was well prepared and the presentation added to enjoying the meal. We enjoyed our entire meal that included a friendly and attentive staff as well as a clean establishment. Thank you Café Express for truly showing that you value your customers. No longer a skeptic, but now a fan.

I love this café express location. I would have to say everything here is fresh and delicious except for the fruits. I am disappointed that the fruits here are not fresh ESP during this summer season when we have so much fruits to choose from. I have to say I love the at they have mint and lemon near the beverages. I love added fresh lemon and mint to my ice cold water. The staff here are very nice and the location is very clean and roomy. My two fav things to eat here are the turkey club (I add a few pickles to my plate from the bar to go with this dish) and chicken pesto.

I love Café Express. I have never had a bad experience when I’ve come here. I’ve had the brunch, lunch, and dinner, and never was I disappointed with what I ordered.
I like the island in the middle with the extras you can help yourself to. I came here for lunch one time to work on a project with a friend and was happy to discover electrical plugs underneath the booth seating for our laptops.
Good food for a good price!
Only complaint– wish they published their nutrional information online. I assume the ingredients are mostly fresh, but I’m curious how much fat and calories are in the some of their sauces, dressings, etc.
