Did you know that you can buy phone batteries from this place? And they have a guarantee warranty on them for almost life?
After talking to the sales associate, which was on point by the way, I am sold that if I ever need a battery for anything I am coming here or to one of these stores. Not only did the associate answer everyone of my questions about batteries but he was even giving me comparisons to other places about prices and warranties. I was blown away with the knowledge that this associate had in his head. I felt bad that I didn’t get my car battery from this place knowing I could of got a better deal. Definitely will be back.

I went in for batteries for my key fobs for my vehicle. They tested the batteries and told me they were still good — then he went the extra step and adjusted the terminals. I left there with both key fobs working! Nice guys — I will be back next time I have a need :)

I visited Batteries Plus after a small 3V lithium ion went out in in a piece of equipment I use for work. I checked Amazon and the aftermarket replacement was $ 6 plus $ 3 shipping. I decided to patronize a local business.
Now I get it, I’m getting convenience and paying for some expertise at the store. I thought maybe this $ 6 battery would maybe $ 12 before tax.
Imagine my surprise when the salesperson found a similar aftermarket replacement on the rack and happily announced «It’s $ 45!!»
I hope it didn’t come across as rude, but I couldn’t help but burst out in laughter. Sorry, no convenience is worth a 700% markup.

Great store! I discovered Batteries Plus earlier this year out in Creve Coeur and immediately look for one closer to home. I love the fact that they recycle batteries and light bulbs for you. Which helps protect our environment, something to keep in mind as Earth Day approaches.
This store is older then the West County store, but that gives it some rustic charm. However, the customer service is the same having a knowledgeable and friendly staff.
This is my store of choice for batteries and light bulbs.

I purchased a car battery at this business in April 2009. The battery was fine up until winter when I started to notice that the battery was getting weak. By October of 2010 the battery would not hold a charge for more than 4 – 5 days unless i drove the car daily, which I do not as we are retired and pretty much use only one car now. I returned the battery to the store, under their full replacement warranty, and was told that «there is nothing wrong with this battery, the problem may be in the car and draining it.» My auto mechanic however had a much different opinion. He laughed when I told him about taking it back and said «2 bad cells does not make a good battery» Needless to say, I have purchased a new battery from a different retailer and will NEVER purchase anything from this retailer again.

In 5 minutes and $ 8.99 later, I had my answer. I know it is minor, and I may love them because they are in the neighborhood, but, these folks are great. No matter what the gadget, they have the juice. And, when it comes to my watch collection (no, I did not say obsession) I like to keep things running. So, don’t just blow past the Batteries Plus near you, check it out, especially if you are running late!
