I’ve been going here for a few years now. The place is consistent from food to service. The breakfast is very down home without too much flair. Think your grandmother making you breakfast as a kid. However it is good and I rarely have a bad meal. The omelets are always good as is the French toast. The coffee is fantastic and they do a great job coming by often to fill you up. The staff is sometimes very unfriendly. They do not always acknowledge you, especially if you are not a local. If I could change anything it would be getting a staff that appreciates the customer.

This is my first visit. Although we were here first, the waitress took the order of three tables of regulars first(One before he even sat down). I would skip this place if you’re not a local. Thumbs down. I would have given zero stars if it were possible.

I’m all for supporting local, but I’ve hit my limit on the bad or even non-existent greeting and attitude from everyone who works at Beanhaven including ownership. The food is average at best, and consistently inconsistent. I feel bad but after years of being locally faithful in hopes of being wowed with some really good coffee and breakfast food, today is the last time I’m going to be let down.

Southwest Benedict is off the hook good. Service has always been in check. A nice option in Deephaven. The go to place for breakfast… Doing it right.

What a neighborhood gem! The breakfast was awesome! We had omelets with yummy potatoes, and fresh choices of bread. My daughter had the most amazing cinnamon roll. Next time, I may have to try the captain crunch French toast! The coffee and lattes were excellent. They had a nice assortment of teas too. The lunch is soups and sandwiches, and based upon breakfast we will be back. The service was excellent and with a smile! Perfect Sundayfunday spot!

Great neighborhood spot. Food is excellent and service is freindly. The have the usual assortment of salads and sandwiches but the egg dishes are the best. Try the southwestern eggs benedict. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is its a little pricey for diner food.

Another little gem in my neighborhood! Located in the business district of Deephaven. I have been here several time for breakfast and have never been disappointed. The portions are generous and the ingredients are unique and fresh. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, however its pretty cozy. There are a few bistro tables located outside for summer dining. Only open for breakfast and lunch. I believe they close at 2:00pm daily.

Never been treated so poorly. Walked in on a Sat AM and sat at an open table.(10 total tables in the place).the waitress looked at us and decided to not stop at our table for 10 min. Had to flag her down as she snipped«your suppose to wait I be seated»…punitively. Unreal. Place dosent care about new business. I was excited to eat there, now I will tell everyone how nasty my experience.

This place was fanastic. We went here for a breakfast before a wedding in Wayzata. I’m trying to remember exactly what the fluke thing on the menu was for breakfast, but it was something like captain crunch pancakes. Sounded amazing, I had the hollandaise, it was also very good. Well worth a stop. It’s oddly located in a strip mall.

Love this place. Need I say more? Great service, great food… We used to eat here for lunch quite a bit and it was amazing. I always got the sandwich that was a twist on a BLT, with the egg on it? So delicious. I can’t wait to get back to MN so I can stop back at this joint. :)
