I have family in the area and have eaten there several times and the food was acceptable. The last time we went however no one out of our party of six could even eat our food. Those who got burgers, the bread was stale and the meat was cold. That was after waiting an excessively long time for our food. It was the worst meal I have had to pay for in years!!!

This place has AMAZING yeast rolls. That’s kind of bad because they are not a bakery. Instead, www call themselves a steakhouse. I have eaten rib eye steaks almost 40 years and the 9 ounce was the worst excuse for a steak of any kind I’ve ever had. The tea and lemonade were OK. We were never given the option for refills, except as an afterthought for a possible dessert add on. Our server moved quickly only after she had been asked for the check. In fact, the steak was so bad, for the first time, I shot a picture of the sorry thing.

So I decided to get this place another chance, and was disappointed. Each time I have gone here I have had various levels of service and various bland tasting food. The service this time was at best OK. Our server took extremely long periods of time in order to get alcohol and couldn’t seem to remember to get small things such as sour cream for the baked potato, ranch, and alcohol. The only thing that would keep me coming back is The fact that whatever I ordered there will be filling but not excellent. What makes up for the lack of tasting food is the price. It’s cheap. I will say the bartender does know how to make a mean Long Island Ice tea.

The only reason this place has any business is because of its location in a high traffic area. This food is absolutely terrible! It doesn’t get much worse although they continue to excel in being horrible. I don’t understand why the people of haywood county settle for such mediocre food and service but it’s time someone set the bar a little higher and raise the standard around here. I don’t mean to be harsh but you guys suck.

Except for the yeast rolls, which our party agreed were possibly the best any of us have ever tasted, this was one of the worst dining experiences ever. Our steak tips were overcooked, cold, and missing the peppers and onions they were supposed to include. The«back by popular demand» green beans were mushy and tasteless. When our server finally did bring the missing peppers and onions, it was about a half cup’s worth – which was supposed to be for two of us. We will not eat here again.

Server was very attentive and made for a pleasant meal. The ribeye I had was cooked exactly like I ordered, a little more fat than normal but it was still very good. I have eaten at this one several times and this was overall the best so far. I understand they have new management and the server was very complimentary of how they are making an effort to improve the food and service.

Don’t order the NEW Southwest salad. No one has explained to the cook what is advertised on the menu. There was no cilantro, no Southwest veggies, and no fresh avocado. The waitress explained the avocado on the salad just came out of a pre-sealed package. It seems the restaurant doesn’t even have fresh avocados on the premises. It was just a nice overpriced green salad with chicken.

Server was friendly. Food was good. Would have been better hot. Server takes your order, another delivers. No trays? They carry two drinks at a time. Two plates at a time. Everything was barely warm.

In 42 years I have never left an establishment until tonight. After waiting over an hour for a BURGER! Will never return!!!

how disappointing– the food was fair, presentation fair, service ok, but as a former favorite restaurant, we no longer go there

The food was ok, not particularly good or bad. Service was the same. Our waitress was good but we could hear other servers b complaining about customwrs, arguing with each other, etc. In terms of quality and atmosphere, I’d probably spend my money somewhere else.

Most tender, butter soft, flavorful prime rib I’ve had in a long time! Medium rare cooked to perfection.

Service was good. Food is terrible. Had to send back a medium steak twice — once well done, once honestly RARE. Redone steak had zero seasoning. Mac and cheese would be better if they used the kraft kind out of the box. Shrimp overcooked. HUGE waste of money. Really disappointing across the board.

Friendly service but this place is maybe a step up from the Western Sizzler. IF you are in the mood for a cheap piece of meat(price and quality) you are in luck.

Pretty good food most of the time, great burgers, service can be a little lacking, but not a bad place to eat.

Folks– the peanuts are gone. You cannot get messy at your table any more. And yes, the place has had a facelift, but all that old school cowboy, charming ambiance is gone. In other words– it now feels like a church. Servers are O.K., sometimes they listen, sometimes they don’t. Sides and desserts are terrible. Prices are not. Tables have never been dirty, at least not for the last seven years. Friendly host, if you get the tall guy with black hair. Get your kicks somewhere else if possible.

Service was extremely speedy! Food tasted fresh and delicious! Prices were reasonable. Our appetizer got to the table so fast the server was even surprised. The table next to us got a steak that was over cooked and the replacement got to them in about 5 minutes! As far as flavor goes, we devoured everything that was put in front of us. The portions were a good size, not too big and not too small.

Well, what a nice surprise. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to the ‘Brush. Because, years ago, things were more than a little rough around the edges. But, somewhere along the way, Sagebrush Steakhouse grabbed hold of the reins and tightened up. To begin with, Sagebrush has had a facelift. Everything is a little lighter, brighter and(most importantly) CLEAN. Sticky tables are a thing of the past. And the cowboy tchotchkes are completely dust free. Yee-Haw! Also much improved is the menu. Sagebrush still serves up steaks and sandwiches, but now with an assortment of tasty rustic sides including mashed potatoes, Texas slaw, sweet potato casserole, smokehouse pintos, collards and more. Not to be missed: the Double Bleu Iceburg Wedge Salad(yumtastical) and the Garlic Cheese Biscuits(melts in your mouth) To try: Chicken Fried Steak(wow) Miss: the Onion Strings(a bit salty) Scoring three stars here because service could have been a little more«on it.» See you there!

Not sure if they can handle a large crowd. I ordered a salad it came out freezing and the lettuce tasted like a frozen brick of ice. Over the meal it eventually became a bowl of salad soup. Some of the people I was eating with also got sick from the chicken.

Sagebrush is a convenient, children-friendly dining establishment with all the peanuts in the shell you can eat, sandwiches, steaks, and everything in between with sides of collards, cole slaw, to name a smidgeon of what they offer to go with your meal. It’s a nice place to get a casual meal or snack, but not necessarily ‘fine’ dining. Very friendly staff. Video from dinner last night(08÷17÷09). Will give you the ‘flavor.’
