We only had breakfast here for the two mornings we were staying. The only complaints involved the omelet bar. On the first morning was staffed by a young man that was clearly out of place and wound up with a long line because of it.
On the second morning the very competent young lady was keeping up just fine but undercooked my eggs a bit. Admittedly it seems to be very hard to get a decent egg cooked over medium.
Other than what I noted the food was excellent and the service was very good. The view in the morning when eating on the outside patio was wonderful.

Steaks are decent… not memorable. Love the dining room atmosphere… that with one rating it is ranked best in town is laughable. Not even close.

I was on a business trip and stayed at this beautiful mountain retreat with this fantastic restaurant.
I began with the smoked sunburst trout appetizer. It was light and fresh with a wonderful smoky flavor. My entrée was the Niman Ranch pork chop. It was grilled perfectly and the cinnamon apple and mushroom accompaniment was the highlight of the night.
The Cork & Cleaver will be on my list of top restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I’ll be back!
