I know I shouldn’t, but I like Taco Bell… snub me, I don’t care-it’s quick, it fills you up, and it tastes good. Except here at this location it’s slow, it didn’t fill me up, and it was… meh. So let’s see, it’s Christmas rush, mall is packed with thousands of people, food court is slammed at 2pm and you have 1 cashier and 2 cooks. Fast food? I don’t think so. I’m pretty easy at Taco Bell, usually I will order a Burrito Supreme, a soft taco supreme and a crunchy taco supreme. It’s basic, but it gets the job done. Today I skipped the soft taco because it was already 2 and even though I skipped breakfast, I was having a fairly early dinner. What I got was the smallest burrito supreme I’ve ever had… and a crunchy taco that was broken before I picked it up(and the sour cream was just on one side). Disappointing from a service and QC standpoint. There should never be anything but consistency in the portions at a place like this. There should also never be a wait time like this in ANY Taco Bell, but especially in a mall Taco Bell. So many other options here that I’m pretty sure I’m done with this place.

Anyone who knows me should know that Taco Bell is my favorite restaurant, and of the food court selections, if you don’t try the more exotic Asian chicken places, then Taco Bell is your best bet. But this Taco Bell stand isn’t as good as the dedicated Taco Bell established. First of all, compared to all the other places, Taco Bell has one of the longest waits. You can realistically expect to wait 5 minutes for your food, which is slow by fast food standards. Second, the prices are a bit higher here. Every item is 50 cents to a dollar higher in price, which takes away one of Taco Bell’s greatest merits, it’s affordability. So, overall, it’s a good place. But it had to make some compromises to fit inside a mall.
