Sephora is my happy go to place for makeup and skin care, but I have to say, today’s visit was pretty SAD! First off, I went there to purchase the newest NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation, but I was very disappointed to find out they ran out of the color that best matched my skin tone, AND they didn’t even have a tester! Who does the inventory at this store, and how does a store«run out» of a NEW makeup product and not even have a tester!!! The staff member«helping» me seemed rude, impatient and uninterested. She picked out another foundation for me but when I kept asking her questions about the product vs. other products, she seemed very irritated. When I asked her how does the foundation hold up in humidity, she seemed very confused and replied, «humidity as in somewhere hot?» Umm, no, humidity as in the negative temperatures outdoors right now! REALLY!!! After a few more minutes of contemplating which product I should get, she abruptly asked me if there was anything else she could help me with(in an almost sarcastic tone), after clearly seeing that I may still need more help. Truthfully, I had no desire to want her help anymore. I ended up looking for a concealer on my own, and left, unhappy. I would have liked to buy a new lipstick, and maybe a few other products, but her customer service skills was just plain awful and uninviting.

I love sephora but this one is seriously depressing. I went to look for a new eyeliner and pretty much every sample out on the floor was dried up, chewed up, or missing… the staff member helping me pretty much was going around trying to show me some of their products and ending up giving an excuse for every single product that was either misplaced or not functioning.

I love sephora! This particular sephora is very friendly, helpful and(most importantly) patient. The Staff is ready to help and recommend certain products that might be beneficial to the consumer. They have a wide selection of products to meet your needs. Granted the products are pricey but you’re paying for quality products. Plus, they offer samples and a great points system for free deluxe samples!

I tend to gravitate to this Sephora more than the one that is located near my house. I find that the staff is much more helpful. I had a very nice young woman assist me for a while in selecting some«new and refreshing» scents. She must of spent a good 15 minutes with me. My only 2 gripes are: 1. For a small bottle of cologne, be prepared to pay $ 60+, all in the name of smelling good(not their fault but a gripe nonetheless) 2. Checking out when no one is on line gets confusing because generally there is no one there to ring you up. Otherwise I am always pleased with my selections and the service they provide. Plus you can build up points for free gifts and when it’s your birthday they give you some free stuff. A bonus is you can ask for samples of any cologne/perfumes.
