Great fresh food, very delicious! Only issue was that the owner ran out begging for a larger tip. So embarassing… NEVERGOINGTHEREAGAIN.

I’ve only had take-out(several times) and noticed fish is very fresh and delicious. I am looking forward to actually eating at the restaurant and like that it’s BYOB. There is a new wine store next to Trade Joe’s that will make it super convenient. So glad there is a great sushi restaurant in Wayne, NJ!!!

This is definitely my go-to sushi restaurant. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. They are a little pricy, but their lunch special(2 rolls, soup, salad, fruit, and appetizer for around $ 15) is the best deal around.

They have the best menu(Not that pricey) for anyone who loves sushi! Between the variety of sushi rolls and the amount that comes with a meal, this place is the best go to restaurant! It is extremely tidy along with an excellent staff that waits on your every needs. I am the biggest fan of all that is mango. Mango roll, Mango Shrimp, and the Mango Spider(fried shrimp and fried crab in a rice roll with a grilled? mango on top in this amazing sweet sauce) are my classics and go to choices when i truly do not know what i want. They have this boat for the bigger parties that has A LOT of varieties on it along with anything you want to add(for an additional cost of course). I highly recommend this place to my Sushi lovers and if you don’t want a sit down meal, take out is the best way to go!

DONOTEATHERE!!! I don’t understand why there are so many good reviews for this place! I ordered a tuna avocado roll and salmon avocado roll from this place because the other sushi place I go to was closed on Sunday’s. BIGGESTMISTAKEEVER!!! The sushi wasn’t very good and I eventually got sick from eating it. Do yourself a favor and go to a different sushi restaurant.

The sushi was really good! Very fresh tasting especially compared to a lot of places I’ve had. Lunch deals weren’t expensive however rolls on their own are pretty pricy. I definitely suggest getting one of the lunch specials to keep the bill down. Also only get hot green tea. Iced doesn’t work out as you’d expect.

Delicious Sushi, Fantastic Service! We come to Nori Sushi for date night about twice a month. Carmen and Maria run the restaurant and are always happy to see us. Angel and Helen have half of our order memorized, and greet us like old friends. The sushi and sashimi are always fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully arranged. There are some interesting sashimi fusion appetizers as well. Our teenage children also love the restaurant, and the entire staff makes our family or any friends we bring feel welcome. The restaurant is BYO. Reservations are a plus on busier nights. They also seem to have a robust take-out business as well. WELOVENORI!

Nori has always been one of our favorite sushi places. Krazy big, snoopy and special eel are our favorites. Nice décor and friendly staff. Byob. Prices are on par with most sushi places. Only 4 stars cause they charged me extra for spicy mayo when I asked for some :(

Simple, intimate place with good sushi. We tried a number of rolls and really enjoyed them all. Worth a try for lunch or dinner!

Ate here a couple of times and all times, food was fantastical. It is a BYOB, which I am a SUPERFAN of. Sushi was fresh and their pan-fried dumplings were awesome! They also have the wee little bowl of crispy chips and for some reason you can’t just eat one. The Soprano stuff I don’t care much for, but there is alot of Soprano schwag when you enter the establishment. Definitely a YES to go eat for dinner and heard the lunch is awesome too!

Good sushi, but overly expensive prices. Staff isn’t as friendly or warm as my go-to sushi restaurant, and they’re closed mid-day, which is weird for this area.

The service is good and food presentation was nice. Miso soup was good, the salad was typical iceberg leaves with one slice of tomato and cucumber on top… Ginger salad dressing was not the best and was more of a creamy dressing than ginger dressing… Unfortunately, I can’t say a lot of positives for the sushi… We ordered the love boat, but the rice was dry, hardly any rice vinegar in the rice for sushi or the rolls, no wasabi between the bed of rice and the fish for the sushi… So the rolls and the sushi kept falling apart and we’re not very flavorful… Sashimi was cut very thick — I love my raw fish, but these slices were pretty chunky… A sushi lover knows that flavorful rice is a number one ingredient and there was definitely a miss there tonight… So in all, we were full, but not satisfied with the meal…

Had the lunch special with spicy tuna, spicy crab & tuna avocado. I was completely disappointed at the taste & quality. The spicy crab was soaked in a watery pink mayonnaise –the spicy tuna was bright orange & processed & the tuna in the tuna avocado roll was white colored & tasted so bad that I threw it away. Most sushi these days, even in the grocery store, is pretty good so I was shocked that this could be so bad.

Food is somewhat overpriced. Restaurant is kind of dark inside. Food was ok, but not my cup of tea.

Calling all Soprano fans! I know this doesn’t matter to everyone but this was a landmark restaurant in the Sopranos and Nori is proud of it! When you walk in, there’s a ton of pictures of the cast showcased on the walls. I absolutely love this, as Sopranos is my favorite series of all time. Ok, now on to what’s more important, the food. You’re started off with a basket with warm towels to clean your hands and a basket of some type of flavored chips(they are delicious). Even though the warm towels is a small gesture, it goes a long way. I think its a great touch and makes the customer happy(it worked on me anyway). My sister and I started off with the fried Gyoza filled with pork. You get six little dumplings in a serving and its a perfect appetizer to start with. You do not have to get these fried, steamed Gyoza is also an option. I do believe you can do a fish and/or vegetarian style as well if you’re not into pork. They were very tasteful and hit the spot. I have to say I have had more meaty and bigger pork Gyoza at other sushi restaurants but these were still good and that’s all that matters. Sushi: My sister and I shared three exotic rolls, I posted a picture of the exotic rolls list, as I believe you cannot find it online(FYI no prices are listed on the menu). See below for details of each roll I had. Krazy Big Roll: Tuna, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, tobiko and scallions. This roll had a nice kick to it, really opened up your airways. I enjoyed it very much. Side note, didn’t really taste the scallions. Sexy Roll: Kani, avocado, tobiko, Fresh tuna, spicy sauce. This roll was also on the spicy side, moderate bite sizes and was scrumptious. Red Dragon: King crab, tuna, avocado, tobiko, special sauce. This roll was the largest out of the three… it also had some type of crunch on the top of it(which I liked). Overall it was good but it was my least favorite(I’m starting to think king crab on sushi just isn’t my preference)…but either way, it was still enjoyable. The sushi at Nori is just really fresh, which is why I enjoy it. Also, the staff is super attentive and the atmosphere is cozy and delightful. The prices are in line with other sushi places, so you are definitely not spending more than you would expect to spend. Two of the rolls were $ 13 and one was $ 14, cant remember the specifics of which roll was which price. At the end of the meal you are served fresh orange slices(neither my sister or I like oranges so we passed up on this) but it was still a nice thought. I love Nori and any chance I get, I will come here for more sushi!

I was invited for a colleague’s farewell lunch & did not expect much but as I walked in the foyer I saw a wall full of pictures of The Sopranos.(They filmed there for one of the seasons.) I was immediately surprised and thought to myself this was gonna be something different. And… I was not disappointed. I ordered the $ 15 lunch special. I started off with a fresh salad with a creamy ginger dressing, I continued with a bowl of miso soup and finished off with the two rolls I chose: the Zen Zen(a veggie roll with seaweed) and the Caribbean roll which is the best sushi roll I’ve had in a long time. It had tuna, a fried banana on top with crushed peanuts and a sauce drizzled on top among other ingredients. It was an explosion of flavors in my mouth that I can’t explain. I will definitely be going back, and hey if the Boss, Tony Soprano, liked it, it has to be good!

I’ve been here on several different occasions and I’ve always had a good experience. Fresh sushi, byob, and friendly service. You can easily drive right by it b/c its in a strip mall, but make sure you try this place out. I’ve never had bad sushi here, so whatever you try, i’m sure you will enjoy! BYOB!

This is by far the best sushi restaurant I have been to, including trying many places in NYC and Washington D.C. as well. Always a very friendly staff, my experiences here have never disappointed. I would recommend the Caribbean, the snoopy and the dumbo. All have great toppings and the fish is always very fresh!
