Tom’s Mac & Cheese

Literally greatest Mac n cheese you’ll eat in a long time. I don’t even like Mac n cheese that much and I LOVED this. It’s so cute too-​a little orange food truck and the nicest little old man serving you.
He only serves one size (which is more than enough) of Mac n cheese for 5 bucks and then you can buy his homemade lemonade or some water. I found him in the middle of shoppers world in Framingham near DSW. Go check it out for sure and support our few local food trucks we have around here.

Two stars for the baseline offering, but that’s it. The M&C itself is just okay, I’ve had better both on the low-​end microwave side, and definitely on the more gourmet side. Normally I’d be in a 3-​star range, but I had a fairly crappy experience the one and only time I went. While waiting for the food, the owner — apropos of absolutely nothing — launched into a diatribe about Wayland’s water supply, which immediately turned political — and nasty. I got the standard size of mac and cheese, and an extra large side of vitriol for no additional cost! He has every right to do what he did as a private business owner, and I have the same right to just not go back.

Amazing mac & cheese. But only eat one serving. Two portions are too rich, though the idea is very appealing… Friendly owner/​proprietor.

I stop in for this Mac and cheese whenever I am home. I absolutely love it and it is worth the drive to the other side of town. The mac and cheese is creamy and amazing and the pasta he uses is amazing. If you are ever in Wayland you have to try this little cart you won’t regret it! The guy who sells it is extremely friendly as well!

The Mac & Cheese here is absolutely fantastic, but even with the incredibly high quality ingredients used, it’s never easy to swallow the idea of $ 7 mac & cheese served out of a cart. Definitely go there for an occasional splurge — but don’t get hooked or you’ll go broke :)
