Went here today to have a fill/color change done and I am not happy! They advertise a 15% off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I figured it would be a good opportunity to try somewhere different. I went in as a walk-in because their advertising outside specifically says walk-ins welcome and my time during the week is limited; however I was not very welcome it seemed. I needed to have a set of nails shortened, and the color changed. I waited for close to 30 minutes before they started shuffling me between techs; and the woman who did my nails was more interested in selling me a brand of acrylic than using said brand on my nails. It took close to 2 hours to do a basic pink/white set, and I ended up burned and cut with the nail drill on several fingers on both hands. I will not be back, they are not the best in Ellis County!

I’ve been to all the nail salons in Waxahachie and this is by far my favorite. That’s probably why they were voted best nail salon in Ellis County.

Pearl Nails is my go-to nail salon. I’ve tried a few other places in Waxahachie and they were horrible. I stumbled upon Pearl Nails by chance while I was at Subway next door. I decided to give them a try and I haven’t been anywhere else since. The salon is clean, well kept, and most importantly it’s affordable. Lucy is the best that Pearl Nails has to offer! I’ve been going to her since 2011 I don’t recommend anyone else. Lucy really takes her time and puts a great amount of detail into perfecting my pedicures and manicures. And, she also does amazing nail art! I’ve gotten my nails done with the other nail techs on Lucy’s off days, and while it wasn’t horrible, it just wasn’t the same. Most of the customers are regulars who have been coming in for years. The staff knows everyone by name and truly value their clients. But because there are so many regulars, don’t be surprised if there’s a wait. I usually try to come during the least busiest hours on Saturdays, like late morning or early afternoons when there’s no wait. But just beware and steer clear of Prom season. It gets crazy in there! As far as price goes, the most I’ve ever paid for a french-tip mani/pedi with nail art is $ 45, which is about average for DFW. To me, they are very affordable and upfront about costs. It’s the additional services(paraffin wax, french tip, nail art/designs, gel, etc.) that can add up if you’re not clear about your needs.
