A local favorite for the relaxed, pub atmosphere, beer selection, and comfort food. The hubs and I are not beer drinkers, so that part was lost on us.
Highlights-​curry chicken salad, fish and chips, and bloody mary bar, cool owners working behind the bar (their kids /​grandkids pop in – so sweet)
Lowlights-​super crowded at lunch and after work, small dining area, the french burger (I may get my «Waxahachie card» taken away for saying that!)
In the incredibly un-​descriptive words of my young adult kids, «It is what it is»…uh, ok.

This is one of our favorite hangouts. Food is awesome and the drinks are fresh and cold. The service is always friendly and fast. Perfect for patio weather or date night!

Love this local haunt. Sassy service with a smile, quality made from scratch menu items… it’s a Waxahachie favorite. The French burger is AMAZING. And they’ve got a great big patio out back. Kitchen is small, so sometimes the food wait time gets a little long… but it’s always been worth it.

Absolutely love this place, doesn’t matter what you get you won’t be disappointed! Cheese Fries, Fried Pickles, sandwich or salad! I will keep going and share with others!

The food is good (the mushroom/​swiss burger) and the beer selection typical of a good pub.
Even though they close at 10pm. the kitchen stops preparing food at 8:45pm. and by 9:15pm. the staff breaks out the bleach and mop bucket. At 9:30pm. the lights are flicked on and goodbyes/don’t let the door hit you on the way out is not stated but made more than clear.
Shame. We would have bought a few more drinks and another round of noshing bits.
So don’t plan on catching up with friends to closing time.

It does get crowded during lunch and after work, so plan accordingly.
I especially like the french burger and the fish and chips.
Minus ½ star for small size and crowded together tables, minus ½ star for being out of my favorite beer both times I went visited.. .

Our favorite stop when in town to visit HEB. $ 4 Bloody Mary bar. Several local craft beers on tap. Food is solid. Try the French Burger!

Great food! The French Burger is awesome. The atmosphere is cool and the staff is very friendly.
