Absolutely fantastic food here. They’re Sopes are absolutely wonderful and so are the enchiladas. I can’t seem to try anything else on the menu because these two are just so awesome but my friends that I come with do and everything they have had I’ve always had a taste of and it’s just fantastic.

Excellent food. Friendly service. Love the homemade salsa. I’ll return. Oh, nothing fancy but the best ones aren’t.

Great Mexican food. An authentic, cheap, hole in the wall place. At lunch time the dinning room is always full. The cleanliness is definitely lacking especially the floors, but hopefully you aren’t eating on the floor. You can see into the kitchen which is a big plus. Their al pastor burrito is excellent.

One of my top 5 favorite taquerias in the entire Bay Area. Not only are the plates all under $ 10, but they are authentic and delicious. Simple, yet a clean restaurant and everyone there are kind, friendly, and patient with you when you can’t decide on what to order. The rice is perfectly seasoned with a taste of jalapeño and their refries beans are fresh and tasteful. Chicken Enchiladas, generous with the chicken. Tacos de Carne Asada fresh, juicy and generous on meat Tacos de pescado,(fish tacos) delicious and fresh Quesadilla de pollo, fresh, generous with meat and cheese Tacos de carnitas omg so good! Everything I’ve had here has been fresh, plentiful and absolutely delicious, hence the name.

Delicious!!! Best sopes de asada ever! Homemade sopes, large portions and a very reasonable, inexpensive price. They have a location in Salinas also! Mmm…

Hole in the wall GEM! I’ve been coming here for years and they never seem to dissapoint me. Their prices are great, portions are more than enough and the selection of mexican food is endless. My go-to meals are either the Super Asada Buritto, Sopes Meal, Shrimp Cocktail, Fish Tacos and they also have Birria and Pazole on the weekends which are awesome! if your looking for great authentic mexican food Delicias doesn’t dissapoint!

This is my go to place when I’m feeling some good Mexican food! The food is always fresh partly because they are almost always busy. Not only is it freshly delicious, it is also super cheap:) The staff is nice and food usually always comes quick. Minus one star for the sticky tables and the fact that there seems to always be kids running around(kinda annoying). But overall yuuuum!

Hmmmmm, what can i say? Yuuuummmmmiiii… I have been going to this taqueria since high school(class of 02) and i just can’t find a better deal then taqueria Delicia’s 2. My favorite is the Super burrito with carne al pastor(marinated pork) trust me you will get full with this monster. I have tried other plates there and love them all. I recommend this to anybody that’s on a budget and wants to treat his/hers taste buds to an orgasm.

Quick inexpensive lunch. 4 stars for the quantity of food you get for the $. My only complaint is that their salsa could be much more spicier and they could offer a jalapeño or two on the side. Also of the 20+ times i have ordered too go they rarely include limes with the order. Other than those two complaints this place is a great inexpensive lunch, beats fast food hands down. Also: The now under new ownership El Jaliscience III up the street across the street from the 7 – 11 had the best tacos period. Not enough of the public knew about this place which most likely resulted in the changed of ownership. The results were different salsa and cooking techniques, sadly not the best anymore. I have yet to return to the original El Jaliscience in Salinas to see if they also have changed.

We tried Taqueria Delicia’s 2 yesterday, for the first time based on other Unilocaler’s rave reviews. I ordered an Al Pastor super burrito. My wife had the super nachos,(Asada). The total was $ 8.27 for both meals. The nachos weren’t so impressive. Chips were ok, cheese was marginal, not the quantity but the quality. Could have been better quality cheese. Both meats were dry, in fact the rice was very dry also. Made for a dry Burrito in general. I judge taquerias on their Asada and Al Pastor, both could have been juicier. Another thing that annoys me is when the ingredients aren’t spread evenly throughout the burrito. I was like, where’s the sour cream? It showed up in the last bite. Same with the tiny bit of avocado. There wasn’t any hot sauce or salsa in the burrito. I know that all sounds negative but get this,…I’ll definately be going back! Here’s why: I don’t typically like lettuce and tomato on my burrito but they put it on in large pieces, for some reason that made all the difference for me. The meat being too dry was just because it wasn’t as fatty, not as tasty but I’m sure better for ya. The sour cream and avocado were scarce BUT I don’t need all that anyway,(I’ve lost 105 pounds so I watch my weight). For $ 3.89 the super Burrito was the DEAL. As another reviewer said, speaking Spanish would be helpful,(No Plates are listed on their menu but the pictures clearly show they offer a chili relleno plate).

This place was packed with locals Sunday morning. The portions were exceedingly generous and the prices dirt cheap. Carnitas super burrito only $ 3.89! Being able to speak spanish is a plus, but not necessary in this deliciously authentic taqueria.

I have had probably over 500 chile relleno platters in my time as a Mexican Food-loving veg Head. This platter made the Hall of Fame yesterday! Simple, cheap, with lovely ladies chattering in the back making my food. Heaven… I will be back!

An asada taco and a pollo taco. soda. 4.24. Good deal. Nice and cheap, and good. Asada taco was just basic thing, meat, cilantro and onions. Good, but nothing special. Pollo had nice shredded meat, topped with some cabbage. Good flavor. Plate came with a little container of salsa; not to spicy, but added a little needed heat to the asada. A good choice for an inexpensive, bare bones taco. Good honest food.

Delicia’s numero dos is número uno if for nothing else than its carnitas. I’m the new kid in town here, but I know from Mexican food. A carnitas burrito, STUFFED with a huge portion of the best carnitas I’ve ever had, and a judicious amount of rice, beans(both high quality) and salsa for … drum roll please … TWODOLLARSANDFORTY-NINECENTS!!! The place is funky looking. The jukebox is amazing. There are no menus, just a listing with some creative spelling on a big letterboard over the front counter. But the staff is very nice(a little Spanish ability helps), the parking is convenient and the prices are so ridiculously low that I don’t think I could cook it myself for the money. A daily lunch special for $ 3.25? Getouttatown! Or better yet, get over to Delicia’s No. 2. Dinged the joint for one star because there are no paper menus to take back to the office and because of the flippin’ jukebox.

Tortas that are super cheap(like 1.45) YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM! I used to go here when I did my student teaching at Watsonville High. I went again today on a whim… and yep… still love it. Cheap. Fast. Inexpensive. This is about as close as it gets to cheap LA food prices.
