Bout Time Bed and Breakfast

Becky’s communication was excellent from the beginning. The rates were great for what we were getting. We had the 2 adjoining rooms with the bathroom between and they were cute and clean. The furniture was awesome. Becky and Bob were the greatest hosts I’ve encountered in a long time. Becky’s breakfast is AMAZING. Every day there was a different meal. Waffles/​quiche/​sausage, pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, and breakfast potatoes w veggies on another day, and breakfast burritos, stuffed french toast, ham on the last. There were delicious muffins daily and there was coffee and incredibly delicious orange juice, as well. Bob and Becky were hospitable and friendly and their dogs are adorable and fun! Using the pool was also a great aspect of our vacation. We would love to return to BoutTime to experience the homey accommodations, friendly service, delicious breakfast and gorgeous views.

This is a great place to stay. Located about 10 minutes from downtown Watkins Glen, so don’t worry about the city name Montour, NY. Bob and Becky do a great job making guests feel welcome. Bob even drove the 4 of us to the Wildflower Café in downtown Watkins Glen for dinner then picekd us up again when we were done — a nice thing to do for guests who have been wine tasting all day.
The accomodations are great. Very clean and well appointed. Breakfast is served buffet style which is actually preferred since some B&B’s load up plates without knowing your preferences. The food was great, and the evening we checked in they asked us for preferences which were accomodated nicely.
The view of Seneca Lake is fantastic. Bob and Becky take special care to make sure your stay is enjoyable. While Bob was picking us up at the Wildflower Café, Becky started a fire in the livingroom fireplace so it was burning quite nicely when we arrived.

I choose this bed and breakfast for our getaway place after getting married and scored some major cred with my new husband! We live relatively close so were able to be picked up and whisked away for the night. The room was adequate, furnishings in great condition, view was breathtaking, breakfast was stellar but MY selling point was the hot tub out back. It was just a beautiful way to begin my wedded life under the stars while toasting with a glass of champagne.
