Every time I come up to the Waterville area to visit from Boston, I always stop in here. As a former employee while I was in college I can tell you this place is great-the owners are super nice people that love and remember their regulars. Portions are huge and the drinks are always great quality. I wish they would open a location down here :) I crave mings all the time! Keep up the great work!

Ate lunch there today for the first time. I ordered the Chinese vegetables with fried rice and it came with crab Rangoon. I ordered it three stars spicy and it was fresh, spicy and so light. Crispy and not too salty which is refreshing. Clean restaurant with excellent service. I will be back!

Still among the best restaurants in Waterville. Classic Chinese fare always fresh and well prepared. Good service, reasonable prices, large portions and consistent quality keep me coming back even though there are at least two other Chinese closer to me in Fairfield.

We were hoping that this was going to be a good Chinese restaurant based on the reviews but it turned out not to be exactly what we are used to. We are from the New York and Pennsylvania areas. We ordered the General Tso’s chicken and it was more like orange chicken with some pepper flakes sprinkled in. We also got beef and broccoli and there was quite a bit of broccoli in it. White rice does not come with the entrée either. We ordered a pork fried rice and the rice was a little bit dry to our taste. I’m sorry we couldn’t give it a better review. We will keep looking.

Stopped here for lunch on a tip from a friend that went to college in this town. The wonton soup was a FULL bowl… packed with the good stuff. Pu pu platter for 1 was fresh and hot. I’m a big guy and it was more than I needed. I’ll spread the word on this place.

The food seems fresher than expected for this style of restaurant and my entrée Chicken Pineapple Gai Pan had a good combination of vegetables and meat. The vegetable spring roll was excellent. Freshly fried with a crispy wrapper, great flavor. I will likely try this place again.

I usually opt for Ming Lee when I’m craving Chinese take out and my past experiences have generally been satisfying. After tonight, though, I don’t think I’ll ever order from them again. My fried wontons were coated in oil and speckled with red marks. The duck sauce(which usually is pretty good!) didn’t look very clean. The pork fried rice and«crispy» sesame chicken were regrettably bland and over-cooked. I’ve never been more disappointed with Chinese food. After a few bites I tossed my order in the garbage. Spending the rest of the evening with my unsettled stomach. The woman running the cash register was also unfriendly. I don’t usually care about unfriendly service, but for the quality of food you’re serving? Get real.

I ate here in the early fall of 2013, and it really hit the spot. It’s a classic example of yummy Chinese food in New England. The place was bustling on a weekend afternoon, but I was still seated promptly. The service was fast and friendly, the portions very generous, and the food tasty as could be. I’d recommend it, and will go back.

Best Chinese food in Maine! And I’m talking about Americanized Chinese food. Better than any you can find in Arizona and so far, the best I can find in Maine. Great service, fabulous food. Definitely give it a try!

If you’re a fan of fried Americanized Chinese ‘food’ check this place out. My vegetarian Lo Mein was absolutely drenched in a foul, fish smelly ‘sauce’ — totally inedible. The Fried Rice was extremely over done and bland. The Chicken Fingers were about as processed and greasy as they come… don’t get me started on the sauces that accompany the dishes. This place is unbelievable though. If you really really like this kind of soul sapping food, you can order in the restaurant and take away enough food for 2 meals. I will say, they have really good Ginger Ale. Top quality.

Friday eve packed with happy customers! Waited aprox 20 mins with several other waiting hungry fans. At the same time, an on-going bustling take-home business. Excellent New England Chinese food! The large portions we sampled were very good, which made for definate tasty leftovers. Ming’s wait staff is friendly and fast. Traveling RTE95 north/south and hungry? Ming Lee’s is close to you! This place is just average Americanese. If I want better, I go to Cheung Lee. It’s cheap, and the portions(especially when you dine in) are generous. I can usually make a few meals out of their chicken lomein. I ordered out tonight and man oh man, did they SKIMP on the filling on the crab rangoons. They looked empty when I picked them up; the only redeeming factor is that their rangoon recipe is not too sweet. I pretty much come here when I have a craving and want something cheap but still above the bar and close to my house.

As far as Chinese food goes in central Maine… this is the only place to go. I love the food here. the staff is well managed by the owners Mae and Ming. I have always enjoyed the food and have never had a bad experience here.

Not as good as it used to be but still one of the best in the area. Good staff, prices. Seems to fluctuate in quality lately. Good drinks.
