Fireside Inn & Suites Waterville

Very clean and comfortable. Personnel are outstanding.
Restaurant has simple fare but fabulous service.

We decided to stay at this hotel because it was pet friendly and there are very few in the area that are. At first glance the hotel isn’t exceptional. It is older but they have kept it VERY well maintained. The rooms are clean, spacious and very well appointed. From the keurig coffee machines, flat screen tvs, and adjustable wood blinds to windows that actually open for fresh air and a great breakfast that has everything from jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches to fruit, cereal, muffins and bagels. The beds are super comfortable with a thick down alternative comforter and an extra thermal blanket. The staff is very curtious, helpful and will help make your stay as good as it can be. No musty smells or pet scents in the rooms or hallways. Five stars, would stay again and would recommend:)

Best value for money on the trip so far. Rooms are ca. 1970s in many ways, but well-​maintained, clean and comfortable. Excellent Wi-​Fi, and best provisions for modern «wired» life I have seen anywhere (e.g., outlet number and location for chargers).

Friendly service and a convenient location for the business traveller. Used a suite for a business meeting and they did everything to to make us comfortable – including early checkin to set up for the meeting. The desk personell always act like they remember you and are happy to see you back!

Fireside Inn and Suites treat you like family! We were lounging poolside (and hot tub!) and I returned to our room to find a bright red dog bowl filled with treats! Needless to say Guido felt like a king! The rooms are large enough, clean and comfy. Surprise happy hour with wine and cheese! Convenient to shopping, Belgrade Lakes and 95. I’ve stayed here three times and look forward to going back! Skip the chains and be treated like guests!

This is thee best accomodation in Waterville. True, there aren’t many choices… I have been staying in Waterville the past 4 years, several times a year. Unfortunately I discovered Fireside only over the last 1 ½ years. I cannot speak to the available B&B’s ($$$) but I have stayed at the Hampton Inn and whlle it is newer and «modern» looking, the attention given and the treatment of guests cannot be compared to Fireside.
I had extended stays last fall (Colby Soccer) and I was always made so comfortable, kind of like coming «home»…Trisha (front desk) and the entire staff (names escape me) always had a friendly greeting. Giving me ideas of where to site see when I wasn’t watching soccer!
While Waterville is not a «destination», the Fireside Inn makes the visit so warm and welcoming. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Waterville area.

Face it, not a lot of choices in this area.
This place is a throw back to nice non chain motor courts.
