Hotel has been around for years and currently renovation on upper floors. Haven’t stayed here for a few years and certainly lost some stars. The lower parking lot was poorly plowed making navigating in the dark very treacherous for the patrons. People were allowed to park for extended periods of time in no parking zones thus blocking several of the handicap parking spaces. The room was clean and overall nice with great pillows for sleeping. Hard to get drapes to stay closed so light filtered through first thing in the morning which was aggravating. Breakfast buffet was never stocked and when asked the lady said she would cook what we wanted. That’s great but when you want to grab something on the way by you don’t want to wait for it to be prepared. Very basic hotel if you aren’t looking for or expecting much more than a clean room to sleep and shower.

…it’s totally my fault for booking this. Thankfully I was able to get out. 30% of the awfulness is the run down décor. .70% is unforgivable house keeping. Dirty, run down and simply awful compared to similarly priced local hotels(Hampton Inn /Best Western).

In dire need of a re-model! Way too pricey for the quality of this hotel. We were even more disappointed when the housekeeping staff was annoyed that we needed more time getting ready before she could clean the room. Free breakfast was decent(stay away from chewy waffles) and wi-fi hardly worked.

Stanky, beat up, funky smelling place. The free wi-fi is a joke. It doesn’t stay connected for even a minute. I would rather pay for something that works The staff is very nice but that’s the only positive. You will do better at any of the other local establishments.

Meh is basically the TL;DR here. Was a little disappointed for the money, I’ll shop around more next time we’re in the area before staying here again. The Good: Free breakfast was nice and helped subsidize the cost of the stay. Desk staff were great. The Wifi worked well(10mb or so DSL). Bed was comfortable. AC blew cold. The Rest: Walls are paper thin, lots of noise in the room from the hallway and doors opening and closing… and our first night an older gentleman from the room next to us knocked and asked to turn down our TV because it was keeping him up… it was on the 4th lowest volume setting and we were just watching the 10oclock news. The TV was a new flat screen but the picture but the setup was crap, bad picture. The shower was a death trap as the no-slip was worn off and the floor was just untextured plastic.

Used to be the best place to stay in the area when it first opened, I would no longer recommend it due in part to poor maintenance. On a positive note the staff was absolutely kind and friendly. They seem like hard working folks(that make do with what the company allows them to work with). We stayed in a suite and the fireplace was a nice touch. The pillows were pretty comfortable. The bathrooms smell a lot older than they actually are(as Unilocaler Eliza mentioned as well). There were no paper towels nor a dust pan for me to clean up crumbs from my kids eating breakfast, it was evident that our room was not vacuumed as we were greeted by said crumbs when we got back. Beds were not made. Cleaning staff basically gave us new towels and that is it. I’m good with cleaning up after myself but one usually expects a certain level of housekeeping at a motel. There was not any dish soap for the suite(I guess it’s b.y.o. soap). There was an empty paper towel holder on the counter, we asked for paper towels and learned those are b.y.o. too. Seems like someone just left a random paper towel holder there. There were other people’s hairs in every other towel. Gross. There were weird stains on the walls. Things in general just do not seem that clean. It was cleanish but made us wonder about the things we can’t see. We went out in order to b.y.o. clorox wipes. The suites seem to all be near the elevator that we could hear anytime they were used. I normally wouldn’t care but I kept cringing hoping my kids would not wake up every time it chimed. The biggest gross out factor involved smelling very strong cigarette smoke coming through the bathroom vent. We choose non-smoking rooms for a reason. If you want a non smoking room DONOTSTAYINTHISBUILDING. I walked through the hallway and there was no smoke in the hall as ours was a non-smoking floor and it seems like no one was smoking. Smoke was coming in through the ventilation from a different floor where smoking is allowed. I got a nice migraine and watery eyes.

Ugh. I kept going back only because I have a rewards program allegiance, but honestly — I’m thinking about breaking up with them. Although I’m not sure where else to stay in W-Ville. Old, smelly(chlorine? must?) most times I’ve been… nice enough staff, but it’s really dated. And, this is really bad, but there was blood(albeit not much) on my mattress pad(I could see it through the sheets). I will typically change hotels at that point for fear of bed bugs, but it was late when I realized, so I changed rooms. No bed bugs, but still pretty gross.

Adequate. Our toilet overflowed. To staff credit, response was immediate. Shower pressure very slow.

Average service, quality, an cleanliness. I’ve stayed multiple times. Good value for the money. Breakfast is mediocre at best.

It’s a Comfort Inn so you should know what to expect for the most part, however the staff is super friendly and the rooms are clean. Which in a hotel stay is normally just right for me.
