Go for the experience your grand parents had. Stay for the friendly service and often lively conversations that can be had while sitting elbow to elbow with other people.
Good America classic food like hamburgers and turkey clubs. Breakfast is served till 11am, always a plus. Great location right on the town square so you can walk around and look a vintage American downtown.
Honestly even besides the nostalgia effect, I’d go again and again. Just a really enjoyable low key place that beats any big chain fast food establishment around.
And don’t forget to spin the stools.

Nice location, breakfast and lunch only. I walked in about five minutes before closing and they were still really nice about serving me. Staff is friendly and chatty, menu is a bit limited, but everything I’ve had was good.
