Cigar and Lounge

Cigar and lounge is a well appointed comfortable venue with a humidor offering an excellent selection. Hosts Demian and Mike are available to answer any questions about inventory or the industry so pull up a comfortable leather chair watch one of the big screen TV’S and enjoy a good cigar in the company of good people in a laid back unpretentious atmosphere.

Perhaps my expectations were too high on this one. The shop was clean, staff were friendly, and they had the cigars that I was looking for. Prices were consistent with Mass generally as well.
For me though, 5-​stars means little to no room for improvement. The shop is in a residential area and parking options are a bit thin. Also, the furniture had seen much better days. Some is either very old/​abused or possibly second hand. More of a larger version of a home-​owner built man-​cave. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t see anything wrong with that and the staff and customers were very nice to spend time with. I just don’t think it merits 5-​stars.
Ok, now that that bandaid has been quickly removed, I can say that I would visit them again if in the area. Comparatively, it’s the best place around.

Went there yesterday afternoon for Sunday football with about four other guys. Great establishment! Plenty of nice seating with views of the game, the humidor has a great selection, and all the other patrons were very respectful. I’ll definitely be back.

Demian served as a great liaison to a relaxing smoke after helpful thought to picking the right stick. Came in with a seasoned smoker and a noob and both were satisfied with the choices pointed out by Demian. 5 star situation here. Can’t wait to be back.

The quintessential cigar experience! I consider myself very experienced in cigars (20+ years), and Damien and Mike give recommendations that are spot on! A great selection of well-​known and boutique brands. Give them an idea of what you like and they’ll match you up. Even with over 20 years!

This is a nice local laid back place. I enjoy dropping by for a cigar, conversation, and just hang. The clientele is easy going and you can have a good conversation. The TV often has The Game on, but they have movie nights. It is bring your own food, people have little reception here with cake et al. They expanded and it’s even better now.

This place is top notch for the cigar lover. Their recently renovated space is large and includes four TV’s to watch whatever we want. The cigar selection here is one of the best in town and the prices are reasonable.
The lounge is very welcoming to anyone what walks through the door. It’s not like other lounges that are stuck-​up or unwelcoming to newcomers. This place welcomes you like it’s home! That’s why I love it!
The only downside is that you can’t drink here (you suck, Massachusetts). But – still a great place to smoke!

While in Mass. I Unilocaled cigar shop and came across this 5 star shop. All of those reviewers were correct. As soon as we entered Mike came over and greeted us in a warm and friendly manner. Mike helped us with our selection and made some great recommendations. I am a novice cigar smoker and although Mike is clearly an expert, he did not make me feel intimidated. He seemed to just enjoy sharing his knowledge and passion for cigars. I wish this place was in New York. I will definitely return when I am in Mass.

The best service around!!! Both Demian and Mike are amazing guys with tons of knowledge regarding cigars! If you’re new to cigars or a seasoned vet, these guys can help get you a smoke to suite your palate! Customer service and product quality are second to none!

It doesn’t get much better than the Cigar and Lounge for enjoying a decent stik. A very large and welcoming friendly cigar establishment.
Very good selection of cigars, comfortable seating and plenty of HD Tv’s for watching sports or movies.
The friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff will greet you upon arrival and escort you into their large humidor to make your selection from their wide selection. Something for most everyones tastes.
The good news is that the C&L is only 4.5 miles from my house.
Seems to be a popular spot for many locals and everyone was very friendly.

My husband and I went to Cigar and Lounge today to stock up on cigars now that the weather is improving. This was the best experience I’ve ever had in a cigar shop, and I’ve been to plenty! Demian was very knowledgeable and took care to recommend cigars based on our tastes. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend this store to any cigar lover.

These guys get it. I haven’t even been since the recent renovation but I have been going for a couple years now. If you have a question about cigars, you are going to get more than a sufficient answer. The people here, owners and regulars alike are just passionate about cigars. Places like this are the reason cigars have made a huge comeback in the last 20 years. The lounge is a nice, relaxing environment and there’s plenty of entertainment to kick back with. I’ve attending poker nights, birthdays, reunions with old friends, and even my fantasy football draft over Wi-​Fi. I can’t say enough good things about this place and the people that frequent it.

Just finishing a expansion. It is awesome big and comfortable. Great place to relax and have a stick. Great selection and very knowledgable about what they sell.

Went to Cigar and Lounge today and met Mike. He was very friendly and personable. Nice place. Will be back again soon!

Was walking by and decided to go in and get a few cigars as a gift. There was more people than I expected in the nicely decorated lounge area. As soon as I walked in Damian greeted me and brought me into the humidor. He was very personable and all around good guy. Great selection and recommendations. Didn’t sit and have a cigar but it seemed like a good place to relax and hang out

Great place to get a cigar!

I have found my home away from home. In fact, I told my wife that she may never see me again! I visited Cigar and Lounge for the first time recently as was blown away. As soon as I walked in Damien welcomed me and invited me in to the humidor. Many shops watch you in the humidor like you are a shoplifter. But not Damien. He instantly struck up a conversation and I could tell that he has a deep knowledge and passion for cigars. He truly wanted to help me find something I would enjoy.
The selection here is amazing. I only intended to buy one or two cigars, but the longer I lingered in the humidor the more treasures I found. I was very pleased and impressed by the selection of Nicaraguan cigars (and lanceros.)
My friends, including the one and only Chuck Berry, arrived after me and we relaxed with our cigars in the lounge. Damien came by our table to make sure we were enjoying our cigars and to say goodbye to his new friends as it was his time to go home. We then had some time to chat with the other owner, Big Mike. He is equally as friendly and passionate. I really felt like we were just hanging out in our friend, Big Mike’s, basement.
Cigar and Lounge is a couple of blocks off of Mt Auburn St in Waltham in a neighborhood setting. Parking is a breeze. I was happy to learn from Big Mike that the neighborhood is very supportive of their business.

I had the day off yesterday, and decided to swing by and check it out. This place is set up like a lounge, but has the more intimate setting of a cigar shop. I spent a good amount of time talking to Damien, one of the owners, about cigars, lounges, and industry stuff. Needless to say this place although off the beaten path is definitely worth checking out. I will be back there again, when I have some time.
Their selection of cigars are nice, some name brand smokes and some boutique stuff. If you are looking to hang out and smoke with some people this is worth the drive.

Been once, and loved it. The gentleman that I spoke with was very knowledgeable. A few more visits, and I feel I’ll get a decent education. They have a great selection, of interesting cigars, best selection I know of in the Watertown /​Brighton /​Allston /​Newton area. I told him one cigar that I liked, and he was able to give me a history lesson, along with like 5 more I’m gonna have to try.
They don’t have booze, but they have comfy couches, and a nice TV, with video games. I’m sold. I don’t play; but I hear they have poker games pretty regularly too.
However I do think they should sell 20oz bottles of water for $ 1, just so there’s something to drink.
EDIT: They will actually give you water if you just ask.

Every now and then you come across a person who loves their job. Passion is reflected in every word they speak and a general aura of contentment surrounds them. At Cigar and Lounge you will find two such people. Demian and «Big Mike» created a home away from home for all the cigar lovers out there; a place to come smoke, relax, shoot some darts, and just unwind after a long and stressful day.
Whilst the selection of cigars is not the biggest you will find, it is certainly well edited and there is truly something for everyone. Ranging in price from $ 4 to $ 30 there is everything from mild and silky Connecticuts to rich and leathery Maduros (and everything in between). Both guys are knowledgeable (without being pretentious) in the world of cigars and, if needed, can assist in picking out the perfect smoke for your mood any given day.

DREW ESTATE — JAVA MINT (full of minty coffee flavour but not harsh at all, slightly sweet)
ALEC BRADLEY — MAXX CONNECTICUT (light and creamy)
