The place was fine years ago, but has been closed since 2013. Hopefully George the owner is somewhere nearby and I’ll find him.

George, the owner, treats his waitresses and staff undeservedly. As a fellow Greek I am shamed this kind of misogynistic stereotype lives on. The food is greasy and anything fried tastes like fish, especially on Friday. I really can’t understand why this restaurant is still open. The prices remain cheap and having such a miser running the place I guess he can pinch enough pennies to keep it going. Honey Tree deserves 1 star but I’ll give an extra for the staff, not George, who keep this place going with a smile on their faces.

Breakfast is served all day. Omelettes are huge and come with generous serving of hash browns, made to order. The coffee is fresh and your mug is never empty thanks to the attentive staff.

Wonderful people and food and reasonably priced. Great breakfast foods along with great dinners. I love the Greek entries. When my husband and I want to eat where we know we will receive the goodness of fresh food and be served with a nice atmosphere we go to Honey Tree every time. We love to have Saganaki, without going Down Town Detroit or pay the high prices. deli sandwiches are great all the food is good. Give it a try you wont be disappointed.
