What a neat little place! The theme of Bonnie & Clyde’s is old-​time gangsters. In fact, they have wise guys’ names, like Al «Scarface» Capone, painted on the back of the barstools. And the piece de resistance is a functioning electric chair! I made one of my girlfriends go in it. You strap your arms in, that’s where the zapper makes its connection, and the bartender presses the button behind the bar, and you get zapped. The bartender also controls the strength of the shock. Its on a scale of 1 – 8. I’m proud to say, my friend took the full-​strength, 8, like a champ! She jumped a little, and said, «Ooh, I felt that one!» It’s definitely a very cool novelty!

I’ve been here twice now on bike runs. The theme is Bonnie and Clyde and some other bad boys of that era. Not a bad concept for a bar at all. It’s nothing spectacular, but just a great place to hang out. Did I mention they have an electric chair? No it’s not just a prop, so you will have to stop in and see /​try for yourself. The times I have gone have all been on motorcycle runs, so when I have been there it is busy, so I am not too sure what it is like when it is just the locals, but based on some of the food specials they have posted, it might be worth a look this winter when the bike is locked away. Service is good with the larger crowds and the people all seem friendly and approachable. Give it a try, you just might like it.
