This place is not worth the money or your time driving there. First off let me say if your going to work with animals maybe know some basic information about those animals! A worker actually told my little cousin who had questions about the kangaroos that the boys were called joeys and the girls were called jills, when I corrected her and said that’s not true she seemed kinda upset. Another worker was asked by a gentleman what the difference between alpacas and llamas was as she was stationed with the alpacas, her response«I don’t know» the areas are too small for these animals, they are constantly pacing or trying to get out of them, I saw empty water in all the cages. And half the cages didn’t even have animals in them. Also for a petting zoo… you don’t get to pet much at all. The hayride wasn’t all that exciting, sounds the tractor will die at any minute, the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch are all small and most are rotting. The pony ride was literally 2 small laps… the only part I enjoyed was that a lemur got to sit on my shoulder but we had to wait through a huge crowd of people for that. I honestly won’t ever bother coming to this place again.

Not even worth the super cheap Groupon admission. My 3-year-old barely stayed occupied for an hour. The hay ride takes you around tarp covered shacks that I can only assume are preparations for Halloween, but it made me feel like I was taking a hay ride through a shanty town. For a petting zoo, it seems odd that you can’t pet 98% of the animals. In the one area we could pet animals, a deer kept attacking my son. I’m assuming it was just being playful but, seriously, provide some supervision for your animals! When I asked if we had to keep our food out of the zoo area, an employee told me the health department requirements were just guidelines and she assumed that I wasn’t going to put my hands in my mouth or my soda can up an animal’s butt! Uh, we won’t be coming back.

This is a very nice petting zoo for young kids. Our 9&11 year old kids had a really noce time. This is a smaller, family owned Buisiness so it’s not Brookfield zoo. But that was a good thing for our family as we got to hold, play with and pet 3 baby chicks, 6 baby bunnies, 6 baby kittens, a couple cows, a blind but adorable kangaroo, cows, emu, We also saw bear, tortoise, several kinds of fox, peacock, pigs, ducks, geese, mini-horse, pheasant, turkey, etc. … Nice people and nice time with Kids.
