I discovered the Haunted Woods in 2012 and Loved it!!! I went with about 20 friends so they split us up. I was terrified from start to finish and it seemed like it would never end. Every corner every stretch there was something waiting for you. We couldn’t wait to go again in 2013 and 2014. We are all in our 40’s and 50’s and truly this has been a delight. Made me feel like a scared child… LOL…You All did a Fabulous job!!! Making changes every year and continuous changes and also making it so realistic… We All Loved it and are truly disappointed that you have chose to stop doing the Haunted Woods, however want to Thank You for the Awesome memories. We to this day still share our stories :)

I have been coming to the bears den haunted woods for years. It has not changed one bit. 15 $ a person this year which is ridiculous the scares were not good at all, they cramped the crowds together so you heard the spooks happening before they got to you’re crowd. No one was even phased in my group and i had some real chickens with me. Overall I should’ve got my money back it was a absolute joke. Save your cash and explore your options and try out different haunted houses because this one will be just as big of a waste of time as it is your money.

Used to be 5 stars, but gave it a 4 this year. They need more scares, actors & change things up a bit for those of us who come every year. I will still come back, I’m faithful like that. But hope to see improvements next year. Still one if my top 2 haunted attractions.

Opening night of the 2011 Halloween season for Bear Den Haunted Woods and I was there. The crowds were sparse, perhaps because it was the first night and people have not yet gotten into the«frignt» of the season yet but I was excited to partake in the adventure of a haunted house I was not at prior but have heard so much about. After you purchase your tickets you walk down a dark path to a car, a hearse that is. You climb inside and you are off for a ride. The hearse takes you to an opening in the field where it drops you off — not before you are greeted by a buzzing chainsaw maniac in the back. Pretty cool, You proceed to walk through the woods, a path takes you from place to place where you pass by bon fires, shot gun blasts, more chainsaws, etc. You go over a rope bridge and you meet a «friendly» pirate who directs you on your way. I think you get the idea from that, it’s pretty unique and not alot of the same haunted house stuff. I like that it is outdoors and walking through the woods adds to the spookiness factor. Actors and props were good, lots of scared people. Overall it took about 15 to go through which seems so quick when you are done. I don’t scare at these things so I am reviewing strictly on performance and scenery and I think it was pretty cool. I recommend you check it out.
