Boooo. Couldn’t get any service even though there was so many staff just sitting around. Lots of them were on their phones, a few were charging their phones at the bar and another was counting her tips at the bar. We had a friendly bartender, but after she clocked out, the new bartender kept disappearing and she seemed pissed to even be there. No customer service, no hi our even thank you when she gave us the check. Bizarre atmosphere — this place is ripe for a Bar Rescue.

Oh my! This place was not good. It took 45 minutes for a kids meal to be prepared because the distracted waiter forgot to put in my daughters order. also, what’s up wroth the preformed chicken pattie in the chicken parm? Just gross! We ordered a fried calamari appetizer .what a joke. There were literally two tablespoons of calamari on plate! And it was cold! Our meal ended up being free and rightfully so! Not recommended if your looking for good Italian fare!

I went out for lunch with my friends on Sunday, We arrived at about 1, the restaurant was not crowded at all. First thing we asked for was a booth but they said no, «if you want to sit at a booth you have to go sit at the buffet.» After we sat down a couple came after us and were seated at a booth… ummm… We ordered our meal and we were happy with the soup, one star for that. After we finished the soup they served my lunch, Baked Tilapia with shrimp, OMG! The shrimp were tiny tiny tiny and for $ 20. I told my waiter I was not happy with my meal because it looked like they ripped me off, but he didnt care, he continued to put cheese on my meal and walked away. about 5 minutes later the waiter came back to my table again, I told him the same thing, that I’m not happy with the meals and he said he will let a manager come talk to me. The managers came to ask me but he was not friendly at all, and I told him what happened and that I want another meal. he said ok he will change it for me, after he left my table I was too scared to order another meal. Lol. I will never go back to this location. I recommend go to the North haven location or Hartford. 2 stars for the soup and the cheese, lol.

Ask for Matt, he knows what service is all about. The soup salad and service was great. We did the low calorie chicken Weight Watchers friendly dinners.

The wife and I had a delightful lunch today at the Olive Garden. I’m cheap and my wife loves to spend money so, I had the meatball bread stick sandwich with fries($ 6.99) and the wife had The Tour of Italy($ 17.99). Our meals were excellent including a salad and all you can eat bread sticks. We were very impressed with our meals and we will be back in the future.

I give 2 stars because maybe a month ago my boyfriend and I came for dinner and it was hot and delicious and we both really enjoyed our meal. Last week we were craving that taste again and both ordered the same thing that we ordered before… Very disappointed :(my dish came with two pieces of chicken and one of the chicken breasts were raw… Being in the restaurant business myself I didn’t complain and ate the breast that was cooked. I’m sad to say that meal was prob my last meal at Olive Garden :(

Giving this place one star because that’s the minimum we can give. Ordered the chicken Caesar salad, entrée, and it came out with a few limp Pires of lettuce and 4 tiny pieces of shrimp. No one knows how much it costs… not even the manager, Charlie, who was very snarky and kept blaming everything«on corporate». Not cool. Will not return.

just an off night? Not sure when I will ever be able to go to another Olive Garden again. My boyfriend and I could not get off our minds how much of a waste of money this trip was. It was a Tuesday night. We were promptly sat at a table. Our waiter was very friendly. Our food on the other hand… horrible. We were given hard breadstick(which especially was disheartening because that’s a staple of this chain) The were so hard I even hit them on the table and they DIDNOT break. We both got the chicken gnocchi soup. This was probably the best part of the meal. I ordered the sausage stuffed rigatoni that they were advertising. I couldn’t even make a dent in it because it tasted very off and un-flavorful. My boyfriend made his own pasta dish that consisted of the tri color penne and three meat sauce with breaded chicken. I do not recommend that sauce at all! He couldn’t eat anything that had the sauce on it. never again

Honestly nothing bad to say about the last few visits. The ones at the beginning were awful but I think new servers and staff coming in have really helped their service. I always try something knew on the menu and they have never disappointed. The crab topped chicken is to die for and the grilled chicken Tuscano is really good as well. If you can, sit in Mark’s section. He is attentive and fixed a mistake right away. We always get dressing on the side with the salad and as habit he put it on the salad. When it was addressed he efficiently went and brought us a new salad. It was a perfect experience and the next time I go, I will ask to sit in his section once more.

Nice atmosphere(spotless &the place looks new), good service(everyone is always top-notch that I’ve interacted with) and tasty food. That’s what it’s all about! I will certainly return when hungry and in the area!

Need to cook the chicken BEFORE serving it. Not the first time this has happened to me with the mixed grill.

Olive Garden is just like a more expensive Subway that you can drink at. It’s a terrible representation of Italian food. Within 10 minutes of driving away from Olive Garden you can be at probably 100 different Italian restaurants. This area is like Little Italy at times with so many Italian food places and you want to eat at Olive Garden? That’s like dying for a good steak and going to McDonalds. DON’T SETTLEFORLOWQUALITYFOOD. If you’re going out, you clearly have money to spend, just don’t waste it here. Here’s what you do: Use your fancy Unilocal device and search in this area. You will find more Italian places in this restaurant than anything else. The majority of them have great food. The only way you can screw up your night is by being ignorant and settled for junk food because the TV told you it was a good idea. Anything tastes good if you throw enough salt and butter at it. Plus the portions are small and the stale frozen breadsticks are only suitable for drumming, not eating. When you think of going to Olive Garden for their breaksticks or unlimited garbage, take a list of local family-run places in the area that deserve your business, close your eyes and pick one. You will have a better time and enjoy better food than had you gone to this expensive McDonalds.

The good is eh okay nothing spectacular. Maybe I just don’t like Olive Garden in general for that. Service is lousy 20 minutes before even asked our order, but shockingly got our food fairly quickly. I’m undecided about this restaurant to be honest. It’s just eh may or may not come back.

Entered the restaurant to find 6 hostesses standing behind the counter and not one bothered to acknowledge us. Once we finally got checked in(45 minute wait) we headed to the bar for a drink where we sat for what seemed like forever before I asked for menus. Another 10 minutes passed before our drink order was finally taken and even then no urgency. I don’t recommend this Olive Garden. They need to re look at their staff.

Really sad how poor this Olive Garden has become. Very inconsistent portions and don’t dare complain because they are really rude and Not accommodating. The waitress said it was baked ravioli and it is not. It is boiled with spoon full of sauce. Uninformed staff and poor service To top it off no hot water in the bathroom so would definitely not recommend the Waterbury OG. Can see why the parent company is looking to sell. Bad food and poor service.

I used to really like Olive Garden. Not sure if my taste finally matured or if it really did get terrible. First of all, so overpriced. Second of all, our waiter didn’t bother pointing out to us the«one app and 2 entrée + dessert» deal, even though that’s essentially what we were ordering(for double the price!). In fact, the menu displaying this option was intentionally stuffed behind the drink menu and pushed up against the wall so we didn’t even see it until after ordering. Our meal came out literally uncooked. Our shrimp was still cold. I have NEVER sent food back before this day. The manager was extremely rude. She ended up taking our meals back but charging us for the unlimited salad we had already eaten… $ 6 per person! For one small bowl of salad! I will never return to Olive Garden.

As far as Olive Gardens go, the food is pretty par for the course. However, the service here is pretty slow and the place has terrible acoustics. It’s always loud… and there aren’t necessarily loud and obnoxious patrons, it’s just a collective cacophony.
