Reno/Washoe Valley Storage

Awesome service, great specials and friendly. Thank you to Melissa! I know the area and I still had a little bit of a time finding it… shoulda gone with my knowledge and NOT trusted GPS! The new roads and highway numbers confuse GPS!

The service is good enough, the online payment system is great, and the rates are competitive. However, this is by far the dirtiest and most spider/​bug ridden storeroom I have ever used. They looked clean enough when I moved my items in, but the doors allow too much dirt (not just dust) in and apparently this is spider central and there is no pest control.

Bait and switch business. They lure you in with a 3 month special on renting a unit. They say they will e mail you or call you when ur monthly rent is due, but fail to do so and when your past due they charge you a late fee. Bad business I will never uae them again.

I first contacted Washo Valley Storage and asked about their «$ 10.95 Move-​in Special» which I was told would be a free truck for the move, first month free, a free lock and 2 months at ½ price. They didn’t have the size I needed but their other storage facility in Carson City did. I asked if the special still applied and was told yes they would honor that, except instead of a free truck for the move they would give a $ 45 credit because the move was from Lake Tahoe. Well, it was the classic bait and switch, because after all was said and done there were NO incentives given and the excuse was that the manager at Carson City had no authority to give any specials. But to make things worse I wasn’t even given the first month free which is advertised on the website. Of course this was after everything was moved in and James brought me the receipt with the bank card charge. Make sure everything is in writing BEFORE you move in!

Outstanding prices, frequent promotions, easy access from 0600 – 2100. I have been a customer for several years and couldn’t be happier with them.

I had the pleasure of working with James and April at Washoe Valley Storage and I found the service to be so helpful, not to mention they have great rates. With their help, finding the right storage unit for my needs was easy. I definitely recommend checking them out if you’re looking for storage.

Washoe Valley Storage (as I call them) is a quaint and comfortable storage business conveniently located off the 395 highway between Carson City and Reno.
Their prices are beyond fair and their policies are simple and respectable. If you go there you will feel ‘at home’ in the main office with its cabin-​style design and cozy ammenities. The owner, Bill, knows the business and the area very well. He is always looking to improve his company and asks each customer about their satisfaction and opinions.
I would recommend cleaning out your storage unit very well before you store belongings, as the weather during winter can be harsh and dust builds up. Fortunately, Washoe Valley Storage has plenty of brooms and dust-​pans to use and, they have a secure code-​entry gate so you can access your stuff shortly before or after business hours.
I would strongly recommend anyone in the Reno, Sparks, Carson City, or Washoe Valley area store their belongings at Washoe Valley Storage!

I have really enjoyed Reno Washoe Valley Storage and all of their help with my storage questions. Having the convenience of storing my RV close to my home in Reno has been great. Not too mention they have some of the lowest storage rates in the Reno and Sparks areas. I would recommend.
