Love their pizza, especially bacon pizza! Owners are so friendly. Feels like coming home the first time you go!

Local to Washington my whole life, been going here since birth. Hasn’t changed much at all(like the got a new jukebox that’s all). It’s a family owned restaurant, was passed down from father to son. I love the meatza pizza and the Greek salad, house dressing is fabulous. If ur in town skip Marty’s this is where u wanna go.

This might be the worst pizza I have ever had… and this includes boxed frozen pizza. I live in Washington, and sometimes I actually get the boxed frozen pizza around the corner at the grocery store, rather than come here. They don’t deliver to residences, although I hear they will to the local boarding schools. I’m not a pizza snob… during a football game, I’ll happily eat a Papa Johns or Dominos that someone orders and it’s fine… it doesn’t need to be Pepe’s, or even Modern Pizza(which was just amazing) in New Haven. Saying that, it’s just the food that is terrible — the people are always really friendly — so if this review was based on customer service, I’d give it a 5. The people are great. While I desperately would love to support my local pizza shop. I just can’t. The *only* people I have met that like this pizza grew up on it… I guess it’s an acquired taste.

People will unfailingly criticize this place, but I love Washington Pizza. Maybe it’s because I was raised on it, but having experienced the wider world of pizza in New York City, Annapolis, Santa Fe, Salt Lake City, and various joints around CT, I can still confidently that Washington Pizza makes a great pie. It’s a saucy, greasy, cheesy pizza, and that’s all I’m looking for sometimes. The toppings are awesome, and the price isn’t bad either. I hope they stay open for many years to come!

Only game in town. Decent pizza if you’re OK with Greek style. Can be a little greasy(who’s can’t?) but it’s tasty. Toppings are a must! Where else ya gonna go, all the way to New Milford? Just get it!!!

Mediocre. If you’re in Washington Depot, it’s tolerable, but I certainly wouldn’t drive from elsewhere to get the pizza here.

The other review was way too harsh. Washington Pizza is pretty darn good… the pepperoni & sausage/peppers pizza is very good — order it a little well done and they will be glad to accommodate you. Also, try the Gibson grinders… yum! The staff are very nice…

Back in the day, Pre-Flip of my Ford explorer, I would scour the country and cityside in search of Pizza– This was one of my first ventures– Now I would know better and stay away as soon as you see the circular cardboard pieces dictating size and price(hint: cardboard in a pizzeria is not only indicative of its null-taste, but also of the inherent Greek/New England style(which isnt always bad, but mostly is)) The place itself keeps it from being 1 star– its in a house almost, behind the Town hall that looks like the town hall from Back to the Future. Even a flux capacitor couldn’t save this pizza…
