Ordered off eatstreet on a Sunday and it took literally over an hour and a half to get over here. About an hour and a half to go one mile. When I called, the dude told me it was due to ‘weather.’ Besides being cold out, no snow on the ground so I’m calling bullshit, totally ridiculous.

Horrible service! Delivery was more than 30 minutes after proposed time. They didn’t even bother to call! I had to call them and the guy was rude as hell when I inquired about MY food that I paid for. Ridiculous!!!

I had ordered from the closest pizza place to my house that would deliver at 12:15 AM after a violent craving for pizza after work kicked in. My pizza got here within 25 – 30 minutes of ordering, and it was hot and pretty delicious for the price! The driver was very nice. I had a great experience and will order from here again when I need a quick pizza fix!

Ordered take-​out pizza, salad, and drinks for a large group. Pizza was delicious and everyone loved it. They even were able to get our pizza to us ahead of schedule when we changed plans last minute.

We ordered some pizza for delivery from Washington Pizza, and I’m afraid it was an all-​around disappointing experience. The arrival window for the food was over an hour, and then they missed it. We waited until the window had passed by 10 minutes and then called, and then got the standard line: «The driver is out with your food.» 10 minutes later, our food arrives. So a good hour and a half after we ordered. When we got it, the pizza was cold. It was not good. It was a small pie for an XL pie. It was cut poorly. One thing another.
The greek salad was fine.
We will not be ordering from Washington Pizza again, and I wish that I’d checked Unilocal before ordering from them to see how badly they mess up deliveries. At least they’re consistent in that!

I ordered a buffalo chicken salad, and it took 2 hours and 35 minutes to be delivered. When it got here, not only did it not have the buffalo chicken I ordered, the salad was disgusting. The lettuce was white and like rubber and the tomatoes and onions were barely edible. I barely ate a thing after waiting 2 and a half hours. Safe to say the best part of the meal was the water I ordered with it.
Maybe there pizza is better than there other food, but I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially not for delivery service.

This is not the BEST pizza in DC, but it gets 4 stars for being a great deal. Granted the large pizza is more like a medium, but the carryout deal comes with a soda… way better than fast food and at least as inexpensive. We live on the same block and walk over when we want a quick hot lunch. The wings are also good. The salad is fresh but iceberg.

Washington Pizza is good, tasty, inexpensive pizza. I don’t like using the word cheap. My girlfriend lives very close so we decided to try it out. We were pretty impressed. A large cheese was around $ 7 and it was delicious. Not too thin, not too thick, and a nice sauce. Since then we have ordered several times, tried many different toppings, and have been statisfied with them all.

Ordered online from the link here on Unilocal.Confirmation said 10 – 20 minutes. I arrived about 15 minutes later and was told my order was almost ready… so 20 mins was an accurate timeline. The joint is barren inside. No menu boards, no adverts, no tables. Just 2 barstools. Kinda weird, but who cares — the guys were nice. And I got a free can of soda!
Cheesy garlic bread was pretty good. Coulda used a bit more garlic, but was yummy overall. Hawaiian pizza was tasty, but the pizza was flimsy. I like my pizza to hold its shape and this one was saggy and droopy. :(BUT, when eaten cold the next day it was perfect!
So yeah, not the best pizza ever, but it was quick and cheap and walkable in my pajamas. I call it a win.

Horrible, HORRIBLE place! BUYER BEWARE. It took over one hour for delivery, the order was wrong, and the food was disgusting… The only thing that was edible were the cans of soda we ordered. Honestly, we took a couple of bites and simply threw out $ 30 worth of pizza and a sub and immediately placed another order with a decent pizza joint.

This place is off the list. We called for a delivery — the guy spent at least 20mins arguing about the coupon. right there was red flag number one. Then he said the pizza was going to be delivered in 25mins. He forgot to mention the extra hour in front of the 25mins. Yes, it took 1 hour and 25mins. Finally, the pizza came cold and HARD like cardboard. We tried to call the place back and they didnt answer our calls. If you like cardboard and sauce, then order from here.

There are so many more terrible pizza choices that can be made in the area. The fare is not bad, and fairly priced for what you get. I had a large, half and half plain cheese and pepperoni – asked to go light on the sauce. They did. Crust wasn’t too doughy and it wasn’t over-​salted and the slices were not dripping with grease or cheap cheese.
The large pizza was $ 10 flat and ready in the 15 – 20 minute window I was given when I placed the order on the phone and still hot when I picked it up. The owner gave me a call when the pizza was ready, which was a very nice touch. For a city with little in the way of good pizza, Washington Pizza is a great neighborhood alternative to any of the corporate chains.

We live around the corner from the tiny pizza place and have always been really happy with the pizza. We get the veggie and it is always tasty and ready in 20 mins. It is take out only and the shop could use a makeover but the owner is great and super friendly. I recommend for a quick and easy meal in the neighborhood.

Not bad. Not great, but not bad.
The pizza was a bit on the dry side and the toppings were really scarce. The flavor was a little on the bland side. The crust was a little doughy (which I like if it’s a good dough, which it was).
The cheesy breadsticks were good but could have used a little more garlic/​spice flavor.
The delivery arrived in far less time than what was estimated and the prices were quite reasonable.
Not amazing pizza, but if you are in the NW and want some decent pizza that’s not from a corporate chain, this is a great option.
