I have to travel in to downtown D.C., from time to time and this is my preferred hotel. Location is great for after-work activities and sight-seeing… service is excellent. Only real complaint is lack of selection on the restaurant menu, but this is D.C., who eats at the hotel restaurant?

It is always nice to have a hotel named after the intersection where it is located. Overall, it is a pretty average hotel if you are looking to stay for a few nights in D.C. I came here for a conference and stayed for four nights. It is not too far from the Walter E Convention Center, about a 5 minute walk. It is also fairly close to the all the food trucks. The people working at the hotel are very nice and accomadating. I shared a double bed hotel room with two others. The room was a bit crammed with the three of us in a four person room. There is a pool on the rooftop but it is small with limited hours. Overall, I would say that I had a fairly average experience at this hotel, nothing amazing but also nothing terrible.

Amazing location. Nice gym space. Restaurant is average for hotel food. Other than slamming doors, quiet space. Comfortable bed. Bathroom is a little cramped. Hotel staff is friendly. Allowed me to check in early which was appreciated after a red eye flight from Portland, OR.
