Slow service! Literally waited at least 30 minutes after I placed my order. When I paid, they charged me a higher price than what was on the menu. I pointed this out and they said it was for«tax.» I did the mental math and the«tax» they charged me would have been about 15% but I was too tired and hungry to do anything about it. Food was alright though.

I saw this truck parked near my job during lunch time. Since I was in the mood for greek food, I decided to give this truck a try, since my usual greek truck was not out this day. I ordered the lamb and chicken gyro. The meat did not have the traditional greek/gyro taste, and wasn’t seasoned as good other gyros that I have had. It actually lacked seasoning altogether. My pita was not fully toasted, causing it to fall apart when eating. The veggies were pretty fresh and the meat was made to order. It’s an okay choice if there are not any other traditional Greek/Indian trucks around. It’s literally just OKAY :-/

I know some people gave poor reviews for this food truck, but I thought the food was great for a food truck. The gyro sandwich with lambs meat was great and the fries were generous. It didn’t take that long for them to make it, and when it was presented, it was tasty and filled me up for the wall to Lincoln Memorial.

I join the ranks of those unlucky enough to have chosen this truck for my lunch. After waiting more than 15 min! for my gyro plate, it turns out to be mediocre– uninteresting meat, too little sauce, salad made of iceberg, and flavorless rice most certainly from a microwave. This is the kind of truck that gives food trucks a bad name.

Took forever to get food during a power outage at our building. Even then, it was mediocre. Will not buy from them again.

Swung through the food trucks corridor for a late lunch yesterday with a friend(around 2, when most of the trucks are packing up and getting ready to roll out), but these guys were one of the only ones open that I hadn’t tried before. They’ve got a slick-looking truck playing off the«Blues Brothers» theme, but they certainly are NOT on a mission from God. We ordered a steak and cheese and a gyro, one of which was a combo. Despite being their only customers, they managed to screw up the order and give us 2(mediocre at best) gyros. The crinkle-cut fries that came along with the combo were lukewarm/cold, which was especially disappointing since, again, we were the only customers and it took at least 10 minutes to make the sandwiches — one would think they could have made a fresh batch of fries in that time. Basically, I got the impression that they don’t care about their food or their customers, so I recommend skipping this one. Gyro trucks are a dime a dozen, and this one isn’t worth a penny.

I asked for no feta and there is still a decent amount of feta on everything. Also, the salad has zero dressing included.

Meh. I was on a tight schedule at DC today, and we decided to eat at this food truck which was parked nearby the Capitol building. The food truck looked clean and nice, so I hoped that they would serve good greek food. I ordered a plain lamb gyro with no fries or drinks. Normally gyros don’t take long to make, but mine took 10+ minutes to make and there was a line of 6 people waiting. Another gyro truck parked nearby served the food much quicker. The gyro was ordinary, the same mystery-meat morsels you find at your local, run-of-the-mill mall. There was nothing special about it, except the bread. I don’t know if it’s a thing, but the bread was burnt and crispy when I ate it. Normally I believe that pita bread is soft in a gyro, so that kind of thew me off and changed my opinions. Honestly don’t come here if you want a good gyro. Do come here if you honestly don’t give a crap and just want to eat up. Actually don’t, because it was definitely not worth the $ 7.

As I was eating my gryo sandwich with french fries, I thought to myself, this is basically the definition of average food. There are so many gyro food trucks in the area and this one isn’t at the top nor at the bottom. The best part was the french fries. They were shockingly good. They had great seasoning and were arguably better than any other food truck french fries I’ve had so far. The gyro sandwich though had some issues. The gyro meat had a great crisp to it, but a good portion of the meat in my sandwich had no substance to it, it was just burnt crisp ends. It also had almost no yogurt sauce in it… make sure to ask for extra yogurt sauce if you get a sandwich! It’s pretty hard to enjoy a gyro sandwich without yogurt sauce… The rest of the sandwich though was fine.
