I highly recommend Dr. Nsouli. His office provides patients with an outstanding, comprehensive experience for allergy care. I’ve already recommended him to several friends who also suffer from allergies. Office staff are pleasant and helpful. Dr. Nsouli took the time to listen and evaluate my complaints and to ensure that I understood what was going on and why we he was recommending a particular course of treatment. In addition, Dr. Nsouli’s office was well equipped with medical equipment which provided a streamlined and efficient experience. It’s very clear that Dr. Nsouli is very knowledgable and engaged in the latest medical research in this practice area and this translates in the quality of care he provides patients.

I have only seen Dr. Nsouli a few times himself but he really got me started on the first healthy route to treat my allergies in decades! His staff and team of RNs and PAs are very accommodating as well. Obviously they are only open business hours, which makes it hard to get in sometimes, but that’s how a Doctor’s office works. My allergies have never been more under control now than ever before. Thanks!

So… I wrote my honest review on his FB page, and guess what he did… he deleted the page! Talk about an ignorant doctor. Ignorant is an understatement. And have to add, when it comes to treatment for allergies, he has a one size fits all treatment filled with pharmaceuticals, so if that is the route you want to take, then go ahead! But he really does not listen to your unique situation nor believes that the patient comes first. He relies on pictures with presidents and awards from decades ago to feed his credentials… and ego. How about you really listen to and respect your patients?!? Here is my review from his FB pages that he has deleted:
Wish you listened to all of your patients. I came to you as I developed sensitivities and allergies after taking an antibiotic, and you dismissed me with your arrogant knowledge saying that there was no way that my symptoms were related to taking Levofloxacin (brand name Levaquin)…because you prescribe it a lot and take it yourself. You said it was «all in my head» and did not listen to my progression of symptoms or anything I said. I went from a healthy 33 year old to struggling with my health after 5 pills. Fast-​forward a year later… fluoroquinolones can cause systemic damage, and I still have health issues to this day. And I just went to an FDA hearing last week, and their committees are recommending label changes for fluoroquinolones as they do not match the risks that go along with them. Do your research, people, because some doctors don’t do their own and do not pay attention to or fully disclose warnings!

Even before the allergy pricking part, Dr. Nsouli diagnosed a condition which had been troubling me for months, in a matter of minutes — and he was dead on. Appointment was perfectly on time, facility was clean with very «Washington» touches and photos of his famous political clients on the wall, and everyone on his staff was SO nice! You can tell they love working there because they were in such good spirits. Even better was finding out all of my allergies (I am almost 30) so I know what to avoid for the rest of my life. Dust, cats, sure, but bananas? Who knew. HIGHLY recommend. Dude’s a genius.

I was referred to Dr. Nsouli by a patent of his due to a massive allergy reaction I had in the spring. He gave me a very through exam and met with me multiple times during the busy allergy season. He started me on a set of medications and gradually increased them based on how my condition changed. I have never felt better and his team cured my allergy issues. All of my symptoms are under control. I would recommend him to anyone suffering from allergies.
I can’t speak for the other reviews as my experiences have been very positive.

An allergy shot factory with terrible hours and horrible communication. Look for a practice that gives you accurate information, that has a decent location, workable hours and where you actually see the doctor.

I am so fortunate to have come across Dr. Talal Nsouli. I have been living with chronic asthma for many many years. It would wake me every night, and keep me from enjoying many things in life. Dr. Nsouli put me on a comprehensive plan, freeing me of my issues. I almost never use my rescue inhaler now.
He is extremely educated in many issues, always takes the time to understand and answer all of my questions, and never makes me feel rushed. His office and staff are extremely friendly, and efficient. I highly recommend him to anyone with similar issues.

Dr Nsouli has been treating my 3 yr old for recurrent bronchiolitis and pre-​asthma for the last year. Before seeing Dr Nsouli, we averaged 5 er visits/​year. Now that Dr Nsouli has my son on a preventative cocktail of meds, we have gone a year without a single er visit or bad breathing episode. It is night and day better and we can’t thank him enough. I am so glad I took our pediatrician’s advice & started taking my son to Dr. Nsouli.

Contrary to what people have written I thought Dr. Nsouli was very attentive and courteous. He was very generous with his time and treatment. I highly recommend him. Also what is wrong with displaying your awards? I would too if I had so many. It is a sense of achievement! His staff was also very polite.

Dr. Nsouli is always late… always He is also rushed. I have never spoken to him for more than 3 – 4 minutes. The office is creepy with awards from 15 years ago hanging on the wall and vhs tapes of him talking at some mid-​90s conference hangin on the wall.
The worst, however, is that the medical care is crummy. Every appt is liking starting from scratch and the treatment is same regardless of the symptoms.

I’m sad other reviewers have had such a terrible experience, but I really like Dr. Nsouli and would recommend him to anyone suffering from allergies. I knew he was a good doctor when I took my prescription to CVS and the lady behind the counter held up a book of his she was reading on allergies. She was in disbelief believe that I had gone to see him.
He knows what he is talking about and I found my round of tests helpful in diagnosing the cause of my allergies. Since going to see him over a year ago my allergies have improved tremendously.
I find the staff to be both professional and efficient. They have always been kind and helpful when I ask questions about my insurance coverage and during check-​in/​out.

Dr. Nsouli’s enormous ego is equaled only by the prices he will charge you for unnecessary tests. I went in for tests for one specific set of symptoms, and instead of testing me for allergies causing those symptoms, he tested for allergies I already knew I had, confirmed that I had them, and then told me to come back for another round of tests. He also pushed me to take allergy medicine for environmental allergies, regardless of the fact that I didn’t have any symptoms from these allergies, and urged me to get allergy shots even though, again, I have no symptoms. Worse, he charged $ 900 (!!!) for these unnecessary tests (my insurance negotiated to $ 400 — $ 400 out of pocket for him not to even address the problems I came to him for!). I did get to look at pictures of Dr. Nsouli shaking hands with presidents and read his ego-​inflated bio, though, so I guess that’s what the charges were for.
Stay far away from this scammer.

I could not agree more with the previous review (especially the ‘suspect’ treatment). I just went to Dr. Nsouli to get tested for allergies and actually felt like I was being scammed.
Dr. Nsouli seems like the stereotypical bad specialist — convinced that everyone needs his treatment, and happy to charge you a fortune for it. I hardly had to explain my symptoms for Dr. Nsouli to decide I definitely had allergies, should do tests to figure out which ones, and start allergy shots immediately. His actual treatment was extremely rushed and inattentive — After quickly reviewing my allergy test results, he spent maybe 1 minute explaining my diagnosis, threw a bunch of allergy drug samples in a bag, ‘confirmed’ I wanted allergy shots («because you don’t want to have to be on the drugs forever, right?») and ran out the door. Before I knew it, I was at the reception talking to the billing specialist, and being asked to sign an agreement to pay for everything my insurance wouldn’t.
This is where I finally slowed things down, and I’m really glad I did. I asked the billing woman to explain the full course of treatment to me, how the immunotherapy treatment (allergy shots) compared to just allergy drugs by themselves, and exactly what was covered by insurance. First, it turned out that because my insurance wouldn’t kick in until after I met my deductible, the first appointment alone had cost me over $ 500, and getting started on the shots would involve another big investment upfront. After insurance kicked in, it would become a lot less expensive, but at that point I’d have spent a whole lot out of pocket on something I wasn’t sure I even needed. I walked out of the office without signing any contracts, and after doing some research and speaking with another doctor, I decided I’d much rather try out the prescription-​strength antihistamines before committing to years of allergy shots.
I found this entire experience really disturbing and would recommend against using Dr. Nsouli for your allergy treatment. (but if you do go, definitely make sure to understand how they work with your insurance .)

I went to Dr. Nsouli for my allergy needs over a 3 – 4 year period, and my biggest regret is returning after my first visit. In my opinion, Dr Nsouli is exactly the type of doctor that you should avoid: his ego is huge, he seems rushed and runs out after a few minutes before you can ask questions, and his medical care is shoddy.
The first thing that strikes you during your first visit is how much esteem Dr. Nsouli holds for himself. Plaques and awards are everywhere, as are the big reminders that he was Clinton’s personal allergist. Perhaps he’s trying to convey the message that only if you’re a big shot will you get the proper care. The most laughable aspect of his office is that every waiting room has a TV which is constantly replaying some decades old segment of Dr. Nsouli being interviewed about allergies. It was like the 80’s out of Total Recall. This should have been the brightest and final sign to me that this was a practice that wasn’t devoted to its patients.
All of this would be irrelevant if Dr. Nsouli was a miracle worker, but in my experience, his advice and care were suspect. He’s too rushed to explain things or answer questions. He was giving me some medical advice, which didn’t seem to make sense to my own medical logic (which is admittedly far more limited). But still, medical advice should make sense.
I decided to consult another allergist, and good thing I did, because my new allergist agreed with my analysis, and carried out some tests which bore them out. Don’t waste your time with Dr. Nsouli. Go see Dr. Ein at Medical Faculty Associates instead.

I’ve been getting allergy shots here for 1.5 years. I’ve been really happy with the service in this office. They’ve fit me in when I’ve gotten sinus infections and even diagnosed me over the phone and called in a prescription. They hours for allergy shots are somewhat limited, but the wait isn’t usually very long. And the shots are really starting to help.
