I was verbally abused and threatened by a worker at this store(#412). I was ordering two sandwiches at approximately 12:25pm on Sunday, April 3, 2016. A black female employee with a facial piercing, probably 40 – 50 years old, and a Jamaican accent treated me so rudely and threateningly I left without my order. While making one of my sandwiches, she accidentally grabbed the wrong bottle and put an unwanted condiment on my sandwich. I brought it to her attention, not thinking it would be a huge problem. She went into a rage, almost immediately. She held up both bottles and said«They look the same what is the difference! What do you want from me?!» She was shouting at the top of her lungs and other people in the store started to stare. An older woman in line next to me came to my defense and said, «But ma’am, they are different ingredients — it isn’t what he asked for.» The employee again started screaming, «So I have to make it all over for you now?! Oh my God! You are too picky and I have to do it all over. But you are the customer! So now let’s redo this whole sandwich!» To be quite frank, her tone was mocking and she humiliated me. At that point I walked away from the counter and said, «You know what forget it — this is ridiculous. I’ve never been treated this way.» Another customer supported me and said, «That’s right!» The employee yelled at me as I exited because I didn’t pay for the sandwiches she had started. I absolutely would never pay for sandwiches she made after being so terribly treated. It was honestly scary the way she screamed and slammed her hands and raised objects. This person has an intense anger problem and should not be working in customer service. Frankly, she is a liability to the owner. So, naturally, I write a complaint to the Subway website about this. In the days following, I get calls from the store manager and a regional manager. Between the two of them I was promised two things: a meal for free and the termination of that woman. When I went in for my «free meal» I received a cruel joke. The only person behind the counter was the same woman they told me they fired. It was all a lie! I used to be a usual customer, despite the fact that it was already a poorly run Subway. Now I am looking to see how far up the chain I have to go until I receive retribution.

I had just moved to the area, and went to this local Subway Sandwich shop on a quick food run for me and my contractors. I concur with the previous reviews that the time they take is really long. I get to the front and place my order. As she is toasting it, she accidentally burns the ends. In her language she explains her mistake to her boss, who promptly turns to make and tells me this is how they come. I didn’t wait for candid camera. And just left.

This subway, while conveniently located on the corner of Georgia & Piney Branch is always busy… and sadly, not at ALL efficient. I’m used to Subway people waiting impatiently on me to figure out WTH I want, but here… it’s always the opposite. At this Subway, you’ll have time to draft your entire Unilocal review while waiting to order. Plan on a good 10 – 15 mins to stop in here. To add insult to injury, they will literally sprinkle the bare minimum amount of toppings… seriously… 6 olive slices? Why don’t you just sprinkle olive dust on it?! And I thought the 11″ footlong was the worst of their crimes. Sadly no. Be prepared to get the evil eye when you ask for more olives and onions. There’s a parking lot directly behind the building… be careful not to drive/step into the grave-sized potholes. I’m tempted to calculate the extra minutes in line + toppings shortage, divided by the close proximity to my house, minus the distance to the next closest subway in Takoma multiplied by the proportional increase in toppings, by the square root of improved customer service, carry the one… oh screw it. I’ll be back and I know it, It’s right around the corner from my house. Damn.
