This place is the worst! I was in dire need of wifi to get immediate work done. I literally walked around to a few different coffee shops in the area for about an hour but they were all full. I walk about 12mins to this location and it’s now about 5:55. I walk in and the young lady working the counter says«oh uh uh! Then turns to a police officer who is sitting down and says „ummm what time do we start locking doors again“? Her nasty attitude and her fellow barista’s laughing response prompted me to check the door. I see no sign about closing time. Clearly these rude people are ready to go home and couldn’t say „I’m sorry ma’am but we’re closing“. So I say excuse me but what time do u all close today»? Hastily walking by me to the door and without ever even making eye contact she says«6 o clock so bye»! I’m like WHOA! I say nothing else, just walk out. She clicks the lock the minute I step out the door. It was incredibly rude. I couldn’t wait to write a review. Such horrible service.

Probably one of the worst Starbuck’s I’ve been to. That being said, it’s closest to work, so I’ll probably keep going, but, ugh. Service is terrible. The cashier’s are mean or they ignore you, one or the other. Just walked in, no line, and the cashier(after not looking at me) goes, «What size.» I responded, «Oh, um, tall.» even though I hadn’t ordered anything, and she just started choosing my drink for me. I then said what I wanted, so she had to delete her assumption, but I was thinking about a food item. After that I decided to just take my coffee and go. There are a couple of good cashiers, and I always hope for one of those, but they are a rarity here, unfortunately.

I absolutely hate this location. Over the years it has provided only worst coffee and worst service. Unfortunately, it’s closest one to work. Only when I’m really out of time I go here and try an espresso based beverage cause those don’t taste as bad. The place smells half of the time, the employees are either ignoring you or they get your order wrong and then ignore you some more when you tell them that. Does this place not have a manager on duty? How can they possibly work there with zero responsibility to the company that pays their bills? If you think I sound frustrated, you’re absolutely right. I’ve been walking couple of blocks in each direction to get coffee from any other Starbucks location except this one. The day this place becomes decent is the day they hire somebody who actually cares about what they’re doing. Worst location ever, anywhere in the city and worst in general I ever visited anywhere in the states.

I know you’re busy but couldn’t you at least have heated my sausage sandwich so it’s not ice cold? :-(

Tiniest Starbucks I’ve seen, they easily run out of fundamental ingredients. Three double outlets, three tables each inside and out, and two short, scuffed counters inside. Staff will mop right between your feet… Just ask us to move? Louder than average jazz music playing in the background. Not an ideal respite for a mobile worker bee.

The blonde roast always tastes burnt — I’ve complained about it in the past but there’s been no improvement.

Pretty small location. Empty on a Saturday afternoon. Could use a little sprucing up.

I like this location because it is usually not as crowded as the one on H Street. That being said, there isn’t a whole lot of room to sit down and just hang, so this is really a better place for grab-and-go. This place does garner an award for providing the most unusual and creative spelling of my name on one of my recent orders. «Jluiatt» for«Juliet». Hm. Well, while the spelling might not be too stellar, the coffee and service is on-par with what you would hope from a Starbucks.

Convenient spot, I had to use the restroom and who am I to say no to Starbucks? I got the new hazelnut caramel macchiato, it was yummy. The restroom was spacious and clean. The staff was nice but it was easy for them to go about their business and talk among themselves or their friends that would come visit them. This Starbucks was on the way from the parking lot to all the museums and served as a good landmark for how to get back. Plentiful seating if you’re into people watching at a prime location.

I mean it is a Starbucks and I go here all the time because it is so close to work. But as far as service goes, this place is terrible. The lady working the cash register in the morning is mean to the point that its schticky. Does she know its not funny? Did she mean to make that person cry? Is she really just insensitive? Or is this all some kind of larger joke? Its terrible to say, but I am willing to put up with the abuse because of the convenient location. But if you have a choice, and you are reading this review while standing in line at the bank, and are deciding between this Starbucks and the other one on 9th street, I say go to the other one.

This is by far the worst Starbucks in the city. The staff puts little effort into marketing a quality beverage. I ordered a cappuccino and the barista instead of steaming the milk, just pored cold milk into my cup.
