We had a delicious pizza and cold beer. Service was friendly and quick. We will be back.

Best pizza in the hood. Go there a lot for soup, sandwiches, pizza, salad. Owned by folks next door — Montmartre. Will be loyal. I am picky about pizza. Not the same as Monemale(sp) in brookline. That place is best in DC bar none. 7th hill is great and is of the caliber of &pizza which is quite good. Pizza is all about the crust. These guys have good crust.

The pizzas are awesome. The staff is friendly. The environment is clean and relaxed. 7th Hill Pizza is truly something special on the hill! I would recommend the 7th Street or the Seward Square pizzas, and for those weekend Netflix binge sessions grab a Nutella Calzone too!(Just be careful not to inhale took close to the calzone because you are guaranteed to breathe in powdered sugar).

Came in for a late dinner with the family. The pizza was exquisite. Neapolitan style pizza with the the very best ingredients. We had the eastern market and the Garfield park, both with prosciutto. The owner was very friendly and upon hearing my daughter loved prosciutto brought out a plate with extra slices. Great relaxing atmosphere.

Great pizza! I’ve been here about 5 times and I’ve been very happy every time I visit. Favorite pizza so far is the Potomac Ave. Sitting on the patio on a nice day is recommended.

I have only been here and ordered thir sandwiches because I prefer huge sloppy slices of pizza, but I love Seventh Hill. I have had their tuna sandwich, turkey sandwich and chicken salad sandwich. All of them were generous in protein and DELICIOUS. All of their sandwiches are served on fresh out of the oven pita bread which adds to the awesomeness of this place. I have nothing bad to at all to say about Seventh Hill. Prices are fair in a very«lunch» competitive area, and everything tastes fresh! If you are in the Cap Hill or Navy Yard area, this place is definitely worth a stop.

Very conveniently located right next to the outdoor market in Eastern Market(and across from the Eastern Market metro station). It seems like a fun place to dine in and they have some interesting pizza options, but the portions are TINY considering the prices they charge! I’d heard a lot about Seventh Hill and had been wanting to visit for a while. I was in the Eastern Market neighborhood for lunch with a friend and decided to get a to go order for dinner for my fiancé and I. Service was friendly and they offered my friend and I some water while we waited for my order. The pizzas come in 8″ and 12″ portions and are named after certain neighborhoods and streets in DC, such as Pennsylvania Ave, Eastern Market, and Union Station. I ordered the 12″ Navy Yard(tomato, mozzarella, toulouse sausage, oregano, pecorino). It was $ 16 and was definitely not enough to feed two people. My fiancé and I ate it almost immediately after I got home and it didn’t taste quite fresh. I’d been to the sister restaurant next door, Montmartre, for brunch previously and loved it. I unfortunately can’t say the same for Seventh Hill. I’d likely visit another place for pizza in the future(We, The Pizza is located nearby and I like it a lot better).

On a busy Friday night, the staff was working very hard and pumping out piping hot pizzas to the families that were literally stacked on top of each other to the door. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive one of those hot pizzas. I placed a pickup order and arrived about 10 minutes after calling and had been told on the phone the pizza would be ready in 20 minutes. I came early to make sure I got the pizza hot out of the oven. I checked in, paid, and was told it wasn’t ready yet. No problem, I just waited. And waited. About 12 minutes later, the woman that said the pizza wasn’t ready, looked at me confused as to why I was there, checked the prepared boxes again, that hadn’t moved since I’d been there, and shoved the top one off the pile at me. So, guess it WAS ready. I walked away with a barely lukewarm pizza at best. I should have asked for a fresh pizza, but the place was packed and I didn’t. The pizza was delicious. The pizza was also cold. So, not sure I’ll return, which is really too bad, because the guys making the pizzas are working very hard and they really look great coming out of the oven.

Fabulous! European style thin crust pizza. I’ve been told they import their dough from Naples Italy. Their specialty Italian meat toppings are generous and a great value. I get a side of arugula on top and it’s just like getting a side salad, but only costs $ 1.25 extra. For a real gourmet treat, ask them to sprinkle balsamic vinegar and parmesan flakes on top. Their Nutella calzone for dessert is out of this world delicious. Great happy hour too.

I had a pizza here a while ago and it was so bad I literally just paid $ 16, ate the topping off and left the entire crust. As a pizza fan, I appreciate many types of pizza. I ordered the veggie one and then added meat. One of the toppings was listed as eggplant but I was shocked when the pizza came out and had puréed eggplant instead of sauce. I thought the eggplant was going on top but whatever… the real issue was with the crust which had the consistency and taste of a stale dense pita someone had left in the fridge like a month too long. In the name of pizza this isn’t right.

Nope. Sorry. This place fails me from Go. The cashier was clueless. It wasn’t loud in there but for some reason she couldn’t hear me when I was ordering. Oh, wait, why is that? Because she kept walking away to do other things while I was trying to order — don’t ask ‘can I help you’ and then walk away. hu? Either tell me to wait a second so you can finish what you need to do, or take my order. You can’t do both things though, clearly. I had to repeat my pretty simple order 4 times — 2 pizzas and 2 beers. The pizza is fine. Tasty but not WOW. Nothing to write home about. I really didn’t care for all the dogs around outside bumping at my chair while I ate, but I didn’t realize it was a dog-friendly place — whatever, my bad. The last straw was the mouse I saw inside the restaurant while I was sitting outside eating. NOPE! all done. no more.

Very blah place. I came here after reading some good recommendations. I walked in with high expectations. Unfortunately I didn’t find anything about this place all that great or interesting. They pretty much only offer pizza or a sandwich. The seating is uncomfortable as they only have large high top tables with stools, and the food takes awhile even if the place is empty. This place is so blah that I didn’t even bother asking for a box to bring home ¾ of my uneaten pizza.

We stopped here while checking out Eastern Market to grab a quick bite. My recollection is a little hazy as I was«three sheets to the wind» as they say but I’ll try my best. The pizza menu is a little intimidating at first, but the girl at the counter was super friendly and offered some suggestions. My inner neanderthal was craving meat but I couldn’t find a pizza to fit the bill. Luckily the cashier recommended I order the Navy Pier and add extra meat to it — that was easy! The pizza came piping hot and was drunk-ass delicious. I also tried my wife’s turkey sandwich and was surprised at how good it was. The service here is great. We ordered a bottle of wine and when they did not have it in stock, they gave us an additional discount off the bill as an apology. I’m thankful they did as it is a tad pricey but I guess it’s normal for the area. Overall I would love to come again and try the food when I am sober. I hope it lives up to my hazy memory!

Seventh Hill is probably our favorite place to eat as newcomers to Capitol Hill. Anytime a friend/family comes into town, this is always on the list. We trekked through the last snow day in March for some deliciousness before they closed for the night and it was totally worth the frosty fingers. The place was not even half full, which doesn’t affect the atmosphere because of the floor design… Cozy no matter what. We sat at the bar for easy access to the food and warmth from the pizza oven. We ordered one of the less complicated pizzas, seventh street, and a bowl of the tomato bisque. So great. The pizza has prosciutto and mozzarella with a tomato base and the combination equated to us devouring the entire thing right there. No doggie bags tonight! The bisque had a delicious thickness to it that made it perfect for the cold weather. The staff is always friendly, and on a probably slow night, they were no different. The new girl at the register was perfectly friendly for working with an audience and chatted with another couple while we munched away. The manager is always in a good mood, making sure to ask about the food, etc. As we finished up I decided to indulge in the chocolate mousse, and oh so happy I did. They sprinkle it with little chocolate covered crisps that make it irresistible. I cleaned the cup myself, and even recommend it to my own customers. We didn’t eat the sandwiches that night, but they are on par with the rest of the food. Very filling for a good price with perfectly paired ingredients all around. If you’re not in the mood for mousse or want a dessert to share, the Nutella calzone is insane. Definitely big enough to share, it is ooey gooey goodness through and through. Only one of many things that will keep me coming back.

Seventh Hill came highly recommended to me by a few friends who live in DC, so I stopped by while I was visiting. The staff was friendly and even let us sample the day’s Butternut squash soup, noting that it was spicy and they wanted to make sure we would like it. It was DIVINE and I wish we had ordered it! The staff was patient as we took a bit of time to decide among the pizzas and beer options and was kind enough to split our bill down the middle, so we didn’t even have to worry about it. That is always appreciated! We ended up ordering a salad(the mixed greens one) and it was generous enough to share between two people. It was basic, but fresh, although lacking in dressing. We also shared the Stanton Park pizza, which featured an array of fresh veggies. It was tasty, but not amazing. I had higher expectations for this place, but their crust and toppings didn’t impress me. The meal was a little pricey for a basic salad, pizza + beer at around $ 40 all together. Next time, I’d go for the soup and maybe a meat pizza instead.

Overall: Skip the pizza, better off with the sandwich(which can also be ordered as a salad). Skip this pizza — soggy center Tried this place and while the names of the pizzas are charming, the pizza I had was so-so. For flavorful pizzas, try We the Pizza on Penn(better priced too). Be warned that the middle part of the pizza is thin and a bit soggy. I had to fold up the middle to eat it. Pizza choice — Lincoln Park. The pizza looked and sounded delicious. However, I did notice that the dough crust was a bit burnt. The mix of flavors was interesting but nothing stood out. A bit bland in my opinion. Saving grace/hidden tip Heads up, the sandwiches can be converted into salads! If you come here order that. The veggie salad(with added chicken — I know I tonic right?) is flavorful. My formed orders it am a let me try it. If I go back, I will definitely try the sandwich/salad.

Tried here for the first time. I did a carryout and brought my pizza home. I ordered: the margherita pizza and it was missing the basil! Really??? People might think im overreacting but you can’t miss basil margheria pizza thats so unthinkable and very very unappetizing. I judge any pizzaria based on their margherita and missing one of the three ingredients is just not forgivable. Im sorry Also on the dough, it was very soggy. the dough was just very typical average. No crunchness and crispyness The prosciutto was very thick which I thought was weird. It kills the texture if prosciutto is sliced this thick. Overall i will just wait till &Pizza opens on Barracks Row.

This review is for happy hour only. $ 58 inch cheese pizza, with fresh mozzarella is a pretty stellar deal. Add $ 3.50 Yuengling on tap, $ 4 select canned beers and $ 4.50 house wines, as well as $ 6.50 flatbreads. Now, offer it seven days a week. No wonder there was a line! Basic pizza was good, very fresh — you can see them making the crusts and putting them in the wood-burning oven. Flatbread seemed a little too bready for me, but my husband liked it, and the artichokes and salami on top were good quality. Service was fast and polite. There was a brief delay in our beers and our server was very apologetic, even comping them. Overall, a good enough experience that I’d come back during non-happy hour and try some of the other options on the menu.

Great pizza, fun place but can get to be pretty busy… like everywhere else in Eastern market. Great customer service though! Even though I’m eating pizza, it’s healthy… somewhat.
