Rock Creek Market

This review is for the UPS Access Point service. I got a notice that my UPS package was at this market for pickup through their new Access Point service.
I brought the slip with me to the market; the lady was nice enough about everything but they didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Their tracking system was a piece of paper that had addresses written down on it and when I initially came into pick up the package she said there was nothing here for that address. I was looking at her paper and saw our address and pointed it out to her. Then she said I couldn’t pick it up because the package was addressed to my husband.
I asked if I could pick it up for him because he was out of town for a couple weeks. She said I couldn’t. I offered to show her documentation that I lived at the address but when I pulled up scans of tax forms and bills on my phone she said she needed paper copies, also our marriage certificate, and a photo ID of my husband. I went back home, dug around for all the documents and brought it back for them to scan them. I finally got the package, but the it was a huge hassle and it seemed like they need to figure out a better process.
As an aside — the market itself is really clean and well stocked.

I love this little market. As far as city corner stores go, it’s the ritz. No, it doesn’t have everything under the sun, but it’s also not a grocery store. It’s very clean and easy to find what you’re looking for, and their beer selection is kinda surprising for such a small shop. The people who run it are really sweet too. I love stopping in.

Fresh produce and dairy, with a good selection of things. And the friendly staff once came to my house to return the wallet I left there.

The market is very clean and the staff is always very friendly. It is the nicest corner market in the area by far. And if you have something specific that you think they should carry– simply tell them bc I think they do take that into consideration.

As corner stores go, this has got to be one of the tops in NW. Clean, well-​lit, nice selection of groceries, organic milk, fresh (albeit limited) produce, decent beer and wine (not just your usual 2-​packs of Steel Reserve) and an über-​friendly staff. I also wish they were open earlier/​later, but, overall, it’s a definite plus for the neighborhood.

It’s clean, not scary and has a decent selection of stuff.

It’s nice that this corner market has a few fruits and veggies, but I wish they had some more items, like skim milk.
Primarily, I wish that they stayed open later than 9PM!
It’s really nice that they are open and serving the surrounding area, though. There aren’t many other stores in the immediate vicinity.
