I’d never been to Reedddddd Robin YUMMM ever before(for some reason, I’ve never lived anywhere near one) so when this one opened up near my office, I figured at some point I’d give it a try. Well, the time came, and woah, I am hooked, I have now been back several times(poor waistline of mine). The space is big and welcoming, lots of tables, and very clean. The staff is always very very friendly and nice, they are so pleasant, and that’s very nice to encounter. The food, well, their burgers are up there with the best burgers I’ve ever had. To me as good, if not better, gasp, than Shake Shack, and much more affordable. The Tavern Double with fries is really an excellent deal at less than $ 8. The burgers are so juicy and delicious, the bun is perfect, and the steak fries are always hot and delish! For reals, YUMMMMMMMMMM! Can’t go wrong with this place!

My second time at this location, Bad customer service from Reise, Raise not sure what her name was. she won’t give you the service you deserve as a paying customer. Food was good, I enjoyed it. I gave 1 star just because I believe i great customer service.

Great customer service and extremely fast turnaround! This place has not disappointed yet. About a 10 min walk from work both ways but with an hour lunch break, I’m able to comfortably enjoy my burger and not feel hurried.

Their cooks can’t keep the breakfast menu straight and the burgers are just so-so.

I admit that this review of the Red Robin’s Burger Works is a little late because my visit was over 8 – 9 days ago. It was not easy for me to rate this Red Robins Burger works(near the Farragut North Metro station) only two stars because I normally enjoy burgers and the workers there were extremely nice. I stopped by Red Robins after an event I attended because of my previous positive experience with a Red Robins(I had enjoyed a burger from Red Robins back around 2008 when my husband and I visited a location in Williamsburg, Virginia). I ordered the sautéed shroom burger with the sweet potato fries. The pros; both the cashier and server were extremely friendly and my order came out quick within less than 4 minutes-hence the two stars for great customer service. However, the sweet potato fries tasted like they were put in some oil that did not agree with the sweet potato flavor(in addition to the thai chili ketchup clashing with the taste of the sweet potatoe fries) and the burger was not cooked enough to my liking-however in the servers defense I forgot to make it clear when I ordered the burger how I wanted it cooked(I was not asked but I should have known better to remember to ask). If I ever came back-due to at least the polite customer service– I might see how the regular potato fries taste first and remember to emphasize how I want my burger cooked.

Tasteless burgers Just don’t bother There are too many other decent to excellent burger places in the city compared to this place. The burger patty is just plain tasteless. I even tried the bacon avocado burger. The avocado is a green paste not actual avocado slices like one expects. Save your cash. Heck even a fast food burger from BK, Wendy’s, McD or Hardee’s is better. IJS

Finally, a Red Robin in DC. After seeing the commercials on TV and going to their website and only finding one a state away, I was pleasantly surprised to be at 19th and K and there before my eyes was Red Robin. I’ve since learned that this location is on another website– Red Robin’s Burger Works, never heard of it before. This location for sure needs to be on the regular site because no one knows it’s in DC. Anyhow, first time ever stepping foot inside of one and I’m blown away. Spotless and clean, neat, extremely friendly and staff that walk out from behind the counter and ask how your meal is. Are you kidding me? How amazing to see such kindness to customers. I’ve had a few of their burgers and the Tavern Double is spot on the winner for sure. The Gourmet Burger is nice, their fries are hot, fresh and yummy. I can’t get enough of their Freckled Lemonade. What’s in it? It is slurp’n to die for. I will say, whoever is running this location has all the right ingredient’s for a successful business plan as far as I’m concerned. I’d nominated them and this location for an award any day. I need to do a milkshake though, it’s on my list. Okay, I’ve glowed enough. I’m a fan and will return again and again.

Worst service EVER. After waiting for a long period of time for our food, we see tables that came in after us being served before us. The cashier came by and told us that«there was a mix-up with your bun.» After patiently waiting even longer for the food, it gets to us and is almost completely incorrect. The manager comes by and asks us how our food is… we say: «Pretty terrible; it’s almost completely wrong.» She then says«Great! Okay!» and walks to another table to ask them how their food is doing. We sit in total shock that she didn’t even pay attention to us and just kept going. She finally sees my complete and utter look of anger on my face, walks back and asks what’s wrong and I tell her that we indicated that there was a problem. She offers to fix it and we agree; after waiting almost 20 minutes for an order of fries, we decided to leave. Upon leaving, the clerk indicates for us to go to the counter to collect our fries — they didn’t even want to provide basic service to us. We walk out the door and I call for the store manager’s phone number — they refuse to provide it. I turn and look back inside — they’re all laughing and joking. I call back again and ask for the regional manager’s voicemail — they refuse to provide that as well. Finally, after furiously waiting, they decide to provide me the store manager’s phone number(mind you, I waited almost 10 minutes for it). I call the store manager and he doesn’t even care; he acts as if nothing’s wrong. Not only were we completely ignored, we were treated with disrespect and the staff was highly unprofessional. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant again… EVER!

I went there for the first time today. It will be my last as well. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. I’m allergic to sesame seeds so I ordered the wheat bread. Apparently there is something in the bread(or their ingredients that didn’t agree with me). I had to pop an allergy pill half-way through eating this«burger.» I was disappointed to see once I removed the top bun it was made sloppy and very unappealing to the eye. There was so much mayo my buns were sliding as I tried to eat this thing. The steak fries were ok, definitely nothing special. I went there after 2 so there was no line which I guess was good but now I’m having cramps and I’m sure its from eating this gross food. I cannot recommend any stars nor would I recommend my worse enemy to visit this establishment. Hey Red Robin Manager, I want my $ 9.33 refunded and an apology…

Since my first visit to Red Robin’s Burger Works, I’ve come back on numerous occasions for lunch to try out their regular menu. My favorite would be the Royal Red Robin Burger(fried egg and bacon… awesome!). I also highly recommend their side salad as a healthier side option, and I enjoy their Freckled Lemonade as well.

For being a chain, I love Red Robin burgers and shakes. It was exciting for one to be built downtown. It replaced boloco, which lost its unique appeal really fast. The menu is limited, but I always felt that the regular menu was too big anyways. They’re insanely fast with their food. I always want the royal red and a mint brownie shake. I’ll wind up in a food coma afterward, but it’s soooo worth it.

Ate Red Robin all the time as a kid in NY and was excited to try this location when it opened. Just tried and wow, talk about terrible customer service. 45 minutes after I ordered someone who worked there asked me if I had been helped. Then I discovered they hadn’t even begun cooking my burger. At that point I asked for a refund which they seemed surprised by. They begrudgingly gave me the refund, but did not offer anything else to make up for the mistake. Can’t speak to the quality of the food, but I can tell you they have horrible customer service.

Stopped in for lunch today. Not bad, not great. Definitely not the same quality as I get at Red Robin restaurants. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and drink. Came out very fast, but saw they gave me wrong order– cheeseburger, no bacon. The fries are in a standing cup in the tray(baaaad idea) so they spilled everywhere when I picked up the tray to bring it back. They did quickly make me a new burger with bacon and gave me new fries. Honestly I won’t be back, not because of the mistake but because the taste and quality I was expecting from this brand is definitely not there. I can make a better bacon burger at home. And they drown the burger in mayo-ask for it on side if you want it.

I ate here with coworkers and we had a good time. We came right before the lunch rush. This place is okay. It tasted good because I hadn’t had a burger in weeks. Stupid diet. But I got a burger and steak fries with a mint brownie shake. The shake was good and worth suffering through the war it will declare on my digestion but hit the spot. Thought it was a little too pricey but I don’t go out to eat that often.

Thought it was red Robin but it’s not actually red Robin it’s just a burger place that has the same name but not the same menu The food wasn’t as good as if you went to the real red Robin But with that being said the food was okay but I don’t think I’d go there again

Came to try the«fast food» red robin for lunch. Ordered the clucks and fries… Lunch was tasty, but service was a bit slow. Hopefully they will get those links worked out.

Pretty extensive line to order, although it wasn’t too bad in turns of moving. I had my free Red Robin birthday burger coupon, which they refused to honor since they weren’t actually Red Robin, or something like that. I got the triple tavern burger, which wound up being around $ 6. Sadly, the burger was no where near as good as the real Red Robin. You also don’t get the unlimited fries included, either. This location is barely a «Yum» and definitely not a «Yummmmmm.»

Unlike every other red robin, there seem to be no vegan options here. The employees don’t know about their ingredients, the nutritional information, or allergen information. Standard red robins have vegan burgers that are cooked on a separate grill. They don’t have that product here and they weren’t willing to cook the mushroom sandwich on a separate grill. You can get a vegan burger at red robin in po’dunk Arkansas, but you can’t in DC. I suggest passing until they get a clue. They don’t even post their allergens online

I’d eaten at Red Robin but not at the new«Burger Works» so I tried this one downtown today with friends. The line was almost out the door(very Chipotle-like wait and order), but moved pretty quickly. For being burgers, I was actually SHOCKED at how quickly our orders were brought to the table. The Royal Red Robin burger was awesome — the patty, bun and toppings were all great, with the bun not being crumbly or dense at all. We also had people stop by and ‘quality check’ to see if we needed anything at our table, which I wasn’t expecting — great service for a ‘quick serve’ meal. Only complaint: the ‘dump your trash and tray’ station next to the door had a super small hole and it was hard to neatly put my stuff/trash away — kind of awkward and messy. Overall great experience and we will come back!

Burgers-R-Us! I ordered their Tavern Double burger and a side of fries. The meal came fast and was delicious. They arranged the lettuce, tomato, cheese, and 1000 island sauce perfectly.(I am picky with how my burger is arranged). They also have a wide variety of burgers and can substitute chicken for beef. The fries when ordered to go are plenty and are good tasting steak fries. This particular area of DC needed a good burger place, the deities have answered our prayers!
