I think Red Loft is slightly better than average ballpark bar. If you get a good spot, you can see the outfield and probably watch most of the game from there. My wife and I came in here prior to the game starting and the blast of AC felt awesome. We grabbed seats at the bar and enjoyed a couple of beers. No domestic lights on tap — pretty much all micros and imports which I actually thought was pretty strange for a stadium but not necessarily bad. I had a couple of Yuenglings and I believe they were $ 8 each which is a little steep but not totally bad for a stadium. The bartender working was incredibly efficient so you did not have to wait long for your drink. If I came to Nationals Ballpark on a frequent basis, I am sure that I would hit this place up each time.

They have a nice setup at the Red Loft Bar overlooking the outfield. Not too crowded, beers are the same price as the rest of the stadium, great view, and lots of people getting their drink on. You can go down the stairs to get better beers at the inside bar and bring them up. A little exercise at a sporting event never hurts, do the steps twice and you will almost be as fit as some of the ball players(5’10″, 270 pounds, what?). Next time I go back to Nats stadium I will buy the cheapest ticket I can, because I will probably just be hanging out here the whole time(maybe short visit to Ben’s).
