This is the best delivery pizza in the area. Their ingredients are organic and the pizzas are great. VERY vegetarian friendly. Very creative toppings(the roasted eggplant is particularly tasty). The subs are also solid: very fresh and you can add tons of toppings(including caramelized onions, sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers). Delivery has always been consistently fast. The wings aren’t bad, either. The slices are solid, too, but I recommend the specialty pizzas. 5 stars because of taste, consistency, variety of toppings, and pizza quality.

The menu they have hanging in the restaurant in old and show cheaper prices than the food actually costs. It’s expensive and not nearly as good as it costs

We decided to order in after a very long and exhausting day exploring DC. We ordered a white pie with Italian sausage and a farmers market pizza. They gave us very good service over the phone and were on time with the delivery. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for fresh pizza. The only improvement would be a thicker crust to hold up the all the wonderful toppings– but hey we can use a fork!

Delivery was timely. However, the pizza was just ok. I ordered a 2-topping large pizza, and it was not flavorful. Overall, it was fairly disappointing.

If you aren’t from DC beware – the slices are HUGE! Each is like its own small pizza. We came for a late night snack and got two slices of cheese. They were just ok. There was a little too much cheese and it was overall kind of flavorless. We would have preferred smaller and cheaper slices. But it’s open til 3AM and sometimes you just gotta munch!

This place is so convenient to our condo and their pizza is superb. We have only ordered the extra large thin crust pepperoni. Our only gripe is that it is so good and we eat it so quick that we are still hungry after! We are looking forward to trying the hand tossed pizza and the calzones. Great crust, great cheese and amazing sauce, the sauce is my favorite.

Horrible customer service! The owner is so rude. Our order was incorrect and they fixed it however we asked for mozzarella sticks and got cheese bread. The owner had the audacity to tell us to learn to order correctly. I can’t believe it. We won’t be ordering here again or our friends.

Horrible customer service. Way too expensive. Take your business elsewhere. I ordered a large half and half specialty pizza for pick up. The person who took my order over the phone did not tell me the price, but I assumed it was $ 18.99 based on the website. The website does not say there is an added charge for a half and half pizza(nor should there be, as it is the same amount of ingredients). I sent my boyfriend over to pick it up and he came back saying, «wow, that was an expensive pizza!» When I called in to find out why it was $ 27.54, the person who I talked to simply said that there is a $ 5 charge for half and half and that it’s always been that way. I explained that I had no notice of this, as a first time customer and that it was not posted on their website and that no one notified me of the up-charge. They said there was nothing they could do. If they would have simply refunded the $ 5 and apologized for the confusion, they wouldn’t have just lost 2 customers. We live on the same block, but no amount of convenience will bring us back here.

Have tried this place three times and came away disappointed each time. Customer service and staff are unhelpful at best, prices are surprisingly unreasonable, and most importantly, the pizza is uniformly awful. Tasteless hard crust, gooey bland cheese, and spicy sloppy sauce. Don’t understand how they’re still in business — lack of competition in the neighborhood, I guess. Would avoid. Try takeout at Ella’s or Pi in Chinatown for higher quality pizza(at a similar price) or just order Papa John’s…

Wow the slices are huge! Shared a slice to go, and it was so big they had to fold it over for it to fit in the pizza box it was nestled in. We took it to go and it held up well for the short walk back to our hotel. It was definitely NY style, with thin crispy crust but still pliable enough to fold over. The sauce and toppings tasted decent. The price was around $ 7 and the single slice is about the equivalent size of a personal sized pizza. The dessert freezer looked tempting here as they had several NY and Italian desserts and a whole section of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.

This little hole in the wall is kind of unreal. It is only a few blocks from us so we walked over and attempted to order a pizza to carry out. The cashier stood there super annoyed the whole time while we tried to decide what to order. There was no one else in the store and we weren’t holding anyone up. We let her know we had never ordered from them before and she just looked at us with a blank stare and made no suggestions. We finally decided on a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza and she told us our total. I was really confused because it was almost $ 10 more than the menu price. I asked why it was so expensive and she said with a really snotty attitude that it’s because we ordered a half and half pizza. I have never heard such a thing before. So you are going to charge us almost $ 10 more to remember not to put pepperoni on half the pizza??? And where does it mention that on the menu? What the heck kind of scam is that. Anyways, we told her never mind on the order and took our business to the Asian joint on the corner which was really good and the lady was crazy nice. Stay away from this pizza place. It’s overpriced pizza and the staff has a bad attitude. You can do much better.

The photos on the website do not depict the actual food that arrives. The pizza is papa johns quality. The hand tossed crust that they advertise was definately tossed somewhere, like the factory where it was made, but not in the store. The large cesear salad arrived with one packet of Paul Newman’s dressing. Everything frozen then put in a warming oven. Yuk!

We ordered fresh mozzarella and you gave us regular mozzarella. Probably an honest mistake, but you compounded that by lying to our faces and saying that there was both fresh and regular mozzarella. There were no fresh mozzarella clumps to be seen or tasted! Horrible customer service. Never coming here again. Ever. It’s not that hard to please people at 2AM yet they managed to mess this up. Get it right the first time. If you dont, then correct it. And if not that, at least don’t lie to your patrons.

Pizzoli’s is a good neighborhood pizza place! I live near Pizzoli’s and had a late night craving for pizza, and it was a short stroll to there(and on a nice balmy night!). The Margherita pizza was pretty delicious. Also grabbed some mozzarella sticks and wings which were exactly what I needed. Portions were large enough for me and my bae to have breakfast this morning. They also had a 10% off special for orders over $ 20, which was nice. Would return!

Ordered a jumbo slice that they advertise late night but was told they could only put through a small pizza starting at $ 13.99. Order a gyro for $ 7.99 and was told only pizza. So I ordered a ‘gourmet’ calzone for $ 13.99 and was charged over $ 17. Live a block away and will not be back.

Wow, this place is the worst. My office used to order from them all the time. Often enough that they knew who I was when I called. Well, for a going-away party for a co-worker, we ordered delivery. When it was 15 minutes after the scheduled time, I called and was told it would be there in 5 minutes, the driver had just left. Well, long, long story short, after many phone calls and an hour standing outside my office waiting, they told me … they were tracking the wrong order, and had totally forgotten my order! So the guy on the phones says they will make it rush and bring it ASAP, and that we will get a full refund. Okay, I appreciate the honesty and effort. The delivery arrives. He hands me a receipt for the full cost. I ask why, and he says that they«don’t do refunds» as policy. I had printed out the order confirmation emails from them as proof of the order, since he was disputing I had even placed the order! He tried to say that maybe I had never placed the order… but once I showed him the multiple order confirmations, he switched his story to «we just got a new order system.» He then told me to call the manager, he is just a poor guy delivering pizza. Okay, fine. I called the manager. Every day for 2 weeks. Every single time I called, he was«out.» I don’t know how many times someone«took my name down.» So in the end, I paid full price for pizzas that came over an hour late. For an office full of people. Gathered, waiting for a scheduled lunch. Also, their pizza is greasy and floppy. Really disgusting.

This place is absolutely horrendous. From the delivery service to the pizza all just disgusting. I ordered one large pizza that was half hunger buster and half farmers market for a whopping $ 30.84. The pizza came and it was downright disgusting. grease was dripping off the pizza. It had no structure to it, as soon as you picked it up the whole thing fell apart. Not only did it look like crap it also tasted like crap. To add to this horrible experience, I ended up getting ripped off on the delivery price. It clearly stated on the receipt there was a $ 5 delivery service fee. When I asked the delivery guy he said«oh we dont get that $ 5, the owners get that it, you have to tip» I called the store to double check and the manager confirmed that they had no such policy. Biggest effin scam artists ive ever seen. The delivery guy had to be high becuz he was wondering across the steet not realizing. he had the address wrong the entire time. Avoid this place like the plague and tell your friends NOTTOGOHERE!!! UPDATE: this one goes out to Mr.Gani. I guess who is the manager/owner of the retauarant. Instead of coming on Unilocal with your broken english and half assed comments that dont make any sense, how about you actually train your staff, get better delivery guys and possibly make BETTER food. I have seen all of your comments toward unhappy customers. Instead of attacking them, how about you listen to their complaints. You might possibly take a step or two toward having a successful business. Anyone in their right mind can tell how poorly put together, greasy and disgusting this pizza is from that photo. Sad thing is you and your pizza have ALOT in common. Quit while you still have a chance.

STOPDONOTORDERFROMTHISPLACE! ! So we are on vacation staying at a hotel and decided to stay in New Years day and order pizza first sign that I shouldn’t have ordered from this place was the horrible rude person on the phone. After 15 min I placing my order of $ 45 the delivery driver wanted me to go down to the street and pick it up from him because«he didn’t think the hotel would let him come up». After assuring him he could the food finally arrives and the pizza had no freaking flavor, the chicken wings were a bucket of oil with chicken flouting in it and the desserts seemed that they were thrown around. I guess they also assumed you eat cake with your fingers while staying in a hotel. THEWORSTEXPERIENCEEVERSTAYAWAYANDORDERFROMANOTHERPLACE I am also posting pictures because I am so upset

Had this delivered to a local hotel this past Tuesday night and was so disappointed! Ordered mozzerella sticks & spaghetti w/meatballs. It took well over an hour to get the food(on 14th/Mass). The mozz sticks were hard and cold, marinara was cold, the spaghetti was kind of crusty and the meatballs tasted super processed. I ended up eating about 1⁄6th and then walking to Zoup instead. Even the delivery guy was rude. Maybe should have stuck to just ordering pizza. Would not order from here again.

Ok, so me, my sister and my nephew were all in dire need of good eats after taking him to his check up at the cancer institute(don’t worry — clean bill of health!!!) All that waiting, though, really worked up an appetite. I got on my trusty Unilocal app to see what was close, well priced, and reviewed well and we found this gem! It’s small, and since it was raining we were very lucky to snag the only table inside(their outside patio seating would have been awesome on a nice day!) Everything looked amazing, so it was tough to choose. I got the spinach & artichoke sub with spicy fries(technically just seasoned fries — they were scrumptious, but not spicy). Sis got a simple, small cheese pizza and my nephew got a Philly cheesesteak sub. We all agreed our food was DELICIOUS! Nephew said it was better than his fav PCS he gets at a restaurant close to home, Sis said she would give her pizza 6 stars!!! And that’s saying A LOT(she is annoyingly picky!!) my sub was unique, tasty, and I so appreciated all the vegetarian options for me to choose from! When we are in DC next, we will def. stop here!
