I love dominos pizza. If I am looking for pizza I always get from dominos(1300 L st nw) I shop from this location several times a week but yesterday night around 9:30 pm I ordered large pizza for pick up as always and she(the cashier) told me it will be ready in 10 mins so I get there after 10 min and paid but I had to wait for 30 mins(total 40 min.) then finally she(the cashier) gave me a cold pizza because the pizza has been ready and sitting there for a while because she was busy playing on her phone. Finally I told her that the pizza is cold and she put it in the oven and gave me and I asked her why she didn’t give me on time because the pizza was ready on time. Let alone to say sorry she didn’t even pay attention to me. I was like Wow and decided not to go there again. There is another pizza place down the street a lot of options around but as much as I like dominos I hated.

I have been consistently charged in my credit card with unauthorized tips of $ 3 on top of my $ 15 medium pizza order. I wrote to the store but I received no reply, and I called several times but they have a recorded message and don’t answer my calls. Never again buying form this store. Plus, they never deliver the pizzas to the door, I always have to come down to the lobby even with a sprained ankle.

Absolutely horrible. We waited nearly 2 hours for our food. Never again … Such a waste

This was delivered to my friends and I after we had already requested a new pizza because the previous one was incorrect. This is unacceptable and to add to the situation the wait time exceed the quoted time by a half an hour. As someone who works within the industry the presentation was horrible and I can not respect this business for producing such work and allowing it to be sold. On the bright side the delivery man was polite yet nonchalant as well as the manger that was on duty(I believe her name was Carina).

After an hour & a half my delivery guy brought me me my wings. Thirty minutes later he brought me my pizza. Then I nuked every slice & wing I ate in abject desperation. Best experience ever…

Repeatedly I have seen pizza delivery guys on bikes from this Domino’s location going the opposite way down one-way streets, riding the wrong direction in bike lanes, and riding without lights of any kind at night. Their work uniforms are dark colored and you likely aren’t going to see them approaching until the last second. How ignorant does a business have to be to think that this behavior by their employees is acceptable? Sadly, this seems par for the course at this location.

Called for delivery — extremely rude. Go elsewhere, because DC is full of better places and better service.

After reading some of the reviews, I can relate to the other reviews when they say the person behind the counter doesn’t know the prices for the specials. One time, I ordered 3 medium 2 topping pizzas and the guy told me the total was over $ 30 dollars. I almost fell outta my seat thinking Domino’s had ended that long promotional. Everyone who frequents Domino’s knows that the medium 2 topping pizzas are always $ 5.99 each when you purchase at least 2 of them. That’s what put Domino’s back on the map and it’s what they’re known for. I asked him if he was inserting the totals correctly and after a few minutes of playing around with his computer, the totals finally reflected what I intended to pay and that was around $ 20 bucks. But anyway, the pizza was delivered quick. Only took about 30 minutes to arrive. Domino’s is Domino’s. Nothing fancy. It tasted great and it got the job done. I like how this location delivers the pizza on a bicycle. It makes things quick and nifty. I hope they hire some more employees because I believe the guy who delivered my pizza was the only other person on duty that day.

Leaving the Convention Center late one night, I did something I hadn’t done in many years — ordered Domino’s. I figured since they were only two blocks away from my hotel, they couldn’t mess up the delivery.(I obviously hadn’t read the Unilocal reviews.) In my case, the delivery came on time from a courteous, friendly driver. The pizza? Well, it’s Domino’s. But late at night, it will do.

Review for carryout @ lunchtime. I can’t speak for the delivery service, but I work across the street from this Dominos and I frequently order the lunch carryout special by phone(not available on the web site — which is frustrating) which gets you a two topping small pizza for $ 5.99. This can last you for two lunches if you save half for the next day, which makes it an incredible deal. The pizza is almost always ready in 10 minutes and the people are courteous. Like others have said — not overly enthusiastic, but not rude. I’ve always been pleased with the quality of the pizza. Domino’s product has clearly improved in quality. My pizza is almost always hot and they do prepare them freshly on the spot. Now, if they could just get the Lunch Carryout Special back onto , that would be great. That hasn’t worked for more than a year. Back when that worked, you could know exactly when your pizza went into the oven, was ready, etc.

It’s too bad that 0 stars isn’t an option, or negative stars for that matter. This particular Domino’s was the worst experience with any food place that my boyfriend and I have ever had. We placed our order at 7:01PM and it arrived at 9:20PM. Yes, nearly 2.5 hours later. I tried calling the store(which it says I should do if I had a question about my order) 11 times to no avail. No one answered. The medium pan pizza was cold and disgusting. It was clear that it had been sitting in the delivery guy’s car for over an hour, at least. The molten lava cake was smaller than the size of my fist — nothing what it looks like in the picture on the website(not to mention, they were burnt). The breadsticks tasted good for about 2 minutes until they were completely cold. The best part of the order was the bag of Doritos… you can’t really mess that up. I would never ever ever suggest going here, even if it’s your last option. Stay far away and choose literally anything else.

Per everyone else’s feedback, don’t do delivery from here. Spend your money elsewhere. They’ve ruined just about every delivery order I’ve ever placed and I live 2BLOCKS from the store. Save yourself the frustration and support a local, better, more reliable pizzeria.

It’s not a mystery that you’re not going to get high end service at Dominos but it’s the worst when the cashier doesn’t even know the price of her products and then tries to argue that you’re wrong about the costs when you’re clearly right. It took a little convincing to let her understand that she inputted the information incorrectly but we eventually got there. In the future, I’ll be making my order online.

I’ve ordered lunch delivery from Domino’s(store #4336, 1330 L Street, NW) multiple times and with great success. I use the online ordering system which is very convenient and ensures my food order details are clearly communicated. Also, the bill, delivery charge, and taxes are clearly indicated and I can pay online so there’s no hassle with the bill when the delivery is made. Plus, the online tracker is very accurate and I can anticipate when the delivery will show at my building. Because I work in a secured building, my account details include instructions for delivery. The pizzas have always been perfectly made and arrive hot and delicious. I’m sorry other patrons have experienced problems but I have not and would highly recommend this location for lunch deliveries.

Delivery review: I’d probably give Domino’s on 13th a 2.5 stars, but I went with 3. I usually only order when I don’t feel like cooking or going out to grab something. I can’t hate them, despite the issues with delivery, as their usual deal of $ 5.99ea for two items on their menu is a fantastic deal(and those new chicken specialty bites were surprisingly very tasty!). However, every time I have ordered delivery from here,(1) it takes at least an hour(even if they quote, like they did tonight, 25 – 30 minutes) and(2) something is forgotten. Finally, after paying for extra side sauces every time they’ve forgotten them, I called and asked for a refund. Fingers-crossed that I’m not getting charged 2x on my credit card!

Their delivery service is awful. I’ve ordered 3 times. The first was so lazy that he didn’t even want to get out of the car and expected me to walk across the street to his car to get the food. The 2nd time half the order was lost and then the third, they forgot the soda and side order. Their customer service is the worstt.

I can’t speak for delivery here only carryout. I’d have to say this location is convenient if you’re close. Like walking distance close, as trying to find parking might give you a headache. The store is clean, and the staff was friendly and professional. Sometimes things can be a little slow here but not too bad. They have specials often which makes it worth it, as I don’t think any of the products are worth full price. Fell in line with every other Domino’s in the area. Nothing spectacular. Nothing bad.

I ordered and paid for two pizzas online(one pizza was with an online coupon). Delivery showed up in well under 30 minutes in our hotel lobby. It was hot, perfectly cooked and exactly how we ordered it. Toppings were plentiful without being too dense. It is the best pizza around? Probably not, but I don’t know. We were visiting DC and I didn’t want to walk a half mile each way to do carryout. No place else seemed to do delivery in the area. Did my young kids love it and was it reasonably priced? Absolutely. Would I do it again next time we are in DC? Absolutely.

Placed a similar order as last time: two pizzas and sixteen parmesan bites with similar results: the tracker said it would take 26 — 36 minutes, and I got my call that delivery was at the building 33 minutes later. Bf met the delivery guy and came back with two pizzas. They forgot the parmesan bites so I had to call and ask for it. The delivery guy came back in less than 10 minutes with it. They should really check the order and make sure what they’re handing over to customers is complete and correct. Annoyed with this place but late night and cheap and the pizza was piping hot, and the bites were delicious.

I’ve ordered from this Dominoes a few times. Their pizza quality is surprisingly inconsistent; usually I know what I’m getting from Dominoes but this location tends to deliver 20 – 40 minutes later than they tell you and the pizza is luke warm or worse. Last time I ordered from here, the crust was undercooked and the pizza was cool to the touch. Waste of $ 15 as raw pizza dough is pretty unpleasant. Delivery charge is $ 2. If you have a choice, order from the other downtown location.
