Horrible customer service. Took forever to get our food because to took our order to another table and the manager and the waiters were arguing Next to all the tables. Not professional at all. Great restaurant chain but this one is managed poorly.

Games scam is enough to keep me away from this location. If there is no price, how can they charge for playing tablet games? Dishonest business.

Live in the area… Stopped by for a burger and experienced okay service until a group of men came in that our server gravitated to for some reason. My wife and I continued to receive okay service while the other table was treated like royalty. Then came in an African American woman with her daughter she got seated and I noticed NOBODY came to help her for more than 10 minutes! While they were working around her… Cleaning and checking on other tables I’ve worked in the restaurant industry when I was younger and it totally looked like they just didn’t want to help her I asked her if anybody has said anything to her and she said no they just keep walking passed me. When she brought it to the managers attention they made it seem like it was no big deal and kept making faces like she was crazy. We also told the manager that she was correct and we didn’t feel it was rite and we got an «okay, whatever» response btw my wife and I are Hispanic. Definitely felt some type of discrimination We WILL NOT be back. I have zero tolerance for that

I really like Johnny Rocket’s food, but this location was totally unacceptable.
Took a cab to this restaurant as my destination for a fun dinner.
There was a panhandler literally laying down in the entranceway. A Johnny’s employee or «bouncer» was standing at the door carrying on a conversation with him. I had to step over him and put up with his ramblings.
About 25% of the tables were not occupied (ie moderately busy). However, I was seated and waited 15 minutes and no one came to even give me a glass of water. Needless to say, I left and no one cared or asked me why.
I will never return and probably go to Five Guys in other markets if I have a choice.

Don’t play the games at the table. They charge you $.25 each game. It’s very deceiving… the game is up when you sit down at the table, so of course you’re going to play. It’s designed to con kids into playing and make the parents pay. Rip off!

Totally disgusted by Johnny Rockets of Georgetown for placing Presto tabletop tablets on each table loaded with child friendly games and then CHARGING ME $ 5.00 for the 20 games (@ $.25/​each) the kids played during a 30 minute dinner. Uh hello — SIGNAGE people!!! Totally taking advantage of the little people since it doesn’t require parental consent or coins, and pissing off the parents for the scam. BTW my kids are pretty good at video games so there is no way they could lose that many games so quickly. The waiter was completely unapologetic when I pointed this it. I suspect they bank on leeching off the tourists at this location who won’t return anyway. Definitely won’t be back. The Shirlington location is much nicer and doesn’t have the tablets.

Perfect spot for families that are indecisive. I went with my parents around noon and it was packed, but surprisingly the wait wasn’t long and we were seated shortly. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was a tad bit slow, but I’m assuming that was due to the12 o’clock rush.
The food was pretty good. I enjoyed the fries, I’m not much of a burger person so the burger was just ok. Prices were a little more expensive than expected, but I am from out of town.
All in all, okay place to go to, but probably could find better.

The food is ok… The prices are to high! Not unless I need to stop by. But, I doubt it.

The chicken cheesesteak was awful! It was basically unseasoned chicken breast on a roll. I won’t ever go back again.

Classic Johnny Rockets diner with juke boxes and bright red bar stools. We sat at the bar, so service was quick. Oreo milk shake was excellent and the Houston burger was delicious.

So the food is good. The food is great.
However the service is slow. There were only 3 other groups. However the food took a while. They also ran out of their sauce. Once the food came the service was much better.
Their restrooms aren’t that great. It seems very dirty and the water doesn’t work very well.

Delicious Route 66 burger topped with fresh mushrooms and melted cheese. And don’t forget the chocolate malt-​shake. This place caught my eye while roaming Georgetown because of the «Happy Days» diner ambiance. Wanted a cool place to eat and relax on a hot, muggy day. All the right ingredients for a fun, restful food stop! Wish I has more room to try desserts !

Good food, attentive, friendly service. Free coloring books, crayons and hats for the kids.

For a place that is famous for burgers, their burgers were plain and dry. Their service was horrible and their food was over priced. This is one of the worst places I’ve eaten. I would have given this place a 1 Star BUT however, their Bacon Cheese Fries were a hit.
I wouldn’t eat here again or suggest this place to friends/​family

Johnny Rockets is the ultimate mother holy grail of sweet potato fries, my friend.
I’ve been here 3 times, and each time I get their fries and the fries only. Crisped to perfection and flavored to sublimity, they are a hit. Every. Single. Time.
Except for that one time in the middle when I made the unfortunate decision to try their peppermint shake, and blergh. It literally tasted like a glop of too thick, too sweet milk.
Our waiter was also a little on the snarky side, and helloooo 15 minutes for water? At 11 pm when there aren’t that many people to begin with?
They’re doing a favor for mankind with their sweet potato fries, but they definitely stop right there. Also, get them to go if you can — the portion is wayyyy bigger than the dine in portion.

Let me just start by saying… I used to LOVE this place, back maybe 7 years ago? The food used to be good, the atmosphere used to be fun, and the service used to be great.
I recently stopped in after not having had been here for years — and it was a pretty unappetizing experience.
The place had become very dingy, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting, the service was mediocre, and the food was not great. I ordered cheese and bacon on top of my order of stale fries — and the bacon tasted like it had been out for days and just thrown on in clumps. To add insult to injury, I found a piece of hair in my food. Overall, I left with a bad aftertaste in my mouth, and I won’t be back again.

A great place for the family (full of little ones) when looking to dine in Georgetown, noted for its posh dining experiences. So I can still hit M Street as a Mom and have a ball with the kids. This place is especially useful now that the mall is being renovated FOREVER!!!
I LOATHE public restrooms; however with kids its sometimes an unavoidable truth. The bathrooms here were spacious and clean, Thank God.
Service was straight forward (nothing spectacular).
The food was on point. We got simple burgers and fries. Thanks for the ketchup happy face. :)
