Hard Rock Cafe

Service was terrible. They were very nice but super slow, barely stopped by the table, lots of talking to each other up front, and it took about 15 mins just to get the check and pay. Then they shorted my friend on her change. There were a lot of open tables so it wasn’t that busy either. Very disappointing first and last time. Food was good though.

Not really impressed by this Hard Rock Café. I’m on a 2 day trip with my parents and we decided to check the one in Washington out. First of all, the waitress didn’t know if they served Gingerale or not, secondly we never got the appetizer we ordered, after we saw our entrees come out we didn’t even bother asking about the appetizer. We got seated next to a huge party and it was tight and uncomfortable, there were like 20 tables open away from them. Overall, the food quality was good, I got the honey mustard grilled chicken sandwich, which was delicious. I asked for no bacon but got bacon, oh well. The décor here isn’t really that impressive either. I guess I expected it to be good since its Washington, D.C., don’t really recommend coming here if you’re visiting.

On the day we went the waiter was slow because it was super busy. The food was timely and wonderful.
This location continues the wonderful tradition of the hard rock café!

We went over Dec 31^st to have an early dinner at 6 PM, everything was bad, 30 minutes waiting to be seated with plenty of tables, food was bad, service was terrible, it seemed to have inexperienced waiters and everything looked dirty… awful!

Visiting DC for the holidays. Needed a decent place to eat for lunch. Most of the places I researched were cafeteria style seating, not very good for kids. Stumbled upon the Hardrock so decided to try. It’s very touristy and the prices were extreme. Had a beer, was very flat, the food was subpar. Our waiter was amazing and the music was nostalgic. I gave a 3 star for the food.

After having a terrible meal and appetizer there the 26^th of December, we went back there today the 29^th of December and the Hot wings were the best I have ever had at any Hard Rock Café and the rest of the meal was really good. Back on my favs list! Thanks for a great meal and service! Happy New Year!

Always find hard rock good and consistent. Good food. Fun atmosphere. I get a lot of rewards $ from staying at the hotel in Orlando so good to grab some free stuff. I have the vip membership so for $ 30 I get good amount of rewards points and first available seating, which has come in handy sometimes.

I really appreciated the service here but the food felt like microwave food.
There are many other options near ford’s theatre and this was the one with the smaller wait time (now i know why).
I paid 14.95 for a drink and got to take home the mug — yay.
the Fajitas were swimming in onions and there is something seriously wrong with the ladie’s restroom, the odor is insane.
I would not recommend it, maybe go for drinks but not food.
The bar is free seating, no wait at the bar.

Are you going to remember this meal for a while to come? No. You probably won’t readily recall it just a few days from now, unless you’re specifically asked. The restaurant’s environment is rather boring honestly. There’s nothing special to see or do within its walls.
However, I received friendly service from a waiter who was personable and prompt. He provided good info regarding the menu, and kept up with drink refills. I had no complaints regarding my experience.
The food was good as well. We had salads, nachos, potato skins, burgers and fries. Everything was served hot and with good flavor. Nothing was the best we’ve ever eaten, but I’d visit again. It’s a four star establishment based on it’s intended purpose — serving reasonably priced American food.

Poor quality food. Do not bring a group here, they serve food that could be easily obtained at a fast food restaurant. And with large group they require payment in advance, so they really were not concerned that the food was substandard.
Very disappointed.
Our waitress Liz however, was excellent. The only positive part of this experience.

This is a place that you come to more for the atmosphere than you do the food. The place is large on the inside… a little noisy but it’s the Hard Rock. You’re there to rock out right? Music is playing and there is all kinds of memorabilia affixed to the walls. I ordered up a few brews on draft and had the Modelo Especial Bacon Cheeseburger. It was pretty awesome I must say in the way of burgers. I was pretty impressed with the overall flavor. Ordered it medium rare like you’re supposed to. Gift shop has some nice t shirts for sale and you have the option to purchase a souvenir glass during your meal. There was some shitbag parasite inside the entrance bothering customers… you know, the kind missing teeth – smoking crack rock probably a likely cause. Personnel should have directed him outside. Other than that, good spot, good food, fun times.

Oh my goodness, when someone enters a restaurant they might want a friendly greeting. Is that too much to ask for? I’m not asking for red carpet treatment, but seriously at least be nice!
When I arrived there we weren’t greeted, then when I asked to sit at a different table the lady was rude, like I killed her dog or something. Mind you, I was there on a Thursday night, and it wasn’t that busy at all. I understand people might have a bad day, we all have those. That being said, it doesn’t give anyone the right to treat customers/​humans poorly. Ok I’m done with that part. Lol
The food on the other hand was totally ok. It didn’t rock my world that’s for sure. I have been to different Hard Rock Café’s all over the world. It is my thing, to go to every Hard Rock in every city/​country I visit. This location was the worst. I was disappointed especially being in D.C. and downtown I expected good food, and better treatment.
Our waitress on the other hand was very very nice, and very helpful. She made the experience better by being friendly, helpful, and NICE!

I was pretty bummed when my family wanted to eat here for lunch, but as it turned out I liked my meal. Service was pretty prompt and they did a good job of attending to my large party. I ordered the ceaser salad (I recomend asking them to go light on the dressing) and a side of parmesan artisan french fries (on the specials menu). Overall a good meal and not too heavy. The downside to this restaurant are that the prices were pretty steep and the beer selection wasn’t great; I would have liked to see a DC beer on draft here.

I have never gone to a Hard Rock restaurant. I must say that this first experience was pretty good.
The music was nostalgic 80’s rock and the British Invasion.
The food is rather standard burger fare.
I had a Giant Cheeseburger and fries.
The staff was friendly and the people were interesting to watch. I had a nice time.
I’d recommend this for a night with friends or a pit stop while exploring DC.

We love this place. The musical décor is fun. We try to time visits when groups are not around. The servers are nice. I collect pins and enjoy seeing the new products. Sometimes DC will have a pin unique to that location. If you are a server, you can have your picture taking holding a guitar. The burgers are decent. The milkshakes are yummy.

Food was average. Service was poor.
I sat at the bar, and the majority of the time it was ‘unmanned’ but when it was nobody engaged with me, not even a greeting. I had to ask to order drinks and food. (I was the only person sitting at the bar!). My food came out promptly but I had to request cutlery. Nobody checked in on me to see if the food was ok, nor did anyone ask if I wanted a refill. I begrudged my 18% tip as they certainly did not work for it! I could see my server/​the bar man texting on his phone right in front of me. I was in and out in 30 mins, no thank you’s, no goodbyes!
I am beginning to loose my loyalty to the Hard Rock after my last few experiences. I used to visit a new one with every City I visited, but I think that will be stopping soon…

Alright, I am partial to the Hard Rock Café chain. It goes back to my very first 4^th of July in Boston that we were allowed as kids to go into the city on our own. We ate at the Hard Rock of course. So I have a bias.
I like this location in DC. The building is older and is near Fords Theatre and other downtown landmarks. The food between all the Hard Rocks is pretty much the same, they do usually have a local style burger or dish for the city that they are in. The burgers are always good, I have to get the smaller size since the regular one is large. The pulled pork is food also along with the ribs. The drinks can be a bit pricey but the bartenders are usually generous with the liquor I’ve found.
This location has always had friendly staff and is usually fairly full. Try to get there early for any sporting events etc, especially in the tourist seasons. During the spring and summer it will be overrun with tourists taking a break from the Cherry Blossom festival and the monuments. All in all it is worth going.

La embajada del Hard Rock en Whasingto D.C. uno de mis Hard Rock preferidos por la originalidad, fue mi segundo Hard Rock que conocí en EEUU, como en todos ellos no puedo decir otra cosa del trato y de lo divertida que fue la experiencia de comer aquí.
Os lo recomiendo, está haciendo esquina en la calle justo enfrente de un feo edificio gubernamental.

Touristy, overpriced, slow.
My friends are collectors of HRC stuff, so it was a given we’d stop here. I wasn’t thrilled stopping here for lunch, but what do you do when you’re outvoted?
I had 2 days worth of «bar» food during this trip, and I was really craving pasta or something less fried. I didn’t want a burger (not at $ 14) and I didn’t want fries. So I settled for a chicken club sandwich and even split it with Stephen, since he didn’t know what he wanted, and I wasn’t really in the mood for HRC food.
Its a pretty decent size HRC, with 2 levels, and bathroom in the basement.
3 stars for being A-​ok. Its a HRC. so if you’ve been to 1, you’ve pretty much been to all.

This is my first Hard Rock experience here in the US. I thought the whole place was amazing. I super love the fun atmosphere and cool vibes of the restaurant. The artwork, frames and images of the world renowned talented singers is spot on.
The restaurant is known for its collection of rock and roll memorabilia including autographed guitars, costumes, and photographs; these are often found mounted on café walls.
I’ve been to Hard Rock Café in three continents and numerous cities. Its always a joy and pleasure to visit the restaurant because of the place itself is entertaining. It may be a chain however the restaurant has an menu to offer.
As for visit today, I ordered the Tomato Bruchetta to start with and grilled Norwegian salmon served with mashed potato and seasonal vegetable for my main course. The food presentation is visually stunning and the flavor profile is just fine. I would say a restaurant standard. Though its seasoned well and delicious but I find it lacking in terms of texture and complexity. The brucetta needed more of citrus kick and spice to balanced the flavor. The salmon was cooked to perfection but bland and the side dish has no flavor at all.
Overall, I had a wonderful and enjoyable experience. One thing that I must commend is the memorable customer service. Who knows I might come back?

I had a good time here. Good music, good food, good service. Nothing to complain about.

Leider hatten wir keinen Hunger als wir in dem HRC waren. Die Stimmung war auf unserer Rundreise hier die Beste!!! Das ganze Reataurant hat zu den gespielten Liedern mitgeungen und es hörte sich wirklich gut an. Die Warteschlange war echt enorm. Sie schlängelte sich um ganze Häuser Ecken. Das Café ist klein aber sehr ebendig. Es hat zwei nicht sehr gut ausgestattete Rock Shops was mich ein wenig entäuscht hat für die landeshauptstadt. Daher ein Stern abzug.

Location HRC typisch, aber in meinen Augen sehr nett, da nicht so überlaufen wie z. B NYC. Essen as usual, Bedienungen sehr freundlich, wie eigentlich immer in Amerika, sie tun was für ihr Tip.
2 kleine Rock-​Shops, die etwas beengend sind, da muss man nach Möglichkeit rein, wenn nicht gerade eine Busladung Jugendlicher abgeladen wurde.
Fazit: zu empfelen!

Eines wie die vielen anderen HRC. Hier in DC überraschend klein. Blöd, die vielen Kindergeburtstage (Jugendliche), die häufig einen großteil aller Tische belegen.

Aber mit der AllAccess Card geht es dann doch etwas schneller. Und wir waren ja auch mal jung ;-).
Zum Essen gibt es nicht viel zu sagen. Sicherlich ist das HRC kein Gourmettempel aber mit einem Burger oder Nachos ist man hier immer auf der sicheren Seite. Das HRC hebt sich in Punkto Qualität nicht von der breiten Masse der HRC’s ab. Die meist gleichbleibende durchschnittliche Qualität wird auch hier geboten.
Wer es hochwertiger haben möchte, mag z.B. ins Fogo de Chão (
) — gehen.
